Basically when i wanted to make a purchase, I couldn't, and this message kept popping up saying "Request Cannot be Completed until Further Actions." Probably because I entered my pin incorrectly like once or twice. But Now i can't buy games on my account. Is there any issue to resolve this?

Probably best to contact meta support, maybe using the chat option.  Go to the Get Help section for info on how to do this.

Forgive me if this is in the wrong location but, I am sorta getting something like this, just slightly different: message:

What does it mean?

I've posted here previously.. I managed to fix this by changing the email associated with my meta account. Once I changed the email address on my meta account I was able to make purchases.

Will my previously purchased games disappear after changing my email address, because my current account is linked to a Facebook account and I also have a developer account, I'm afraid that changing my email address will cause more problems.

After looping over the same responses from Meta support since January on the inability to make purchases (using Quest Cash, PayPal, and a number of credit cards; whether from the headset, computer-based web browser, or mobile app; and from a variety of WiFi and cellular networks), I've decided I probably have no alternative to exploring possible legal action (I am not a lawyer). My wife's Meta account has been having the same problem.

I've written to Meta for arbitration (per their terms of service) via certified mail which they received 12 days ago. I think they have 30 days to respond, per the terms of service. I wrote that I would take it up in small claims court as my next resort after arbitration. I am not a lawyer but when I was a kid, my friend's parent represented himself in small claims court and the other side didn't even bother showing up. Did you end up pursuing legal action?

FYI, Meta just closed my ticket on this yet again because they say the problem is on my bank's side. They haven't answered my repeated question about why the same problem occurs when I try to use my $50 Quest Cash, which involves no institutions other than Meta itself.

I have $30 in Quest Cash and can't buy the game. The message says

"Request Not Completed

We noticed something unusual and, for your security, this request couldn't be completed. Please try again later, or visit our Help Center.”

I've been having the exact same issue for a few weeks and uh... I've never dealt with support THIS bad before. I have more than 30 back and forth conversations over e-mail with their randomly generated name "support" which I can only believe is an AI.

At first, they asked me for screenshots of the error message. After I supplied it several times and bullet points indicating I've attempted every troubleshooting method possible, they started asking for videos of it. It's insulting.

Blaming the "financial institutions" is also a hack, as anyone with any access to their payment processing would be able to determine if your charge was declined or not. They told me to contact my bank and provide written proof that my payments weren't be declined, so I humored them and did that -- my bank responded and said they aren't even able to filter specific merchants.

The truly unusual thing is that all four of my payment methods randomly started working for a few hours on 2/23 and then promptly broke again when I tried to purchase something several hours later.

I did create a new account and was able to purchase something, so I immediately refunded it. When I attached that account to my headset, it also starting having this issue. So I wouldn't recommend trusting that route either.

Strangely enough, my fiancé uses the same payment methods I do and has no issues.

I'm facing the same issue as you. I have no energy left and feel like giving up.

I spent a lot of time explaining my situation to the support team, but every time, a different person responded and asked me to provide my information again. I've gone back and forth more than 20 times, and their replies are always the same, as if they were not from a real person. The issue still hasn't been resolved.

Same, but it's important that you don't give up. I am dedicated to keeping my case open indefinitely until this is resolved. The investment in headsets, accessories, and games is too great to let them just run off with all of the money. Mine isn't even three months old yet.

The support team is either a terrible AI or human with a limited English skillset that can't/won't spend much time going back through 20+ e-mails to fully understand our issue. When they respond to you with a canned response, respond back to them with a canned response. Create a draft in your email where you summarize every step you've gone through and copy/paste it back to them.

It's important to understand that tier 1 support is often entry level reading from a script, so the issue lies in getting our cases escalated to someone that can actually do something about it. I suspect that they don't have any access to anything and are just used as a filter. Unfortunately, I have asked repeatedly to be escalated or to talk to a supervisor and been ignored every time.

We may have to compile a list of case numbers of everyone we can that is experiencing this and just start adding those into our responses. You'd think this would be a high priority as they're losing money not only for themselves but also the game devs.

I tried changing email, after having seen that suggested, and it did not work for me, either....

Yes, changing the email didn’t help at all. No matter how many times I changed it, it was useless. This is a Meta backend issue, and I can only wait for Meta to lift the restriction. But I have no idea when they will do it. All I can do is keep reaching out to Meta support for a solution. I just hope I won’t run into this issue again—otherwise, I’ll go crazy!

Interesting. I had been buying Quest Cash regularly for my kids from my Quest account as gifts to their accounts because I didn't want to associate a credit card with their accounts and because I was letting them earn Quest Cash as a reward mechanism. Now, my account, my wife's account, and my kids' accounts are all blocked from making purchases.

My guess is that the AI is randomly blocking quest cache users.

Hello guys I'm still having the same issue with the Oculus Store payment so... nothings changed for almost a year lol. But looks like I grabbed the attention of other users and the Meta Support team hopefully they'll resolve this. But honestly, my opinion as of now, It better to use your QUEST headset with STEAM-VR if u have a good PC. With the current payment issue everyone is having I'm not sure this issue will be resolved.

I submitted a request but I don’t think it will do anything good since I’m hearing about you guys not getting that much help with it

I've had "changes on my account" on the backend several different times now. I could tell something had been done because payment methods I'd removed had been restored, but it didn't help at all.

I'm finally getting emails from "next level of support" and "dedicated support team" and they stopped asking for the same things repeatedly, so that's a plus??? Though, they don't seem to be able to fix the issue either. Every time I ask for an update they say they're pushing for a solution.

I do find it hilarious that I can add Quest Cash to my account, remove every payment method, and this exact same error pops up.

Is there really no solution available for this problem? It sucks, I received my first quest 3 headset and I run into this problem. I've been with a couple of their support team, and the only solution it gave me was "you have to wait a few minutes after adding a payment" which gave me a huge red flag. Never heard that one before. I am so frustrated because I didn't purchase it for gaming but to use the virtual desktop app, and now the headset is useless for me. I can't even purchase the stupid Quest cash and can't even purchase the **bleep** things anywhere else but the Meta app which is possibly the root of the problem.

Update: maybe I should have read further, don't add money via gift card, you won't be able to use it either and the money will stay unused in your account. So beware
