Quest 3.Cant connect using usb-c link

Hi

Since two days ago I can't connect to my desktop using meta link usb-c. I can connect via wifi. And when I plug the usb-c cable I can surf the quest system file from the pc so I guess the cable is OK and the quest usb-c port is ok. But I have tried with different cables and other computers with the same result. I have done a factory reset in the quest 3 and same result. So, if i can see the the meta quest 3 files from the pc I guess there is no problem in the computers, cable or quest 3. Then what happens?

Since firmware v81.1034, I played for hours in racing simulation with pclink, and everything is still ok. I tried also others games, and everything is perfectly stable.

So I confirm the problem has been solved for me.

Mandateci un aggiornamento firmware anche per il nostro visore rift s forse cosi si risolverà anche per noi che non riusciamo a collegare più il visore con il pc via display port,spero che tra tutti voi di meta sappiate che visore sia il rift s perchè da molti messaggi scambiati in privato con il supporto meta penso che 80% di loro non conoscano il visore rift s,per il resto mi stanno aiutando e mi hanno consigliato vari tentativi anche se inutili per ora comunque apprezzo il gesto di voler aiutare grazie

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem.

I have a Quest 2. After doing the updates on the Meta Link App on the PC and ther updates on the Headset I can no longer use the Headset on the PC.

It was working one day and then the next, after the updates, it's not working at all.

Same here. PC link with the official Meta cable no longer works. It is no longer even seen by my PC, so I am not sure what to do

Today my PC windows has received an update, and meta quest link another. And again, PC Oculus link doesnt work. Its incredible 🤮

Very bad news for you.

It ok for me, since Meta helped me 2-3 weeks ago.

I have justed switched to win11 (I was on win10 until september).

All my softwares are uptodated (oculus, meta, quest) and win11 have all the updates.

Oh bad luck for you Daniel. This is typical Meta Quest experience with PC. Sometimes pairs, sometimes works, never consistently. Today it might work but in 2 days it will stop and will not work ever again. This is just piece of s*** type of hardware scam, sorry.

I finally got the link cable to work -- i used the meta horizon app on my phone click on settings top left - select devices - select your headset - select headset settings -select developer mode - and turn ON. Also go to advanced settings and turn off auto upload crash reports and public test channel. I hope it works for you.

literally no other apps ive ever used have ever consistently given me so much rage. I want to strangle whoever controls the funds for this app, or whoever's putting the devs on crunch time if they are, because surely the developers are capable of pushing out updates that don't completely brick the link, yes? a company funded by the richest man in the world and they cant make an app that consistently does what its made to do.
