Pairing & Connections

Hello: This is driving me insane.  I have an Iphone X with the latest version of Ios.  I am relatively new to the meta quest 2 headset.   I have read on multiple support threads / help articles that there should be a setting in my Oculus App (named Meta Quest 2 app now).  I work in technology but can not find this setting.  At this point I am guessing this setting may not be available due to Apple privacy or something .. I looked in the Settings are and device settings too all within the meta quest 2 app on my iPhone. I am looking for the easiest way to view some of my photos and videos on my Meta Quest 2 Headset.  I can't imagine this should be so difficult. Thanks for any response.

Hello, I just purchased a Meta Quest 3s visor, which I use with cable link, on a 3.1 USB port, sometimes on a 3.0, but that doesn't affect the issue wharsoever. The cable is not original and I've got it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.it/dp/B0BRQMVCXLThe problem is that almost every time, it takes 15-20 mins to succeed in playing. The PC notifies me that it has lost the connection with the visor and restarting the PC, Meta app, Steam, steam VR, doesn't solve. It's almost like it has to "warm up" or somrthing, because despite of what I do, it randomly begins to work, and than, I can have my session, even hours long.What I'd like to know is if it's a known problem, what it depends on, and if there is a fix.Edit: I'd like to add that I presently don't have a wi-fi connection, so I use my phone as hotspot. I don't think it's the problem, though.Thanks in advance for any opinion!

my laptop has rtx 3050 ti and the  app says that my computer cant use airlink due to compatibility problem is there any solution to this problem 

Hi everybody, I just bought a brand new meta quest 3.The right controller drain battery extremely quick I have tested to put new batteries and after the same time (controller stored not in use) the right controller have obviously consumed much more battery the the left one. I continued the test with other batteries brand and the result remain same. One other noticeable thing is that the right controller have on its bottom an area that become way hotter that the left one. When finally powering up with a brand new battery, it says that the battery is low and it is unable to update.The controller is unusable, no button react and tracking just don’t work. Can someone help me to figure this out ? I have tried to factory reset the controller it but noting happened. I also tried to remove battery, unpair-repair but nothing changed. thanks for your help 

My headset wont connect to my controllers. I tried reset and the white dots showed up but no connect. Then I did a factory reset and I'm stuck because its saying connect controllers but they don't connect and in the app show zero battery. They worked just fine last time I used it and what are the chances both controllers are broken? I take very good card of my headset. 

Up until about a week or so ago my quest 3s connected perfectly fine to my pc. No issues. I had a 3rd party link cable that charged and linked simultaneously. But about a week ago the cable just refused to connect and would keep connecting and then disconnecting immediately. At first I thought it was the cable had gone bad, but I bought a new one and had the same issues. So far I have uninstalled the meta app from the pc, updated my drivers, factory reset the headset itself, I made sure both the app and headset were updated to the newest versions, and so far nothing has worked. The weird thing is my previous link cable doesn't have this issue, and it is 3rd party as well. The only difference is that it doesn't charge simultaneously.

Hi Just spent whole day setting up quest 3nand I am about to give up...I have quest 3 and sucessfully paired in the Quest link. Then comes the setup and at pair in the horizon it hangs.. In the app hangs at  Looking for head set. Any help before I throw  this in the bin,,, ThanksEmil

so i had factory reset my headset to try and fix my controller drift like an idiot, which no didn't help, but now i cant even pair it with my meta account anymore. it just gives me the "couldn't pair with your headset" **bleep**.

It's on the latest firmware.  Meta Quest Link software was updated yesterday.  Haven't used it for a week.  Worked fine for several weeks. Tried it today and could not get it to link in spite of numerous headset and computer reboots.  Tried disconnecting headset, rebooting computer, rebooting headset, reconnecting headset, tried a couple of times -- no joy. Tried several different USB ports, tried a different cable (the official Meta cable), no luck. I guess a firmware or software update broke it, again. Mega frustrating.

I want to remove my meta account from headset which is no longer in use and i don't have the device too. please help me, how can i remove my delete the device from my account 

Hello,We are having trouble getting a 2nd profile onto our Oculus Quest 2. We have gone to Profiles and tried logging in to my son's instagram/meta account and we get the error that says "Your instagram account is in another account center with another meta account. You need to remove it from that account center before adding it to another".  My son unlinked his instagram acount from his facebook account and we still get this error.What are we doing wrong? when i try to link it to my pc with a cable it sometimes takes 10+ minutes sometimes doesnt connect at all sometimes it says pc disconnected while connecting or sometimes it connects but no app on the pc works i tried numerous different cables my drivers are updated the ap pis updated i tried redownloading everything its practically unplayable now it takes 2 to 3 hours to get it to working

