I'm used to uploading the Quest version of our game via MQDH, and that works. But I'm trying to upload the PCVR build to the Rift store and facing an error. It has been suggested that I try CLI in Powershell, which I'm trying... but I don't think I've quite got it working. At first it was too quick and can't have uploaded 4GB, and now it's not showing progress after about 40 minutes. I'm just looking for a way to upload the game files to the Meta Server. Is there a guide or a video or someone that can help?Conversations on Discord: https://discord.com/channels/516966070448553994/518894436927668244/1423781143244836915https://discord.com/channels/516966070448553994/516966070448553997/1423820778897412268Case 00003466

I 'm trying to use hand-tracking system in UE5.I follow the interaction SDK Documentation. But I couldn't found "Isdk controller -hand" I have open "show plugin content" already.

Hi everyone,  I noticed something strange with the Environment Setup > Space Setup feature after the v79 update.  In earlier versions, after scanning the room and selecting "Edit," I could choose "Draw objects." When the "What kind of object is it?" dialog appeared, there was an option called "Storage" at the very bottom of the list (you had to scroll down to see it).  Since v79, scrolling is no longer possible, and the "Storage" option can’t be selected anymore.  Interestingly, some objects (like wardrobes or cabinets) are still automatically recognized as "Storage" after the room scan, so it seems the object type still exists — it just can’t be chosen manually.  This happens in both English and Japanese system languages. I share a short video (English UI) .  https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7WSQb97fzcMHas anyone else run into this? Do you know if this is a bug in v79, or if the "Storage" option was intentionally removed?  Thanks!  Ayumi

Hello,I am trying to use the raycastEnvironment in the MRUK (Spatial SDK 0.8.0) and am getting the error MRUK: Failed to convert timespec to XrTime: -7Searches on both Google and these forums returns ZERO results :(The error message seems to imply that the MRUKFeature is setting up to call the Native library (OpenXR?) and fails when translating the time from *nix time to the format required by the native library but I have no idea what the -7 code means or how to fix this.I have successfully built and run the MRUKSample app so I believe that the ide is correctly configured and my raycastEnvironment call is pretty much a copy of that code now as I tried to fix this issue.  The code fails in both the onFrame() function in my activity and in the execute() function in the system I originally tried to use it in.I tagged this as MRUK even though it may be confusing because there is one for both Unity and the Spatial SDK, if that doesnt work for these forums then please remove that

Hello dude, I'm having a bit of trouble. When transitioning 2D image objects to 3D world space, I used the line var ray = PassthroughCameraUtils.ScreenPointToRayInWorld(PassthroughCameraEye.Left, cameraScreenPoint);  from the sample, but an exception occurred:Exception: field LENS_INTRINSIC_CALIBRATION or type signature not found. My environment is Unity 2022.3.60f1c1, and I'm using Meta SDK v78.I moved Assets/PassthroughCameraApiSamples/PassthroughCamera from https://github.com/oculus-samples/Unity-PassthroughCameraApiSamples into my project, then used the code according to the sample, but encountered this Exception: field LENS_INTRINSIC_CALIBRATION or type signature not found issue. I have no idea where the problem lies. Could any expert help explain, or tell me the correct steps to use it?

I've got a couple of VR projects I've been working on in Unity (6000.0.50f1) and both have been working fine, I could hit Build and Run and I see the results in my Quest 3 headset which is connected by USB.Today I hit that button and I am told Unity can't find any Android devices.I have clicked the Notification to enable USB in the headset.I can see the Quest 3 in Windows Explorer and access its file structure.Developer mode is still active and has been turned on and off to check. This has been done on the App and the headset itself.I can still use all my side-loaded apps stored locally on the headset.I have reinstalled the adb driver in Windows. Running 'adb.exe devices' lists nothing.I have updated all Unity Packages.I have updated Unity to 6000.058f2 LTS.No amount of reboots to either device helps.I have since found that SideQuest won't connect either, my connection status on that software passes all checks (including Dev Mode Enabled and ADB Detected) except for Device Authorisatio

