Oculus Debug Tool can't connect to service / HMD

When I try to run the Oculus Debug Tool, I just get an error message that says:
Unable to connect to service, or an HMD isn't connected.

What am I doing wrong?  An HMD (CV1) is connected, and Home is running.

Thanks, works now with the linked debug tool for 1.13. Sounds like getting this included with Oculus Home is somewhat of a priority now.

    Cheers.

The idea of the Debug tool inside Oculus home is a fantastic idea. But PLEASe don't just use the scaling setting.
My GTX1080 always slows down and thus the ASW & ATW are going nuts and jump between 45 and 90fps. The option to turn that stuff off needs to be included in the settings aswell!
Thanks for the link to up to date debug tool. Finally I can launch Elite Dangerous again :-)

Same problem here after Oculus just did an update. Win10-64bit, 16GB RAM, MSI VR Ready.

Brilliant! The latest update has meant that ASW is kicking in straight away and the CTRL+NUM1 command is no longer turning it off.

Tried to launch the Oculus Debug tool and find it wont connect to the HMD!

Fantastic! Every time Oculus release a new Home update they break something! Now everything looks rubbish even though I have a 980Ti and can run everything at maximum settings! Thanks Oculus Please get your act together and enable an easy way to turn off ASW!

Unfortunately this is still not working for me even after that update a few posts back. I'm on windows 10. I'm sure that will narrow it down for you LOL!
Also, thank you for you hard work! I can't even begin to wrap my head around what you do....
