On Dec. 28 I received a notice on Facebook that my account was suspended for "violating community standards." I was given a link to a page about child sex trafficking. This suspension also prevents me from using my Quest 3. Spoiler Alert: I'm not a child sex trafficker. The only possible reason for this I can think of is that I posted a family Christmas picture with my little one-year-old niece on my lap and the automated system flagged it as "possible child molestation, requires further investigation."Ok, I can live without Facebook for a while--I don't pay for it. Word on the street is that this "review process" could take weeks or even months and I'm absolutely not okay with being blocked from using my Quest 3 for that time. It's already been over a week.As you all probably know, Facebook/Meta has no phone support. I've already sent them an email and so far no response. Any suggestions on how I can get some movement on this rather than just continue in "wait and see" mode?

I want to send and receive emails on my VR headset rather than having to take it off, use my ipad for any emails and then put the headset back on.How do I do this ?

I’ve tried multiple times to send a game as a gift (to my friend’s email and even my own alt). Each time, the money is deducted and I receive the Meta Horizon Store receipt, but the actual gift code email never arrives.Support has been no help at all — the only answer I get is “wait 30 days for an automatic refund if you can’t find the email.” This is not acceptable when real money is involved and the problem is clearly on Meta’s side.If there is an issue with Meta’s email/SMTP system for game gifts, it needs to be acknowledged and fixed immediately, instead of leaving customers stuck for a month with no product and no solution.

Hello yall,My elite strap (without battery) headset just broke. To be precise the rubber headrest just popped off from the plastic on the left side. It was the attachment point between the adjustment wheel and the headrestI see a screw inside the plastic and in the rubber a golden nut and a mole for a attachment.I am just interested if someone had a similar case and how they fixed it. Would greatly appreciate it before i accidentally break the entire elite strap

How do I get rid of the avatar and the hands. I'm trying to work (remote desktop), and I constantly get these avatar hands obstructing my view, reaching for the controllers that I placed out of the way. Can you guys just make simple stuff that works rather than lots of gimmicks? Maybe an adult mode that has all the stuff made for 5-year-olds automatically turned off?  When I go into settings to change the environment it moves just for opening the settings. Not even changing anything.  Then I have to reset them. Why? Why can't you just do normal things in settings without massive disruptions? I have to go get my left controller because just changing things isn't actually available in settings. My Meta Quest device is partially unusable. I cannot download apps because my account is locked to an old email addressI no longer have access to. The automated recovery process leads to dead ends,and there is no logical way to update my email or reset the Store PIN. I have already contacted Meta support, but the process is extremely slow.This blocks the use of paid hardware. I am requesting manual assistance from a human support agent.

On meta quest Vr I call people on the Vr on WhatsApp they can hear me but they can’t hear the game. The game name is blade and sorcery. On youtube they can hear it and aim xr. I tried looking for if i muted it but i couldnt see anything that may make it do that. Casting the audio just wont work.  

I started the process and couldn't finish entirely as he wasn't present (needed his phone to sign into a Google to get his email).Now when we got to his account either via the Family Center logging in as me, or via the Meta account page, it congratulates him on his birthday then gives him the details.From there it gets to a page to sign in with his email address pre-populated.Before I can enter a password I get:This email is already associated with a Meta account, so it can't be used to create a new one. I've had severe issues trying to link my Meta Quest 2, so I've decided to try and reinstall the program. But as i tried to uninstall it through Window's installed apps. It wouldn't show the uninstall screen. So I got suggested to manually uninstall it by deleting files from:\Program Files\Oculus\Users\[name]\AppData\Local\Oculus\Users\[name]\AppData\Roaming\OculusAfter this i tried reinstalling, but the setup file just won't pop up.I've tried several things, like repairing the .NET framework, and even removing all register file names containing Oculus or Meta Quest.As of now, I can't use the program anymore, is anyone familiar with this problem?Thanks in advance! The setup log gives this output; 

hello, i've had this meta quest 3s for a month now and i was playing CREED  and punched my wall and the controller started doing weird movements, I hope I won't need to buy another controller cuz they are expensive. FIX THIS PLEASE IM BEGGING

When launching games or when in immersive environment, my avatar/body is detached from my camera, though it does show the model properly in mirrors. The detached avatar model is headless and legless.Link to issue: https://streamable.com/xc5g32

It seems that after the update to PTC 85 that I can no longer open windows while in an immersive app. I've tried toggling the feature, rebooting, and still not change.

