metal thing in battery holder is in more than my other controller like it got sunken down

every since today i haven’t been able to use these batteries, i tried a diff brand of batteries same dize but longer metal tip, those seem to work but the metal circle in the battery holder seems more lower than my other controllers metal circle, please let me know a fix to pop it back into place. email me
