I managed to finish my application.  It was easy to design, as it's something I would use for a performance.Check it out!VR Music Performance Kit in Quest StoreThanks for all the advice and help along the way!

Hello!I wanted to share my project:Vonias/VR-Music-TrainerI have successfully created a small application that displays music to the VR Quest that the musician can read and perform.  The VR APP has a Heads Up Display, that shows a tuner, and dynamics indicator (how loud your playing).I'm really happy with what I have so far, but it lacks appeal.  It's very basic.Check it out!VR Performance

Everything was working fine for months but after updating to 85.0.0.239.552, my USB link is broken.  After a min or so, the video craps out.  Images below, video attached. This is not while playing games or dev'ing in Unreal or Unity.  This is simply connecting my headset and going into PC link via USB-C cable.  I simply go into PC link, wait about a min, and it craps out. After this happens, I can exit out of Link.  When I disconnect and reconnect the USB cable,  the headset registers the connect and pops up the USB debug window.  But if I go to Quick Settings, the Link button says no PC is connected.  Link functionality is broken.  The ONLY way to reset Link is to restart the headset.  Then I can go back into PC Link, wait a min or so, and then it craps out again. This has completely stopped all development on my project.

Future is bright

I’m trying to switch supervision from his dad to me but can’t find where the link is I’ve checked the family centre can anyone help please

Hello everyone,I’m posting on behalf of a member of our Ghost of Tabor community who appears to have had their Meta account compromised before being permanently disabled. The user suddenly lost access to their Meta/Quest account and now cannot access their purchased VR content or properly use their headset. The system currently states the account is permanently disabled with no meaningful review or appeal option available. What makes this especially concerning is that security/session logs later revealed unauthorized activity originating from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, which does not match the user’s actual location or normal usage history. We have screenshots showing unexpected API/mobile session activity and foreign login/session locations shortly before the disablement occurred. This appears much more likely to be a compromised account or stolen session/token situation rather than intentional misconduct by the account owner. The affected user is a positive member of the VR community and

I'm looking for help on behalf of a client, one day in his personal accounts centre he found an unauthorised Horizon account connected, with a seperate email address & log in.He has tried to remove the account, however because it has its own log in credentials he can't remove it, as the 2FA & email is attached to We asked Meta Support for assistance, but all they did was ask him to log in using that account or use his head set, he doesn't even know what Meta Horizon is or have a head set.Can anyone confirm whether a Meta Horizon account can access a Business Manager? His Business Page and Ad Account was hacked.

Hi everyone,  Our app "Agentic Incard Biz" (App ID: 1235156738457434]) has been stuck"In Review" for 13+ days since May 6, 2026 — no updates, no feedback,no rejection. Just silence. Meta's own dashboard says 10 days max. We're past that. ━━━ WHAT WE SUBMITTED ━━━✅ pages_manage_metadata + pages_messaging (new)✅ Detailed permission usage descriptions✅ Full screencast video (OAuth + Messenger bot reply flow)✅ Working test credentials✅ Business Verification completed ━━━ MY QUESTIONS ━━━1. Has anyone been in this exact situation with pages_messaging?2. Did it eventually auto-approve/reject, or did you find a way to escalate?3. Is there any working contact path I'm missing? This is a live platform with real paying customers affected daily.Any help appreciated 🙏

I wanted to write this post as I a builder in horizon Worlds, I have been quiet for far to long and want to have my view on it. First of all Horizon worlds saved me as I nearly died in January last year and I pulled through. I was very ill in bed for 7 months and was very low with mental illness due to what happened to me. On my birthday I got a headset and I can't tell you what Horizon worlds did to me. I made lots of friends and got introduced to building which took my mind off my illness. You don't realize how beautiful having a platform like Horizon worlds. Its amazing for old people and people who are on there own or people who are sick. You don't realize taking building away from Vr is a silly mistake so why don't you charge a monthly subscription to use your tools which includes building clothes where Meta still earns money from vr, also build a Meta horizon shop to buy avatars, clothing and pets and rides you can bring in worlds. You would get a lot of population back to worlds