I purchased a game and it charged me twice, the game isn’t showing in my purchase history and I can’t download it, it just shows like I need to purchase it still. I did all the basic troubleshooting steps listed and it’s not helping. 

So, my quest 3 is locked out, I don’t know the password and can’t access the headset settings. Another problem is that I don’t have cloud backup setup. I don’t want to do a factory reset because a lot of my important data is on there (such as money based in-game purchases and games that cost money) does anyone know a way to solve this problem without me losing my important data?

Hi everyone, just as my title mentioned, i am currently working on a Unity project with the passthrough feature on a user-defined shape.it works fine on editor mode and when i built it into an exe on my laptop. The build runs fine without any crashes.however when i port the build over to my pc, it had random unexpected crashes like not responding at times.i have tried several solutions such asremoving multi-threading(unchecking graphics jobs)updating pc quest link applowering graphics settingsim unsure of what are the possible causes that may cause this crash , is it something to do with the project settings ? Or could it be Meta Unity package having some issues ? p.s please help its urgent :((

I have been trying to access my Steam games on my PC but when I click on SteamVR in the Quest 3 headset it just puts up a window that says "Playing" and it just keeps clocking.  I have a i9-12900k with a new RTX5070 and I am using the Meta LINK cable.   I also tried starting non-Steam DCS but it just keeps loading and loading and loading.  I can't even get Starwars Squadrons to  show in my library. Sure would appreciate some help. 

So I’m a Canadian and I was trying to gift my other Canadian friend as a present for Christmas as we are making a game and he redeemed it and it said error and I tried it and it says it’s already been redeemed I’ve looked everywhere for advice and couldn’t find anything I have the SDM receipt and the gift card and don’t know where my $15 dollars went I even have the notification I bought that stuff from the store and his account still hasn’t gotten the quest cash as both accounts are empty 

I've been trying to play games on my device but everytime I select an app it kicks me and when I go into the quest store it gives me error HDSLVC2 I've tried rebooting it I've re-entered the WiFi password can you help?

When I plug in my Rift CV1's USB cable into my motherboard the whole PC freezes and the only way to turn it off is via a forced shut down by holding the power button. If I leave it plugged in when starting, the PC freezes during or shortly after the Meta Horizon Link app starts.I've tried updating NVIDIA graphics drivers, updating/reinstalling Meta Horizon Link, updating motherboard drivers, disabling USB power saving on individual devices but nothing works. I've also tried both USB ports direct from the motherboard chipset and also ones that go through an internal controller first, with the same end result.

I was gifted the device for Christmas. Although I barely used, it I actually enjoyed it.Today, I went in for a workout, and the device fell off of my head when I bent down during the work out. It barely hit the turf in my backyard. It hasn't come on since. The charging light doesn't even work. If I knew that navigating this issue with warranty and all, I would've asked my son to return it the next day. My question is, what are the chances of my device turning back on after all the troubleshooting?

Tried to start Men in Black, which it didn't. Then tried to restart. Now all I can do is see the blue Meta Sign which then "starts" to a black display.I can access the Factory reset page, which also includes boot and side upload (do not know what that is, but I had side quest once installed).What can I do?I do not want a factory reset.

Hello, i have a problem. In order to log in to my account, i need to enter a security code that is sent to a no longer working email address. I don't know how to change is to send it to a new email adress, because now my facebook and Meta accounts are blocked. I lost my password or will it be restored. Is there avy way i can change the email address i entered or is there any way i can contact Meta to sort out this misunderdtanding. Thank you for your attention.  I would like the responsible persons to respond to my problems. 

and meta cam quest keeps stopping. These are the messages i'm getting on my headset.  I've done a soft reboot.  what do these messages actually mean, how can i fix it? There must also be away of saving purchases and data so its not all lost if a factory reset is done?? Any help would be great. thank you.