Say I have a very large area.  Think of an empty warehouse bigger than a couple football fields put together.  I want to create an AR application where my users can walk the entire area. The problem I'm running into is when I start walking I eventually hit the wall of the boundary and the AR application turns off, similar to what happens then you walk through the boundary while in VR.  I get why this exists for VR but my users are in AR passthrough, so they can see their surroundings and are not going to run into anything.  I need some way to allow my users to continue walking beyond the boundary without turning the AR application off. When I go into developer mode and disable the boundaries, A) that is only for development purposes (so I assume this means it won't work for a packaged application, and B) it turns off passthrough so AR is not an option.  When I try to manually create the boundary using the "suggested boundary", I will start walking in a direction

Hi everyone, I’m trying to get low-latency audio from my Mac into a Unity app running on Meta Quest 3. The goal is to stream either Logic Pro output or general Mac audio wirelessly or via USB-C, synced to VR content. I’ve tried:UDP streaming (too much latency, 1+ second jitter)Unity Native Audio Plugins (too outdated / build issues)Oboe (C++ plugin, build fails on Mac/Unity) I’m looking for a reliable way to receive Mac audio in Unity on Meta Quest 3 with minimal latency. Has anyone successfully done this? Even if it’s just the system audio, not necessarily Logic Pro. Any advice, plugins, or setups that actually work? Thanks!

Hi everyone,I’m working on a VR project in Unity using the Meta Interaction SDK and have a ball that players can grab and throw. Currently, I’m using the Grabbable and Distance Grab Interactable scripts. The problem is that throws can feel inconsistent: if the player releases the trigger a little late, the ball sometimes flies backward instead of forward.I know the XR Interaction Toolkit has a built-in “Throw Smoothing” feature that averages the last few frames of motion to calculate a smoother throw. My questions are:- Does the Meta Grabbable have a similar throw smoothing built-in?- If not, what’s the best way to implement throw smoothing in this setup? Should I track the last few frames of the hand’s velocity manually and override the rigidbody’s velocity on release?-Also, is there a way to adjust the trigger release threshold so that the ball is released slightly earlier to improve throwing accuracy?Any advice, examples, or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

I started a thread a couple of months ago but now when I go back to it I can't add a reply. The last reply was 28 days ago. Are threads maybe closed after a certain time? Please explain. I can reply to other threads.

Hey guys, here’s a cool project I did last week that I wanted to share :Recreating Meta’s new AR glasses on my Quest. 😎This project reproduces the new wristband using microgestures to navigate through the UI.I also built my own hand tracking implementation for the pinch and twist mechanism, which controls the volume of the audio player and the zoom of the camera just like in the keynote. But my favourite addition is definitely the contextual AI that lets me send whatever I’m looking at to an AI and instantly get more information. This was pretty fun to do, but also helped me think about how future experiences could be designed for this new device!https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7377329573287391232/ https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7376702804146429953/

Hi everyone,I’m developing an app for Meta Quest and I want to integrate a bug reporting system so that users can easily report issues directly from inside the app.Are there any recommended approaches for implementing this?Does Meta provide any built-in APIs or services for bug/feedback reporting? If not, are there any third-party SDKs (like for in-app bug reporting, crash logging, or feedback collection) that work well in Quest?Any guidance or resources would be really helpful. Thanks!

I'm trying to reach an actual person to get help, somewhere. On the Account Overview/Business portfolio page I'm trying to verify my business by 'Verify by document' and I always get "There was a problem saving your changes. Please wait a few minutes and try again."I am unable to finish request review to upload business documents. Neither business registration or certificate of incorporation is allowing me to upload a pdf.

When I use the Hand Grab Block prefab from the Meta XR Interaction SDK, a cube with the Meta/Lit shader is automatically included. I want to support large playspaces in my boundaryless mixed reality game, but moving 20+ meters from the last recenter interrupts the app with this popup (even when boundaryless):Because of this distance leash, I've had to add my own 'guardian' to avoid user confusion and complaints:Users can defeat this annoying interruption by disabling ‘physical space features,’ an option tucked away in system developer settings, but this is annoying and potentially dangerous. It disables the guardian entirely, even in VR apps, and it’s easy to forget to re-enable. (I've done it before!)tl;dr: this pop-up nearly ruins my game, and the only way to get around it is potentially dangerous. Is there any safer way around this? Are there any plans to lift this restriction for large-scale mixed reality apps?Other examplesSpatial Ops support pagehttps://resolutiongames.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/29172767544603-What-should-I-do-if-the-You-ve-moved-too-far-message-appears-when-I-ve-moved-too-far-from-the-sta

