Hi Guys,So i get my rift on Sunday (Que girlish screams), but i need a new GFX card! I've been holding out for black Friday... So. The 3 models i have had my heart set on are the Asus RoG Strix series in either the 1070, 1070ti, or the 1080. Obviously i want a 1080 (or even a 1080ti) but money is a factor. Here are my two questions: 1. Is there a huge diference between a 1070 vs a 1080? The benchmarks all say about 25% extra power, but is that really noticeable in the rift?2. There is a deal for the RoG Strix 1070 cards for £50 cheaper than normal. Do a pull the trigger or wait for Black Friday dayAny opinions would be amazing!

Any bug at all !! Cable Bugs, Headset Bugs, Gaming bugs.. they can all be dealt with efficiently. All you need is a Frog to eat your bugs! wala !https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZzTQbSLXTs

You may already know StarCraft II Wings of Liberty is going to be free to play from the 14th... but they're also gifting the Heart of the Swarm DLC to people who bought the original campaign as a sweetener.... well I assume it wasn't just me!

I live in London and yesterday after playing Syndrome VR I took off the rift and looked outside the window and the sky had turned an eerie yellow sepia effect colour. I panicked (thinking my eyes had messed up) then googled to discover that parts of the UK have an influx of Sahara dust particles in the air  (caused by hurricane Ophelia) which are blocking out blue light from the sun rays leaving more reddish light and thus creating the appearance of a yellow sky. It's now doing the same again but not as intense. Anyone else seeing this Mad Max style sky it's pretty spectacular.

Well after watching Valerian and the 1000 planets, which was disappointing, I have decided singers should no longer seek acting roles. I can reflect on the crappy roles Jennifer Lopez has acted in and we all know the crimes of one Rihanna. Battleship - cough cough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm08ekh3oocThoughts??

I wonder what that would mean and would Oculus allow it?

Chunders.

I was going to buy a bigger monitor with 120Hz, but I've decided not to because the prices are ridiculous. Are there any television that do 120Hz like a monitor does where you get more then 60fps? Cheers

Any of you know if ivan sutherland ever wrote a book on virtual reality ?

Hi,I bought a 32-neuron Perception Neuron motion tracking suit a while ago, hoping that some VR demos would be available, and perhaps some game support as well. As that turned out not to be the case, i decided to sell it, because its just sitting on a shelf.I thought it might be useful for some VR game developers, so i thought id try and mentioned it here.

And.. do you think there needs to be more advertising in the gaming community for actors who have - good voices and can actually act.. I think a lot of developers just use their receptionists for female voices and their janitor for the male voices.Thoughts?

HiI love toplay games and spend most of my free time in gaming studios. Now I have plan toconvert my room into gaming studio / Home Theater to enjoy amazingentertainment experience at home. The only problem I am facing is I did notknow which gaming/Movie projector I should choose. Please do suggest me somewith high performance and HD display that did not disappoint me.Thanks

The advert in question is the one regarding the brand new $399 retail price. Someone singing like Gin Wigmore or possibly Lana del Rey. Sounds like an epic song!

I would like to supply some useful information to Oculus. How often have you tripped on the Oculus cable?? Or the USB able or HDMI cable that you have used to extend it? Considering I am Australian, the likelihood that I would trip over something is high due to my geographic and genetic traits. I feel that 'VR Ready Shoes' will be the best solution. What does everyone think? If you tripped Zero times, then you are a Frog and please select the last option

What do you think?? Shoes that are designed for the difficulty in playing VR - twisting, turning and hard-core sudden movements. This may be the new invention to make millions?
