Im making a costume for halloween and the head has almost no visibilty. So I wanted to create a vr headset with my phone as a display and a designated vr camera outside the helmet to capture video and send it to my phone and give me the ability to see outside. any advice on how to pull this off?

My oculus quest 2 died so I plugged it in to the charger that came with it, waited 12 hrs and went to play it. There is a solid red light on but my oculus won't turn on. What's wrong

i want to now if there is any external module can be used for meta quest 3 for speeding rendering for 8k . i have someone who want to try it any help will be aprricaiated

i know in emuvr you can play lightgun games, but it also comes with all the other fluff with being a virtual room, and also its only compatible with retroarch. so no house of the dead 1 or jurassic park 2wondering if anyone ever made a thing that lets you just like...boot a game from the desktop and lets you shoot at the screen. like a VR sinden lightgun. idk how that would work exactly, but if one doesn't exist i'd be tempted to take a crack at making it in my spare time

Situation/Context:I am in a position where I work with multiple Meta Quest 3 VR-headsets (one at a time, but multiple lying around). Since I do not work alone these multiple Meta Quest 3's belong to a pool of VR-headsets, freely usable by anyone around.Problem:When having a Meta Quest 3 linked to a computer via the Meta Quest Link app (Air Link), a new connection with another Meta Quest 3 cannot be established — neither is it possible to have multiple VR-headsets connected at the same time, nor does a new connection (attempt) disconnect the current one.If a VR-headset is connected to some computer and not actively disconnected, it will try to connect to this very computer everytime both devices are turned on and connected to the same WiFi. If the paired VR-headset is now being used by someone else, who is not using the Air Link option, this very connection stays active. As a result the computer, which is still linked to the now-away-VR-headset, cannot be used with another VR-headset —

I'm experiencing a persistent issue trying to access my Meta account—the one I use with my headset. Every time I attempt to log in, I'm prompted for a 2-factor authentication (2FA) code (OTP), but I never receive the code on my phone, I don't have the recovery codes as well. I've exhausted all troubleshooting: attempting login from different devices, browsers, and networks. To rule out problems with my number, I tested receiving OTPs from other, non-Meta services, and those arrive instantly—so the issue is clearly on Meta's side. I even tried accessing my account via the account center with Facebook and Instagram, but still hit the same 2FA roadblock. What makes this even more frustrating is the lack of support: live chat appears to be gone, and posting here requires being logged in. How are users locked out supposed to get help? I had to make a brand new Meta account just to raise this issue. There needs to be an open channel for locked-out users who can’t get through 2FA. Please advi

Hi i currently own a rift S, and i am just wondering what the step forward would be, im mainly pcvr/sim and play games such as Beamng, assettoMy gtx 1080 wants to alr die but I won't let it. Im thinking about a 30 series like a 70 or a 80 I just want to know price, your opinions, and what would be the best step, My price point would be up to like 5-600 gbp, im fine with used i dont really care about condition.

Hello,I would like to discuss how inconvenient it is to have to uninstall the social media apps from my quest 2 headset. These include Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger. When I purchased my Quest 2, before it was overtaken by Meta, these apps did not come pre-installed. I do not and will never use my Quest Headset for social media. I strictly use it for gaming and work. Every week for several months I have been uninstalling these apps and yet they keep re-installing. Please give users the option to keep social media apps off our headsets. Or communicate that you will never give users this option, so that we can upgrade to a competitor.

Hello ! I want to install games on SideQuest, but when i plug my Meta Quest 2 into my PC, nothing happens, the headset is not detected. But my PC knows that he is connected because in the device manager there is "Quest 2 A2DP SNK".What is the solution ? 