I have a big virtual environment with some pillars.  Currently, the AR objects are being rendered over the pillars.  I would like a way to occlude the objects where the physical pillars are so that the virtual objects appear to be behind the pillars. In the HoloLens and Magic Leap, I would simply include the virtual pillars and put a matte black material on them.  The headset would render the black objects (the virtual pillars) as passthrough, and occlude any virtual object behind them, thereby making the virtual objects appear to be behind the physical pillars. How do I do something similar with the Quest 3?  When I research this topic, the solution seems to be use Depth API, but my virtual environment is much too large for that solution.  How do I get a virtual object to appear behind a physical object that is far away? Thanks.

I'm over from the Start Discord and thought I'd start a post.About ready to launch the next episode of Firedrakevr. Just got th website up and working on getting the build up in the dev portal!Started with a short  exploration game and kept adding features till I ended up with a semi-open world dungeon simulator!  Heres the website with some dev logs and such.  Just got it up finally a week or two back.  Still needs a bit of polish!https://firedrakevr.comOnwards!

I know about the VRCs and guidelines of course, but I have been wondering about an experimental game where the idea is to make the player uncomfortable, would something like this be allowed on the store? Thanks!

Hi all — quick licensing question about using **Android Studio / the Android SDK** for Horizon OS development. The Android SDK License says it may be used only for “compatible implementations of Android,” meaning devices that **comply with the Compatibility Definition Document (CDD)** and **pass the Compatibility Test Suite (CTS)** (see the overview: [https://source.android.com/docs/compatibility/overview](https://source.android.com/docs/compatibility/overview)).I assume this is fine because **Meta publishes official guidance for using Android Studio with Horizon OS**, but I’d like to make sure the licensing is clear.**Questions:**Has Meta publicly stated that Horizon OS **meets the CDD** and **passes CTS**?2. If yes, could you share a link to any **official documentation** (announcement, compatibility statement, certification, CTS result, etc.)?3. If there’s no public statement, what is Meta’s guidance on using the **Android SDK** to develop for Horizon OS in light of the SDK License t

I’m working with the Meta MRUK QR Code Detection sample. The QR code detection scene works perfectly in the Editor, but when I build the project for Quest 3, the property QRCodeTrackingSupported is not have a green tick:Due to this, the QR Code is not getting detected. This functionality works perfectly fine in the Editor and is detecting the QR codes properly as well. Here’s my setup:Unity 6000.1.4f1OpenXR 1.15.0Meta XR SDK v79Meta Horizon OS v 79 (Quest 3)Has anyone seen QRCodeTrackingSupported return false only in build? Any guidance on the correct setup or SDK version needed for QR code detection on Quest 3 would be really appreciated. Thanks!

h.taylor When you have 5 minutes please could you contact me regarding a serious issue which i have had with my headset which i have had for several months now and it has not been resolved at all.

Unreal 5.5.4 installed via the Launcher.  My Quest 3 is connected via link cable and looks good.  I go into a new UE VR Template and VR Preview looks great.  Then I enable the MetaXR plugin and restart the project.  But once I do that, when I click VR Preview, the preview window pops up but nothing happens.  No connection to the headset.  When I look in the headset, it's still in the link cable grey room, ready to go into VR.In all the videos I've watched, they simply install the MetaXR plugin, enable it, and go to work.  I can't find anything on why the VR Preview would stop.Using the latest version of the MetaXR plugin: 78 (1.110.0).

Hi all,I'm working on a Unity project where speech technology is central, and I'm facing a hurdle with Meta's Voice SDK. My primary need is to use phonemes directly for text-to-speech (TTS), but I've found that Wit.ai does not support direct IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) input or return phoneme-level control for TTS.Questions & Discussion Points:Is there any way to use Wit.ai for phoneme or IPA-based TTS, or is this currently unsupported? Are there recommended approaches to integrate speech models based on self-supervised learning (like wav2vec 2.0, HuBERT, or WavLM) with Unity, either alongside or instead of Wit.ai?For complete control over TTS—especially for phoneme-level synthesis—would it make sense to bypass Wit.ai entirely and run a model (converted to ONNX) for inference directly inside Unity?Have others run into similar limitations, and if so, what workflows or toolchains have worked best for you?I’d appreciate any advice/examples for integrating more advanced or fle
