So basically quest link (using a cable) worked yesterday perfectly fine, but today I tried to launch it and it gets stuck on a screen with a white meta logo, and never loads into the pcvr. I have a feeling this is something to do with the broken update they released a few days ago 78.1---. IF YOU HAVE A FIX PLEASE LET ME KNOW, I have to use VR for my job and this is making it so I can't work. 

After the automatic update that happened the day before yesterday, the Quest3 after turning on shows the meta logo and then goes black.I tried to update through the meta online update tool and it didn't work. I returned the Quest3 to factory defaults, it didn't work either.I tried to install the update again through the online tool and the problem persists.

It seems headsets now still are designed around either comfort (the MeganeX or Bigscreen Beyond), or for Price (the Quest 3S is a great example at a really low price) or clarity (like the Crystal Super or Varjo XR4). There are no extreme field of view headsets anymore like the StarVR One or the Pimax 8K. It seems fresnel lenses are dead, only the Playstation VR2 used it. But how would you design a VR headset? QLED or MOLED, which lenses? Focus on price, clarity or field of view, or comfort? PCVR or standalone?

I've had an issue since the beginning of the year where I can't redeem any referrals. For device referrals, it says I need to spend some credit first, and then it gets redeemed without me receiving anything. For game referrals, it just keeps loading and then throws an error. They don’t get redeemed at all. I currently only have 3 game referrals, but it's honestly really frustrating. Can someone help me with this? It's seriously annoying.

I just turn on my headset which is the Meta quest 3 and my store is in Canadian dollars instead of US dollars. It use to be US dollars. How do I change it back 

Since the new Brilliant update my Quest was doing wierd stuff. It Keeps Connecting, Disconnecting after multiple restarts it stops doing it BUT it also stopps Countercharging - I was on 50% when i turned it on and it drained to 0% while connected Via USB C PD port from my WIFI II Motherboard.I never had such issues this starts with the recent updates.It is charging now but very slowlyCan you please Roll Back this Update?I feel link it killed my battarie now. 

I'm trying to add a profile to our Quest 2 so we can play together with our Quest 3. However when I add an email to send a link to I can type in the email but the "send" button doesn't light up. Our original profile is connected for horizon+ so I don't want to make mine the main profile. How can I add profiles?

I just want to make sure noone else falls for this.My sister was playing gorilla tag when out of nowhere all the apps on her vr disappeared except one called "birthdayfarty". It had an all black icon with two white dots. Im assuming someone put that there hoping a little kid would click it and get their accounts stolen. Luckily my sister didn't click it.What i did to get rid of it was go into settings and delete the file then restart the vr. 

I have had the meta quest pro controllers since 2023 and they just started acting up a while back, recently they have been having a about 11 inch offset Infront of my face and when doing a 360 they try their best to stay in the place. But the thing is that I can still move it forwards and back it's just very inconvenient and very hard to do anything. If anyone knows a solution to fix this, I would be delighted if you could leave a reply. Thank you!

Am i able to redeem my US friend's referral link if i live in an unsupported country? (Brazil)I have a friend that lives in the US that plays VRChat with me (i'm on PC), and he said that if i bought a headset and set it up with his referral link we both would get some credit on the Meta Horizons Store, i bought a headset, and it arrived today, but i couldn't follow him because i live in Brazil and his referral link doesn't work, i've been searching for this information for about an hour with no satisfying answer so i made this post, i already activated my headset without it because it wasn't worth the hassle, but if it can help someone else with the same question then i'll be satisfied.

Hi,Can anyone tell me if they are seeing more than 6900mb of total ram if the available RAM graph is enabled using OVR Metric? I am unaware of any way to show the total RAM using the Quest 3 settings.I am having problems with my Quest 3 where some apps will not run at all, while others crash frequently and report that there is not enough RAM available when crashing or when attempting to run them.I installed the OVR metric tool, and it is showing 6900mb of total RAM, which does not make sense since the Quest 3 is supposed to have 8gb of RAM.At boot, my Quest 3 has about 60% of RAM already in use, leaving only 40% of 6900mb available for use by apps, about 2760mb. When I restart the headset, it starts in the same condition.I have factory reset my Quest 3, and the only app that is installed right now is OVR Metric, and there is no change in total or available RAM.Thanks for your help 

