VOICE CONTROL PROBLEMS

I need help i activated the voice control on my meta quest 3 using a vpn because i live in austria then turned my headset into standby on accident and i couldnt use my controllers or hand i figured out i could use volume buttons so i entered my code but in the menu itself i could press setting because even when the gaze points on setting it opens chats and also in the store when the gaze points somewhere it clicks somewhere else im freaking out and im scared that i have to factory reset also i need the vr as soon as possible because theres some important stuff so please reach out

The gaze cursor itself is not simply unresponsive. The click target is offset/mapped to the wrong UI elements: for example, when I look at Settings, Chats opens instead. The password screen and some buttons such as X/minimize work correctly.

Use the physical vol +/- buttons to navigate the headset and get to accessibility settings.

Say "tab" while hovering the head cursor dot over the voice control toggle in the accessibility settings to switch off voice control (or alternatively, use the vol +/- buttons).

If all else fails, factory reset (but it shouldn't be necessary).

    I clearly said that i already figured that out and that i cannot open settings because the gaze isn’t working amd its opening chats instead of settings(the whole UI was switched up but visually it didnt change)

    I guess, rrsb9775858729​ means: Since your pointer if offset, you should point on a different place then you actually want to open?? Not sure, though.🤷‍♀️

    I think, you should do a factory reset to get your Quest working proper again.

      Do you mean the “Voice Changing” option in the Meta Horizon app? If so, where exactly can I find it? Could you please give me the exact steps?

      MisterFister01x​  I don't think, you can disable voice control in the phone app. It's a headset setting.

      If you are able to open your settings in the headset, you can try the solution from the thread below... if not, do a factory reset.

      Yeah sadly i had to factory reset oof now i gotta mod bonelab fusion on standalone again and change all my settings