My personal Facebook account (ID: 100004979475455, name: SeungHyuk Lim)has been restricted from advertising since September 20, 2021.The stated reason is "you don't use two-factor authentication." However, two-factor authentication IS active on this account:- Accounts Center → Password and security → Two-factor authentication- Authentication app toggle is ON- "My Authenticator app" is registered as a connected device This appears to be a legacy restriction flag from the 2021 2FA enforcementcampaign that was not automatically lifted after I enabled 2FA.The restriction page itself only shows a "Secure your account" button, with no "Request review" option available. Previous email inquiries to support have not received any response. Please manually review and lift this legacy restriction. Account details:- Personal account ID: 100004979475455- Personal ad account ID: 309402189235761- Email: shlim@cookapps.com

Hello,is it possible to create and share an anchor with group in one app and then retrieve the shared anchor in another app using the same group UUID?I've tried to group app in developer dashboard but still getting error -2009 GroupNotFound.Thank you,Jiri

Hey everyone, Degly here! I’ve been working with the Meta Quest AI stack for a while now, and I wanted to share a straightforward overview of the real value for Unity developers. There’s a lot of excitement around AI tools in Quest development, but it can be hard to understand how they fit into your workflow.Meta Quest AI Stack: What It Actually Means for Unity DevelopersAI tooling is showing up everywhere in Quest and Unity development, but a lot of it gets explained in a way that sounds exciting without being very useful. This video is a plain-language overview of the current Meta Quest AI development stack. The goal is not to show a deep coding walkthrough or claim that AI will build your whole app. The goal is simpler:How can these tools reduce friction, speed up iteration, and help Quest developers move through setup, debugging, content changes, and handoff more efficiently?Video / resource link:WHO THIS IS FORUnity developers building for Meta Quest.XR developers who keep hearing

Hello,I own a VR gaming center and we use multiple Quest headsets for customers. After the system updates released around October, the option to disable the Double-Tap Passthrough feature was removed from the settings. This change has created a serious problem for VR arcades like ours. During gameplay, customers often adjust the headset strap or accidentally touch the headset, which triggers the double-tap gesture and activates Passthrough. When this happens, the game immediately gets interrupted and the player is pulled out of the experience. For a home user this might not be a big issue, but in a commercial VR gaming environment it causes a lot of frustration for players and negatively affects the experience we provide to our customers. Previously, there was a setting that allowed us to disable this feature, which worked perfectly for our use case. Since it was removed, we have been experiencing frequent interruptions during gameplay. I have already contacted Meta suppo

hola quisiera saber el motivo por que me da baja rendimiento la  aplicacion de meta para oculus rifpues cambio de rtx 4060 a rtyx 5060 con los mismos gb de vram .gracias

I understand that Meta has its own economic reasons and market dynamics for shutting down some parts of Worlds and making it mainly available as a mobile app, while leaving only old worlds accessible on the VR platform. What I do not understand, however, is how they are managing Horizon Central these days. For some time now, Horizon Central has no longer been functioning properly and is already showing signs of its upcoming closure to the public. In Central, in fact, it is no longer possible to talk with other people because everyone is muted.Instead of preventing the many people who still visit Horizon Central every day from talking to each other, Meta could simply place a notice explaining that, in a few days, Worlds will mainly be accessible from mobile devices, that only some worlds will remain available in VR, and that Horizon Central itself will no longer be available. It would be a respectful gesture toward the many users who are attached to this platform and who

So I am working with OVROverlay and I have been able to attach ExoPlayer video feed on to  OVROverlay surface.now here is the problem when trying to toggle OVROverlay's shape in realtime:overlay.enabled = false; overlay.currentOverlayShape = (overlay.currentOverlayShape == OVROverlay.OverlayShape.Quad) ? OVROverlay.OverlayShape.Cylinder : OVROverlay.OverlayShape.Quad; overlay.enabled = true;Without toggling overlay enabled state, the UI doesn't update at all. This isn't a problem with Unity's VideoPlayer with RenderTexture. RenderTexture can even apply custom shader on per frame in real time while toggling shape. But with ExoPlayer, I get such error:2026-05-13 17:08:36.139 27844 28234 Error Surface queueBuffer: error queuing buffer, -19 2026-05-13 17:08:36.139 27844 28234 Error ACodec queueBuffer failed in onOutputBufferDrained: -19 2026-05-13 17:08:36.139 27844 28234 Error ACodec signalError(omxError 0x80001001, internalError -19) 2026-05-13 17:08:36.139 27844 28233 Error M

I am developing an AR application with Unity using the Meta SDK v83Every time I take of the headset the floor level just shoots up or down when I put it back on. To fix it either I have to:Restart the appGo to settings >> Environment Setup >> Boundary >> Set floor level (sets it back to the correct height without my input)But that is not very user friendly. I'd like to have the quest recalculate floor level automatically when one of these events is fired:OVRManager.HMDMountedOVRManager.TrackingAcquiredThere does not seem to be a straightforward way to do exactly what set floor level does in settings.

