I've found a bug with the Oculus Link software using the official link cable and Quest 3. Every time I try to play some relatively demanding PCVR titles or enter some heavy worlds in VRChat, after the computer stutters for a few seconds for loading, the headset tracking and the streamed video feed go completely out of sync. The frame rate in the demanding scene after loading is high and smooth, but the video feed in the headset is a bit delayed relative to my head movement, resulting in an extremely nauseous experience. Even after I quit the demanding game and returned to Oculus Dash, the problem remains, and the video feed is still delayed. This bug can be reproduced consistently. Reconnecting the Oculus link briefly eliminates the problem, but the delay happens again when I try to load scenes. This makes the Oculus link unusable. Any solutions? PC spec: Dell G15 Laptop (i7-12700H, RTX3060, 16g RAM, Plugged in wall). Quest 3 connected via Thunderbolt port
Been using wireless earbuds Soundcore VR P10 with my Quest 3 for the last 2 years and they worked fine , even a passthrough charging , never had problems with connecting until last 2 quest updates .Now , my earbuds connect to dongle but there is no sound anymore . I tried every solution that I found on Google but nothing helped , still not working with my Quest 3 , but they work just fine on other devices . If any body had the same problem and fixed it , please share it .Thanks in advance !
Title says most of it. The cable itself is a 3.2 gen 2 cable, capable and tested for 20Gbps speeds. Type C port on my front header is capable and tested of speeds up to 5Gbps. Port itself works with slower speed cables, cable itself works with slower speed ports and adapters. However, connecting my Quest 2 causes an enumeration hang in USBview. After about 2 minutes, it enumerates to a USB 2.0 speed device and the connection is extremely spotty, often failing and tessellating after just a few seconds of being connected. I don't see a reason why falling back to normal USB 3.0 or 3.1 speeds wouldn't work, but it just doesn't for some reason. At this point I've gone through multiple different motherboard headers, different expansion cards, different ports, different cables, the whole nine yards. Reset the app, the headset, cleaned all ports, reinstalled all drivers, nothing works. Purchased a final C 3.1 - C 3.1 and C 3.0 - A 3.0 cable bundle, after that I'm hanging it up. Any help w
when I hook up my quest 3 to my compatible pc with a cord that works and I go to link it then I press launch, and it just gets stuck in the loading screen for link in my vr and it has not worked for a while
Meta quest support is non-existent. I bought 2 meta quest 3s this week and the first one is working fine. The second one, I bought for my son, work except population one is stuck at the loading screen at 0% and won't budge no matter how many times we uninstall and re-install the game.I have tried to get support BUT when I try to do that I get "we could not find any devices associated with your meta account" and it just goes around in a circle. I do use my device AND I log on with my meta facebook account but I can't get any assistance.ready to throw the headsets in the garbage and get some that work and I can get support for if needed.
I need a definitive answer on account to device limits. Use case: I am setting up a small training lab where up to 20 Meta Quest headsets are prepared and maintained under one Meta account for centralized purchases and quick provisioning through the Meta Horizon app. Before I scale, I want to be sure I am inside supported and documented limits. Specific questionsWhat is the hard limit, if any, on the number of Meta Quest headsets that can be paired or registered to a single Meta account in the Meta Horizon app or backend? If there is no fixed numeric cap, are there soft limits, security checks, or rate limits that might block additional pairings at scale? Are there restrictions on simultaneous sign-ins across multiple headsets using the same account, for example forced sign-outs or throttling? For apps purchased through that account, are there known concurrency limits on launching the same title on multiple headsets at the same time, and is this enforced globally or title by tit
i’ve had my headset for almost a year now and I got off it for 10 months almost and now none of my things are working. I only have one controller too. It’s my controller and it’s not pairing, and it says the code above it and then it says like to pull out the paper tabs, but I’ve had it for a year and I don’t have any paper tabs and it’s not letting me do anything else because it’s stuck on that screen. I can’t do anything I can’t press any single singular button, and it doesn’t work.
Hi, my lens drop over the rug, they turns "on" normal but both controllers the Light Ray is cut or interrupted, due that I can´t execute or select actions.
Controller wouldn’t pair, resorted to factory reset and now I can’t get past the screen where I’m supposed to pull the tabs out of my controllers. And yes, all batteries are in correctly and are new. I just want to reach support.
