My step son has a VR at his mom’s house and we are wanting to get him one for our house as well so he doesn’t have to keep lugging it back and forth. Would we be able to log in to his account on both VR sets? Not at the same time. He would use his moms while there and ours while with us.
We have had the same issue, with the small screw coming out, its not even a year old and its come off surely it shouldn't do that, you need a specific allen key for this, the cost of these metas surely to just try and force it bsck in and twisting is ridiculous
u need to fix this! This is unacceptable. I didnt buy a meta quest 3 to play stand alone iwht the **bleep**tiest graphics and lag performance. PLEASE FIX HAND TRACKING WITH LINK CABLE!
My son's Quest 3s appears to be hard bricked. No power, no display, no LED when plugged in, no response to any buttons. This occured after his storage reached maximum capacity. For awhile I could power on the device but it would only display pass through images and I could not get to the main menu. Is there anything we can do or are we out of luck? Thanks for any advice or support.
Anyone else noticed that the latest V81 software version I think 2008 version you load a game and suddenly the top half of your lenses vision is blurred and pixilated? the home environment is fine so it’s not my lenses only happened in this latest update of V81
It gets me so angry
Hello, I requested the replacement of some Meta Quest 3 and it’s been over four months. Does anyone know roughly how long this process takes or has anyone had a similar experience?
HiI have a problem with my Quest 3. I only use it for media consumption. I always keep it connected to a USB cable for charging, so it’s supposed to stay charged all the time. Unfortunately, the Quest keeps interrupting the charging while I’m watching movies. If I don’t notice it, the battery drains completely within about 90 minutes. I recently got a BoboVR S3, but the same thing happens with it too. I have to keep unplugging and replugging the cable. It's a replacement device from Meta.
The Meta Quest link application takes a very long time to run on the computer, and after launching the air link via the headset, it also takes a very long time to run.
Hi, I scanned my room but I want to change some positioning: is it possible to delete those scans?
When I travel to two or one of my worlds in edit version I make it into the world and put myself in build mood I get kicked out. This been going on for about 3 days now.
It's just that simple.I setup a floor level, draw boundary or scan my room, then save and right after that I cannot see the boundary. It's not saved. Yes, I tried reset, another room, another light, I even wiped headset with a dry white cloth. I created several tickets out from headset, but all of my tickets traditionally ignored by developers. And the problem is - that I don't even know what to do or where to complain. In all my games small circle boundary is applied - it makes most of my games unplayable. If my vacuum cleaner broke, I could call, come to the store, send it back and they would definitely help me. What to do with this piece of broken **bleep** other than complain on reddit and find out there's a legion of people with the same problem they can't solve - I don't know.
I am having issues with resizing app that i use and don't know how to fix it. The app that is the main problem is ps remote play. Anyone have a work around?
Hello. I couldn't seem to find much content on this issue online, so I'm looking to discuss it here. I bought this second-hand Oculus Quest from someone that has been using it until recently around mid August, and have been using it for development in my research. I would spend around 8 hours developing per day, and I did notice that the headset would get hot sometimes. A few days ago, a system alert notifying that the device's fan wasn't working properly. I was worried about it so I stopped using it for long hours at the time, but when I turned the headset on and tried putting on my head, it made this loud, singular beeping noise that never seemed to end. The sound stopped when I turned the headset off. After a while, I turned the headset on and it didn't make any noise, but I was too scared to put it on my head, so I just turned it off again. Is this headset dangerous to use? Can I still keep using it? I'm really troubled on this because my project with a deadline will really be
I literally feel like im breaking my wrist to play shooters currently with how badly positioned the VR pointers are on my controllers with my new meta quest 3s.Seriously I saw forum posts about this over 2 years ago, and i see that NOTHING has been done about it.I am seriously about to begin a full refund request because this is just beyond stupid how badly the pointer can be in some games.seriously i am beyond shocked you have not had more complaints about this HORRID choice of inability to customize.
