https://pyra-handheld.com/boards/pages/pyra/The Pyra is the sequel to the Open Pandora.Imagine a linux based laptop with dual core cpu, touch screen, back lit keyboard, heap of ports (including usb2, usb3, hdmi and sata), sd and micro sd slots. Now also imagine it's small enough to fit in your pocket (the size of the first Nintendo DS).The Pyra runs on a 1.5GHz Omap 5 ARM Cortex A15 cpu (the cpu is on a socketed board so can be expanded later). It has a 720p 5" resistive touch screen (resistive due to more accurate tracking of a stylus). It includes a D-Pad, dual analog joysticks, ABXY buttons and 4 shoulder buttons, since one of the purposes of the Pyra is retro game emulation. It's got 32GB of internal storage, a micro sdxc slot in the battery compartment and dual sdxc card slots on the front. It's not running a mobile OS, it's basically a full desktop linux distro built for ARM.The original Pandora had crazy long battery life and great audio quality, so the Pyra should be similar. Hey there, everyone! I am one of the new Moderators for the forums. I hope everyone is having a good time in their VR worlds and is helping each other out with any issues. I wanted to just hop on here and share a little bit about myself on the forums. In terms of VR, it is definitely a lot of fun, and I have really been getting into Ragnarock VR. It's a fun game to play for any metalheads out there and very enjoyable. I have been meaning to also get Among Us VR, so maybe I will see some of ya'll there. If my username wasn't an obvious indicator, I am a huge fan of The Lord of the Rings and the world of Tolkien ever since I saw the first movie in theaters. If anyone wants to talk about LotR, let me know! I am also a huge fan of One Piece, and I wanted to see if anyone else in the community feels the same way. Which brings me to my question: What is your favorite One Piece arc, and why? I am curious to hear everyone's opinions. These are my top 3 favorite arcs: 1. Wa
Hi
Should you encounter an issue or have any questions that would require you to contact Meta Quest Support, you can do so by heading to the support page (https://www.meta.com/help/support/). Here, you can contact the support team via email or live chat. If you are facing a technical issue that you're trying to troubleshoot, our support agents will often ask for log files from your system. This allows them to investigate more in depth and find the root cause of the issue. In order to speed up the process, it's always a good idea to attach these logs to your initial support request so that the team can review them immediately. In order to collect these logs, you'll need to follow these steps: Open the run window (Windows key + R) Enter and run: C:\program files\oculus\support\oculus-diagnostics\OculusLogGatherer.exe Wait for the executable file to pop up Select logs for the last 24 hours Wait for the log collection to finish. It should pop up a Windows Explorer wi

With v54 of the Quest software we're adding a new feature that will improve gameplay for anyone out there using gamepads with their headsets. When connecting a gamepad either wired or wirelessly to a headset, there's a white dot that appears to assist with navigation by helping someone know where exactly the headset is focused. We've added a setting which allows users to disable this cursor and switch to direct gameplay control by pressing START + SELECT together at the same time on your gamepad. For anyone playing sideloaded games on Quest, this feature should help make gameplay experience even more seamless by eliminating the white dot so you can focus on your gameplay.
Couldn't find any thread about this great app that Sebastian (MRTV - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2mgZjuHRDW02mx_ok4wfPw ) lately used to measure FOV on HP Reverb G2 and many more hmds. Here's an intro to TestHMD:http://testhmd.com/https://knob2001.itch.io/testhmdAccording to the dev, current HMDs have these specs, especially when it comes to FOV (Field of View): Or zoomed in on the results:Note that when you're inside the app, the above results are seen on a wall, like this:Comparing my own Valve Index and CV1, and spending some time double and triple checking my results, I got the exact same results as the above - that is for the Rift CV1 I got 88 degrees horizontal fov and 116 degrees vertical fov. And even using glasses - but Norm from Tested also could dial in the lenses all the way using glasses - I got 108 degrees horizontal fov and 132 degrees vertical for the Valve Index. It does take some practice to do these measurements correctly. I've defined the upper
My virtual keyboard doesn't show up in the rectangle dedicated to it, instead I see a part of my wallpaper. At times it appears on the main screen but after closing the Dash it's gone until I restart Oculus. The keys work propely but I can't see what I'm pressing. Is there a way to restore the original position of the virtual keyboard? I suppose the way it works is that Oculus Dash mirrors a portion of the screen where the virtual keyboard should be to show it in the dedicated rectangle.Forgive me for the low amount of information given, if you need additional info just let me know.