I wanted to play PCVR games but i have not found a single guide on how to connect my headset properly, i used a usb-c cable i had around but the quality is garbage and the games lag as hell making it obviously impossible to play.
Help me pls, my right controller doesn't want to pairing with my quest 2, BUT my left controller work as usual.I tried:Reboot questHard reset questUpdate questUpdate baterriesUpdate Meta HorizonRe-pair all controllers (only left connecting)Nothing works When i press oculus + B button's, controller flash 3 times and that's allHe doesn't even vibrate
I’ve noticed my Quest 3 is the only device on my network having issues with IPv6. Every so often it disconnects for a second and then reconnects, but sometimes it just refuses to reconnect at all unless I keep trying. All my other devices work perfectly fine on IPv6, so it seems to be a Meta-specific problem. Since my Wi-Fi provider doesn’t allow me to switch to IPv4, I’m stuck dealing with it. Anyone else running into this or found a workaround?
I tried factory resetting my oculus and I have tried many other things like holding down b and the oculus button and it won’t pair it was working fine but after I changed the batteries it wouldn’t seem to turn on.
Meta quest 2 controller not pairing. Controller stopped working couple days ago. Went through all the troubleshooting - batteries, unpair, repair, hard boot, resetting, factory reboot, software updates - now I’m stuck in the factory restart mode with right controller not connecting. Turns off, vibrates, then 2 light blinks, break, 2 blinking lights. Any suggestions or are we stuck having to buy new controller? Have a pretty upset kiddo over here as this was his first ever purchase with his own money. thx
im use a oculus quest 1 . when the headset paired i connected to wifi and my 2 controler are linked but in the headset they told me to finish configuration on meta horizon app .i see on the headset on top : 1 update on 2 completed .please finish configuration on meta horizon app .please help i cant use my oculus anymore
I bought a meta quest pro and started the set up procedure. When it gets to connect headset to work, I enter the emsil snd it is not recognised.i want to use it for personal use but can’t get past this point. I have tried to pair the device and it is asking for a 5 digit code which I cannot find.I am on the same Wi-Fi and I can’t find a code on my headset. I have factory reset the device several times and it gets stuck at the same placeplease assist
Why is this still not possible? We want to help guide our kids and also monitor what they are doing in VR. Can we please get an update that allows a child account to cast to the meta app, like a normal account does. People have been frustrated by this issue for almost 2 years. I just bought a 3s for a 10 year old and we need this feature
Quest 3 is not being detected. (No device found) on the Meta PC App, The Meta Link is NOT detecting the Quest 3 in cable or Air Mode. Steam VR is not detecting the Quest 3 VR either. Although, I am able to use Virtual Desktop Streamer, which detects the PC. Also, I have loads of small windows in standalone and PC mode saying updating the controllers, a few windows, close but about 10 windows stay open. About time that Meta got its software to work properly, it seems it works for a time, then turns rubbish. I am fed up with this VR headset, more hassle than its worth!
ive gotten back into pcvr again and one thing that ive noticed is that every game for roughly 30 minutes to an hour, i get these weird pixelated lines on the top of the screen/lens. if i ignore them for a bit then they gradually overtake the screen and it just becomes a really pixelated mess, forcing me to restart the link software.this is a recent issue ive been having, as the last time i played pcvr (albeit a few months ago), i never had this problem and could play to my battery life's content. it's not a cable issue either because both syntech cables i own get the same issue.ive done pretty much everything to no fix. asw is disabled, im using h264 instead of h265, ive reinstalled the link software multiple times, ive done the cable test and they aren't failing, reset the quest even. someone on similar post said they downgraded their gpu drivers, but that isn't the best permanent solution.two other possible fixes ive heard of is just disabling link sharpening and sliced encodin
so i got a second hand oculus rift cv1 this year when i got it it worked perfectly fine but i stoped playing with it for a bit and now the screen is black the led is orange nut i can still hear sounds coming from my laptop my hardware is amd ryzen 7 7735HS and a geforce rtx 4060 laptop gpu
WE paid for it with our own money so we should be allowed to do what we want with our quest as long as its not illegal, your horrible company is restricting what we can do with our quest and its unfair, let us do what we want with our bloody devices??
My quest 2 won’t connect to my iPhone
I put my gmail in and it didn’t work.