Hi, I’m experiencing a persistent issue with Horizon Worlds Desktop Editor on my PC. After installing and launching the app, it immediately shows a black screen and becomes unresponsive (“Not Responding”). I contacted the PC shop and they looked at specs and requirements and the logs and they didn’t understand it, said it should be no issue on my computer and suggested a re-install which I have done several times.Windows Version: Fully updated Windows 10 (latest patches installed after a full factory reset)Drivers: Latest NVIDIA drivers installed with clean installAntivirus: tried with it turned offRun as Admin: Tried launching as administratorCompatibility Mode: Tested Windows 8 compatibility mode and disabled fullscreen optimizationsLog: Shows “Windows cannot access the file horizon.exe” error on crash DirectX 12Updated c++ redistributables Additional notes: Meta Quest Link works fine on my PC with this, as does the latest Unity and in fact this is the only software I’
ive already tried restarting my computer, but it still gives me this prompt. i have no third party softwares and ive tried reinstalling the app 17 times. ive deleted the oculus setup files in the background of the screenshots but it still refuses to start installing. ive browsed the forum already and this is a common issue. does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?
Hello,I made the major mistake to install the last update of the Oculus client. Since then, my Oculus rift is stuttering in games. Nvidia drivers up to date. How can I go back to previous version please ?
I can’t add my friend it only gives the option to block or report him. I did all steps from another post and nothing is working
After updates when going into hozion it will crash or lockup most of the time. Also when I try to bring up menu on left wrist will not show up. I have to exit horizon to go to different room. Unable to open couple of panels at same time like before. Before I could see panel different worlds, panel of my apps, panel of profile and friends. When I do look at worlds it has world I never been to. Why don't it show my favorite worlds? I want to open hozion world panel and see my spades, run out uno, puzzle.
For a few days the view on my Quest 3 has been suddenly turning to the opposite direction every now and then. This occurs in all games. Is this a software bug or a hardware error? What can I do to fix it? There have not been any problems like this before on my Quest 3.
Quest Link app: 78.0.0.988.310OS: Windows 11 24H2 26100.4946Firefox: seemingly any version now. V142, ESR, all the way back to 130. After letting the Quest app update to the latest drivers, it is causing Firefox to crash anytime Firefox gets audio or video permissions.Uninstalling the quest link app will make Firefox go back to normal. Re installing, the crashing problem comes back. The quest link app does not need to be active.Reproduction Steps:Have Quest Link 78.0.0.988.310 and Firefox installed.Go to https://webcamtests.com/Click on "Test my Cam"AlternativelyGo to meet.google.comNew meeting -> Start instant meetingSet the mic and camera permissions In both cases, Firefox immediately crashes.I have completely reformatted my computer and reinstalled everything, with the same problem. As soon as the Quest Link app is uninstalled, the problem goes away.
Hi! I have just recently acquired a Meta Quest 3S headset and everything was going well. But just yesterday, I had some issues with the display and I cannot use it anymore. I was playing a game through Steam VR and suddenly, everything went black. Audio still played and game was still running when looking at my PC screen. Pressing the Power button and the headset twice brings me back in, but the black screen comes back immediately. It also happens sometimes when turning the headset on and looking at the tabs open while nothing is running yet. I can't play games anymore or even transitioning to the 3D world without it happening. Finally, after the black screen accident, my left eye has some issues with the screen. It's like staring at an old TV through a camera or a burned image stretching, I can't really explain. I think the right eye works fine, but not 100%. I should also say that the higher the refresh rate, the darker the left eye becomes, to the point of not seeing at all through
Hi,I did search here, the web and Amazon, but I couldn't find a USB C cable that can provide both MIDI In/Out capability and power to charge my Meta Quest 3. I have already purchased a USB MIDI cable and it works great with PianoVision and my Yamaha Clavinova, however, the Quest runs out of battery pretty quickly running that app so I only get an hour or so practice. Ideally I want some sort of USB C splitter which has one lead for power and the other for MIDI. I can find splitters with Power and Audio, but I don't know if the audio lead will allow the MIDI signal to flow to and fro.Has anyone any experience with this, or could recommend a cable? Many thanks,Jeremy
