I previously managed a business page linked to a separate email address. Recently, my Meta/Instagram account was compromised. An unauthorized party gained access and proceeded to change the account's email address, added a new phone number, and eventually linked their email to the Meta account while removing mine.Following this, it appears the account name may have been changed or the account itself deleted. When I attempt to log in using either the original email address or the new email/phone number associated with the account, I am redirected to Instagram's Can't log in page, with no further options or support available.I still have access to the original email account and have received multiple notifications confirming the unauthorized changes such as login attempts, email changes, and account access alerts. Despite having this documentation and proof of ownership, I have been unable to find any direct support contact or method through Meta or Instagram to report this issue o
I noticed that when you're in a world in the Meta Horizon App it will notify the user with a full screen message after around 100 seconds of user inactivity. Asking them if they want to continue exploring the world. Is there a way to increase this time-out duration? Since in my opinion 100 seconds is really fast for a time-out. It's annoying for a user in cases they're reading something, thinking about a strategy or playing some idle game with longer wait times. It would be great if this time-out time could be increased for all worlds by Meta or by a creator for their own worlds, perhaps with a max of 10 minutes.I've also encountered that a player automatically exited the game because of inactivity, not sure how long that took but way to quick IMO.Thanks.
Is there any way to transfer our world ownership to someone?
Has anyone figured out how to adjust the scale in Desktop Editor?I'm currently working on the Navigation section, but some of the buttons appear to be cut off.I've tried everything I can think of, including uninstalling and reinstalling the Desktop Editor, but no luck so far.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Hi everyone! Does anyone have a simple script they are willing to share for a slide? Or sledding down a hill on a tube? Or is there a tutorial that I've missed. I've checked youtube and can't seem to find what I'm looking for.
I have stumbled into an issue i dont have an easy fix for, i usually got around it by cloning the world, but i think there needs to be a better, more consistent solution. the issue im talking about is once in a blue moon my desktop editor starts freaking out and instead of updating the same script im making edits to, it creates .tmp files out of updated version and reverts the original file to old version. how do i fix or bypass that bug. ive tried deleting the tmp, deleting the original and saving the tmp as original file, but i want to get to the bottom of the issue.
I'm trying to import a lot of very large custom models, each of which have hundreds of sub-models. When I spawn a model by dragging it into the editor or by spawning it at runtime with a script, all of the sub-models are static by default (motion set to None). I need all the sub-models to be non-static (motion set to Animated) so that the rest of my scripts can finish setting them up and later animate them during gameplay. Is there any good way to accomplish this right now?Things I've tried:- Dragging the models into the world and editing them with the Hierarchy and Properties windows has two problems. First, when I spawn a model by dragging it into the world, about 20% of the submodels are randomly offset from the their correct positions. This is nondeterministic, different submodels are affected every time. Fixing each submodel is not practical when there would be a total of thousands of errors. Second, while I can multiselect all the submodels and set their Motion properties all to
Do you think we will be able to access horizon world on Ray Ban in the future? That would be huge if true
I attended the Horizon Summit the other day and heard that the MHCP will continue next year. I thought it would end this December. Can someone clarify whether Meta will continue to fund the MHCP in 2026?
So I either have a major glitch, or Horizon Worlds is totally screwed up? Seems others also having same issue. The last 6 days I have been having this issue, the object will just fall through the other object. I have created a world in VR and in Desktop, simply made the red object grabbale and with physics, and when it lands on table top, it just falls through to floor. It’s never done this before but now does this. Erase, do gain, same issue. Can anyone help with this or know if this is a bug in system?
Is there any full course you would like to recommend to learn typescript? I would love to improve.
I published my world on mobile, but it was released for VR instead. I had to try two or three times to get my world published as a mobile world.I hope it get fixed soon
I want to bring attention to an issue that’s becoming increasingly damaging to the integrity of Horizon Worlds. Some creators are using bots to inflate visits, player counts, and eligible hours. This practice doesn’t just undermine the platform’s fairness, it also has real financial consequences. Because monthly bonus payouts come from a shared pool, botted worlds directly reduce the potential earnings for honest creators who are working hard to build authentic engagement.Recently, some of the highest-ranking worlds have shown engagement patterns that appear inconsistent with normal player behavior. This suggests the issue isn’t isolated, it’s affecting top-performing games and distorting visibility across the platform.Epic Games recently took legal action against creators on their platform for similar behavior, recognizing how botting harms the creator ecosystem. Meta should consider a similar stance. These artificial boosts distort performance metrics, discourage genuine creators, and
Somebody is stealing my content, May I have a link to file a strike?
I saw that there are very few options in the Desktop Editor for FX particles. Is possible somehow to get more different FX particles (public assets don't have much at all) or author custom particles? Or do I need to roll out custom particle system using Typescript ?
Hi everyone,Are they the same? If so when will Horizon Engine be released for public?
Hello everyone,May I know when will I be transit to new creator portal?Thank youHave a good day
I just published my new world Horizon Infinity, and now I can't travel to or build in the world. It says, "Unable to travel: world contains features that aren't yet available to all ages and regions." I have the new AI NPC in the world, but other people can visit the published version.
Trying out the character builder and can't get any meshes to generate. Keep getting 'Cannot generate mesh' error. Anyone else having any luck? Maybe I'll again later.
Hello Everyone,I am having a problem with trying to create tshirts, and such for my world, The Zone. Is anyone willing to spare about 30 minutes (maybe less) to help me set up an NPC that roams aimlessly among a given area?Things I've tried with no success:Vidyuu's NPC Walking tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrGLeO-lvYs&t=278sOnline DocumentationPublic Asset Roaming NPCDesktop Editor GenAI code and actI'm fairly new to typescript and this is driving me crazy. But i feel like if someone shows me once, I can do it myself from there anytime I want to create a roaming NPC again. Please and thank you in advance. You would be saving my sanity
I am trying to get lag free input for my game for Horizion Worlds. In type script I am trying to get ray cast input taps and then move an object to that position or drag it where the cursor moves. However, there appears to be about 1/4th of a second lag no matter what I do. I have the script marked as local as suggested in the documentation but still there is a lag from the click on screen in Focus mode and when my actual object moves. Does anyone know what I'm missing here? The automatic cursor that is drawn is lag free, but the object that I trying to move with click lags behind. Here is the code using the sysEvents from one of the samples. Supposedly this should be running fully locally and therefore lag free, but it isn't. // Tracking Focused Interaction inputs this.connectLocalBroadcastEvent(hz.PlayerControls.onFocusedInteractionInputStarted, (data) => { const firstInteraction = data.
Im trying to use the NPC API but its not available to activate in my world's API settings. The npc module loads correctly in the Profit or Perish template but cant be added to any other world?
Dear everyone,When will I be transited to new creator portal? I got an email about creator portal transition last month.
I have an educational astronomy world with lots of activities. One of these is called the Star Cinema where players watch a six minute slide show with music and narration on the Milky Way. This works fine in VR, but in the mobile app it is repeatedly interrupted by the "Still exploring this world?" message, creating a frustrating experience. How do I give people a better experience on the mobile app?