Hi! I previously owned a Quest 3S and sold it. I now use a Quest 3 with the same Meta account. However, my profile still shows the 3S and I keep seeing a banner like “because of your Quest 3S purchase, 3 months free…”. I don’t see any option to remove the old 3S from my account.What’s the correct way to unlink the old headset and make sure the offers/subscriptions are applied to my Quest 3?Things I’ve tried: signing out/in, pairing the Quest 3 again.  Region: US. iPhone app user.  Thanks!

i have recently started playing with my quest 2 and trying to connect it to my gaming lap top:acer nitro v 15 ryzen 7000 geforce rtx 4060.every time i try to connect to the laptop for the desktop it says that my pc isn't compatible but my lap top meets or exceeds every spec requirement?not sure if i need to work around the issue by digging into the setting in vr or the settings on the laptop or maybe there is just something wrong with the code that needs to be adjusted or fixed. any suggestons?

Can anyone help?  I turn on my headset, gets the intro logo then it  goes dark. I can cast but it’s all dark. My controllers are vibrating about every five seconds as well. I tried restarting, factory reset, changing batteries, unpairing and repairing. Still nothing

I traded in my old headset meta quest 2 that was under warranty and got a 3s but my account still says I’m using the quest 2 so I’m not able to pair my 3s correctly.          In my account it shows that I have the quest 2 but I have no access to that headset anymore.  How do I get that off my account and be able to use my new one 

Just got a new meta quest 3s & I am able to connect and play some games, such as job simulator, but on other games like first encounter & gorilla tag, I am unable to get past the first screen, as it seems like the controllers won’t register, it shows me pushing the button, but doesn’t work. I have tried everything from factory resetting them, to changing the boundaries, to making sure I had good enough lighting, I’ve also changed the batteries and unpaired and paired them again.. open to any suggestions.. thanks in advance. 

I was wondering if any vr devs here have tried making a game based on a quiet place, just curious because my partner thought it would be a cool idea after watching the movie. I couldn't find anything online about any quiet place vr games or any games like that. so I thought I'd ask the one pplace know ill get some real answers.

I have just got an old DK2 headset to try and setup on my Windows 11 PC for Aces high flightsim.I followed  a setup guide to allow other devices access using the Meta Quest Link software and it all seems to work in that I can see a gray field but it says sensor not connected! Im assuming thats the Positional Tracker sensor which is connected but has not light on it. So I tried to setup the tracker in the Link software and got to the screen that shows three cables (HDMI, USB3 and USB2) but the small circles just keep circling and nothing happens. What have I done wrong? can this be fixed? 

so i brought new ques pro controllers and i have a quest 3S headset and i was wondering why it wasn’t pairing

My question is still not working with the Wi-fi and I tried my quest too and everything works on so I don't know what to do either I got a faulty one or something I need  help 

Help! Bought our meta quest 2 back in 2023. Opened it up 6 months later and its locked me out and I can't get back in.I get a message asking to go onto Meta.com/device, enter a code but the code its asking me to enter doesn't fit the rules of the code on the website which asks for a numbers based code ! ArgghI've set up a new Meta Horizon account and have tried to repair my occulus via the app but it won't let me do that either.Any advice?

Basically, I have not used my Headset for over a year and my Meta Account got suspended and permanently disabled, So I have made a secondary account. However, My oculus quest 2 is prompting me to enter a device code on http://www.meta.com/devices ( I am not sure if it has to be on the account originally paired with the oculus) but it does not work. My headset is up to date with Wi-Fi.The main problem that I am thinking about is that the headset is still linked to the suspended account and is demanding me to update status by entering the device code on the suspended account. And I cannot log into it as it just throws an error to contact support.i am not sure if I should do a factory reset as other people in the forums said that it’ll do nothing.Please help🙏

My left controller stopped vibrating in the middle of a song in Synth Riders. I replaced the battery, unpaired, re-paired, and tried again. In my menu, both controllers work fine. But in games (Tetris, Synth Riders) only one controller shows at a time. I did a song in Synth Riders and both worked perfectly but not when it returned to the menu. If I hit the trigger on the right, I get the pointer but the left one goes away. Same to switch to left.is this an easy fix? 

I recently got a Oculus Quest 1 from a friend, but he didn't reset it, so I did. However, now I am stuck since it wants me to enter a 5-digit pairing code into to the "Oculus App". Oculus App doesn't exist anymore and the (now) Meta Horizon doesn't have a way to insert that code. I also have the Meta Link, which recognizes the OQ1, but there is nothing I can do from this side and the OQ1 refuses to do anything else before I can enter that 5-digit code. No "maybe later" or "X" to skip.Is there a way to go around this issue? I would be very happy if someone can help me out with that :C