I'm currently working on a mixed reality project, the idea is to allow two players who are physically in the same real world space to place objects around the room. Right now I'm working on the multiplayer part of the project. I used a custom script instead of the Building Blocks to connect both users using Photon Fusion and create a room with a code. The problem is that, during testing, the players do not see objects in the same positions. The objects move correctly, but they appear in different locations for each user.To fix this, I started looking into Space Sharing and Colocation so I can ensure both users share the same room alignment and anchors. I started implementing it, but I ran into another problem: I don't seem to be able to test it properly, is the only way to test this with two physical devices? Currently, I'm trying to test using one device and the Unity Editor with XR Simulator. When testing, I can see all the debug logs on the device build. When using the XR Simulator,

As the title indicates, after recent updates my app still works fine on Quest 2, but not on Quest 3. Earlier both were working fine. The problem is related to pressing the trigger button on the controller. This is not recognised anymore. It may be related to a (very 😁) old third party package that I am using. I initially developed my app for the HTC Vive and this package is called Vive Input Utility. It has always worked on the Quest, and still does on my Quest 2. On the Quest 3 I can see the models of the Vive controllers instead of the Quest controller, that's why I think there is a relation. I know I'll need to bite the bullet one day and replace it with the OVR Interaction Rig, but that requires updating Unity canvasses, Event Modules and button presses in scripts so a fairly big redesign. And since my app still works on the Quest2, I don't feel that this package is the problem right now. I wonder if there is a relation with the major updates recently of the Meta home environment's

I noticed with the most recent firmware updates (yay, they get worse as a new one comes out that keeps breaking my headset), that Meta has literally made my headset unusable for me.Meta, I am disabled. I have issues where I have to take off the headset almost every 10 minutes, and it sucks, really it does. Life is already super hard for me, but what I DON'T need, is for my only source of entertainment, is to come back after a flare up episode of my disability, to find that just because I put my headset down, it switched the boundary from "Roomscale" to "Stationary".Now every single time my disability acts up, I have to take the headset off, deal with my disability, come back, put the headset on, minimize steamlink, go into my settings, turn off stationary and put it back to roomscale (if it lets me because sometimes the stationary boundary gets messed up and only asks me if I want the new stationary circle HERE), then get back into steamlink, only to get motion sick because my boundary

I’ve been building a mixed reality puzzle experience for Meta Quest 3/3s and just got it live on the Store. Would love some testers and honest feedback. I’m part of a super small team of three that loves building immersive experiences and mapping digital content to the physical world. It’s called PuzzleDeck. You load different puzzle kits and after each one is complete you unlock something that’s only possible in XR. Build a Great White Shark and see what 6 metres looks like standing in your living room. The reveal was one thing I felt was missing from puzzle building and could be really interesting in XR. I also wanted to build something that my kids would have fun with too.The Ocean Giants Puzzle Kit (Shark, Whale, Orca) is the free launch collection. Would genuinely love feedback on pretty much anything and everything.https://www.meta.com/experiences/puzzle-deck/27000539009540439/

As the title suggests, I was wondering if it's potentially possible with creating an overlay like OVR Metrics Tool, as I am wanting to create an application like XSOverlay for Quest devices that are running standalone applications.

Hi,There are only samples but no specific API documents or source code for the MetaMovementSDK_Utility, so I don't know what's the correct order to combine the different APIs to generate the interpolated poses from the local side, or whether it's possible from the host object(local side). From SerializeSkeletonAndFace(...), I can only guess or estimate that metaMovementSDK_createSnapshot, metaMovementSDK_snapshotBody and metaMovementSDK_snapshotFace may be used to achieve the desired functionality. It'd very helpful if you could offer the API documents of MetaMovementSDK_Utility.RegardsH.G.
