Cannot Make Purchases. "Request cannot be completed until further actions"

Basically when i wanted to make a purchase, I couldn't, and this message kept popping up saying "Request Cannot be Completed until Further Actions." Probably because I entered my pin incorrectly like once or twice. But Now i can't buy games on my account. Is there any issue to resolve this?

Probably best to contact meta support, maybe using the chat option. Go to the Get Help section for info on how to do this.

I am once again randomly able to make purchases and gift apps as of the last 12 hours (Mar 6). The last time this happened was Feb 23, so I fully expect this to be a recurring nightmare.

I haven't received a response from support in a few days now, so who knows what's going on over there.

The email support team has told me for the billionth time that I should check with my bank because there's nothing wrong (from their perspective) on Meta's side. I've reminded them again that, not only have I checked with multiple banks (who still aren't blocking anything), I am still also getting the same error when trying to use my existing Quest Cash to make any purchase. It's been months like this.

Yep. I had to provide written proof from my bank until I discovered that buying a gift card works just fine with my payment methods but the store didn't. Even the Quest+ subscription payment went through with the same payment method when the store didn't work.

To make matters even worse, after 50+ exchanges over email with support I just stopped receiving responses entirely. I contacted them via other means when my ticket was going to be automatically closed and they confirmed they were experiencing email issues with some people. Their entire backend is a disaster.

My issue resolved itself on March 6th and continues to work, so I have no idea if it randomly fixed itself or if someone there fixed it as I stopped receiving responses.

FWIW to anyone else out there, my account and the accounts of my family members are still having this issue. I have received roughly weekly emails the last few weeks from Meta (without additional prompting from me) saying that they know it's still unresolved and that they are still working on it.

Update - it's been a year. I've continued following up with support. No resolution. They've regularly had me re-explain the issue from scratch despite having a consistent ticket number.

I got the exact same issue. Contacted support team by email and they said they’ve made some change to my account and I should be able to make purchase again but still can not. So frustrated.

I'm continuing to keep after them (it's been about four months) and lately have been getting weekly unsolicited "we are aware the problem still exists and we are working on it" emails, which is nice... although it would be much nicer if I could make purchases (and renew subscriptions). As a workaround, I've found that I can gift some (not all) purchases to myself redemption codes from another account, and I was able to renew my Supernatural subscription by buying it as a redemption code gift through Target (since I couldn't find a way to gift a subscription in any other way).

Yes, This is the current solution, but you need to have three accounts. Account A cannot make purchases, while Accounts B and C can. You can use Account B to buy a gift for Account C. When Account C receives the gift code, use that code to activate it on Account A.

i think i got the same problem even though i got 50 euros in my meta account which i recieved with an meta gift card, every time i try to purschase an game it gives me this message after filling in my meta pincode which should be able to let me make the purschase ive been contacting support for longer then a month now and they havent helped at all. All they say is that they got a team working on it and that they will send me updates this has repeated for over longer then a month.

Has anybody tried factory resetting? Also I randomly got a refund from meta back in February and since then I haven’t been able to make any purchases. I never requested a refund so I don’t know what that was about.

Maybe something wrong with your account, if you received a refund which you haven't ask for and since then you can't buy anymore??
Some mismatch with another account maybe?
Reach out to support so they can look into your account.

The same thing happened with the accounts of me and my wife - a few months ago, our recent intentionally purchases were reversed and refunded without request (and these refunds were rolled out a bit over time), and our accounts were unable to make purchases starting at that point. I'm continuing to hear back from Meta - now five months later - saying they are still working on the problem.

I got a feeling this can’t be legal right I’ve bought an 50 euro gift card and I can’t use it and all they keep sending me is the same script saying they are working on it for 2 months now, I feel like there’s gotta be some legal issues here

Its nearing mid july and im comin across the same issue still, i think meta is banning anyone who refund purchases in any way because its losing them money

Actually, Meta loses money when their customers can't buy games.
Means..... it can't be their goal to ban people and hold them back from buying.😉