First i start my quest 2 and my controleur is connected but dont have any tracking and never see it on the screen ( i unpair the left and right contrôleur and repair it with the phone app ) and still not working i need help :'( ps: only bouton working is the oculus one and the menu bouton3 days ago the controllers worked very well / an update and there it is no longer working TANKS META -_-

This is a brief tutorial on how to launch games in steam vr and not oculus when oculus forces a game to open in oculus instead of steam vr... pretty simple. This causes issues because you cant use stuff like OVR for streaming in oculus. Here is what you do1: Find games .Exe files-right click-properties-compatibility- (check box) run compatibility mode for (windows 7)- (check box) run this program as administrator2: Go to game library in steam- right click game- properties- General- (launch options)- Write "-openvr"3: Open oculus software4: Launch steam VR (not game just steam VR by itself)5: Launch game from vitual desktop (oculus one or steam vr version)6: Allow game to launch7: Profit 💲💲💲 I cant promise this will work for sure, but it has worked for me 🤷‍:female_sign:

hey so i’ve used a free trial for a game called “Toss” a while ago and decided to purchase the full game a day ago and i’ve gotten an error saying that my free trial has ended for the game and that I need to purchase the full game to play it, when i’ve already bought it. When I click the “Purchase” option it takes me to the “Toss” app store page where it says “Launch” and when I click it I get the error so I’m basically thrown into a loop so I am very confused. I’ve tried clearing my cache, and data on the game and reinstalled it too but the issue is persisting and I’ve used a free trial on another game and have had the same free trial issue. I am very confused on what to do should I refund since I basically got scammed and cannot play the game that I paid for?

Hi, so the issue I have is I can not set a stationary boundary anywhere after using the drawing one for a game. ( it would be the climbing game Climb 2 from META), meaning I am at risk of smashing into things in my room. No matter how many times I have tried to reset to stationary, in different areas the headset will not set one!! I have cleared the play space data, cleared the boundary data in settings, and nothing seems to be working. When I sit in my chair I can't set a stationary boundary, when I stand in my play space I can't set a stationary boundary, meaning my tracking is off as well. This is rendering the headset unplayable and quite frankly a health risk, ( I could smash into a wall without this feature!) As I say, I have looked and cant find any answer to this specific problem, but it wasn't an issue till I played a game made by oculus, the climbing one, which made me set a boundary/play space manually, and now it is stuck in this play space!!   When

Hi I bought my meta quest 2 in 2022 and I had beat saber free as a part of buying my headset. Yesterday I did a factory reset on my headset and now I went to download Beat Saber and it was asking me to actually pay for the game but I had it redeemed. I’m trying to find a way to solve this but can’t find the solution can someone please help me?

So Meta is not doing their job they have ai doing their job and I don't know if it's cuz they fired so many people or what's going on but to lock people out of their Oculus that they paid for and spent so much money on these different things in here where you guys are telling people that you're not going to investigate further and that you're going to keep my account disabled when I know I have done nothing wrong I have two Oculus a two and a three and I can't use either one of them and it's not fair that you guys would try to put a community guideline violation on someone and I know I did nothing wrong if you are going to say this to people then you should show people what it is that they did wrong and instead of reverting to somebody violated community guidelines because you guys can't figure out how to get somebody stuff back on them just be honest and say so and then you're telling me you're not going to give me my money back I have invested too much in this for you to not give me

I set up an instagram account for my son a few days ago, and linked it to my account centre...then all my profiles (my personal, and working account) changed the date of birth to my son's, who's a minor!!! I've already removed my son's account out of my account centre, but I still can't change my date of birth (says it's been changed recently so I have to wait, but it doesn't say how long!!) !! now my personal and working accounts are set to be private.... I need to change the date of birth ASAP!! please help!! 🙏🙏

Is there anyway that I can turn on the mic so I can hear my son while casting on my phone? 

There was an update to Meta Quest 3 on the 15th to version v79.1032 and from that moment on it is no longer possible to adjust the screen size of some applications and system screens, there is only the option to move these screens. Other applications only have the option to make the screen flatter.

Anyone having a continuous disconnect and reconnect issue with the link cable after this new update???? 

No option to install batman. It wants me to purchase It. The promotion says offer ends 12/31/2026
