Playing GTA with the Oculus Rift and Cyberith. Amazing!

Now that does look amazing indeed. Unbelievable how smooth his walking and running seems, just looks so much smoother than the omni. Additionally, the ability to sit down is great, standing while actually driving a vehicle wouldn't be all that immersive I guess.

mind blown. I think I've found a new love, now to tell the wife I don't have time for her.

Looking good as always.

Not been seeing much updates on their site or the other thread, anybody else hear anything from them lately? (Besides the nice new video)

I have, they are busy with tweaking the prototype and some other updates we will see soon (sorry, can't go into details). Bottom line: The project is far from dead if that's what you are concerned about ;-)

Glad to hear they staying busy. As far as this project dying, doesn't give out the usual warning signs of a dead end, just the normal "I'm busy building this thing, I'll get to the webpage later."

They've posted an [youtube] update just a few days ago, I dunno what are you talking about.

There are some youtube updates as well as some more recent tweets, no need to worry. It's a new company, don't expect too much marketing yet - I mean look at Oculus website: The latest news is 2 month old, the latest blog post one month. If you want to get more infos about what they do you have to check some Twitter accounts as well (and the job listings in this case ;-) :-D

Wasn't demanding daily blog posts, I was just curious what they're up to after seeing the new video . . .

Here's an extended version of the discussed GTA4 video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j44snZJDpUs .

Looks amazing.