Hello, I've got a Quest 3 and today I received a head strap that has built in headphones. Amongst its other problems, the audio wasn't very loud, even when turned up to max. We have the same style headset from the same manufacturer on our Quest 2 and it's quite loud when on max volume.I tried a separate pair of headphones and connected via Bluetooth and they were loud (but then there's the latency issue).Connected to same pair to the Quest 3 using aux or USB C cables and it goes back to being quiet.I found someone in Reddit with instructions on how to reset the volume but it involves what looks like coding and I'm not sure I'm confident enough for that.I don't seem alone in having this issue according to a Google but I'm not seeing many solutions. Any ideas how to make the audio as loud as the Quest 2 or Quest 3 through Bluetooth, through the aux or USB C connections please?

 I have a Quest 3, and I think it will be the last meta hardware I buy in the future. It's unacceptable that they force us to use HORIZONS, and that we can't uninstall WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook (they reinstall themselves when I turn on the headset). It's unacceptable that they do this.

Will the Compact Charging Dock kit work with Xbox Edition and be in black, also anyway can get black Active Straps for the Xbox Edition? Basically,  any accessories coming for the Xbox Edition?

I have a meta quest 2, which about 2 months ago the mic stopped working. I went to do a factory reset which is when I realised the volume buttons are also not functioning either. I can adjust the volume in the settings and the buttons make feedback noise but do not seem to function. I have made sure I have the latest updated software. I have factory rest too but still not working. Wondering if anyone could help or has experienced the same? Thanks 

Battery keeps draining when it's off only when plugged in. Like it literally "drains the battery" to plug it in. Only way to charge it is to hold down power button for 30 seconds, then plug it in while it's on. And it'll charge... while it's on. As soon as I turn it off... battery just bleeds like water. Been this way for weeks now. Praying the v.78.1028 fixes this. Suuuper frustrating!! Though the v78.1028 update won't stick / keeps saying "software update needed" no matter how many times I do it. All the while the battery just dies if I plug it in... this is... crazy. Meta pleeeasse do better! Like this is WILD dude!! :(

My Oculus Go is no longer working properly. Let me explain:Everything seems to be functioning fine — the battery, charging, remote, and screen all work as expected.When I perform a reset, the Wi-Fi connection shows as excellent. The Oculus Go displays “Connected to Wi-Fi – Continue in the Oculus App.” However, when reaching the next step, the “Continue” button is greyed out, and the loading video spins endlessly, as shown in the photo below. I have no idea how to fix this.A factory reset has already been done.I’ve also tried exiting and rebooting the device, but the result is the same: the video won’t load, and the “Continue” button remains unavailable.Thank you for your help! 

We have a second META account that was suspended for that violates the code of conduct. There is a mention to request a review however we cannot access the account. How do we get the account reviewed?

While trying to readjust my headset i accidentally broke the two bits - the first plastic bit had already broken a while ago so i cant fix it anymore, recently the second bit also broke in half, i managed to tape it back together but honestly its hard to play on the vr now haha, does anyone know where i could get a replacement? if it's even possible :')

My kids just bought a headset yesterday and we keep running into problems. Is this just normal glitches for this thing? This is our first VR headset, but we use multiple game consoles so we're not tech illiterate.-kid account just doesn't work. They send a request to play a game, I allow it, it makes me go to a purchase page even though we've already downloaded the game and I've allowed app sharing on the device. I purchased it for free, and it still doesn't give kid access to game. I've allowed them to play up to Teen games and this is a teen game (swarm).-I let them play on my account and the game (swarm) just doesn't load when I click on it. It eventually just worked, but it took multiple tries with me turning the device on and off repeatedly.-library is often blank. we've downloaded three games from the horizon+ service and they don't show up.-menus regularly disappear, or only the little bar at the bottom appears but when I click on an icon it doesn't open up the window. I just got a new headset (meta quest 3) and it connects to the WiFi but when it reaches the update then it just restarts the headset. I’ve used multiple different networks, I’ve factory reset my headset, hard reset it and I tried to use the update tool but it doesn’t register the device. What do I do?

So the right controller of my quest 3s isn't tracking anymore. I got the headset recently, and already having problems with it. So, the controller is registered in the headset shows me its battery life and everything, you can even press buttons and it registered in the headset but it won't track it. I've never hit it on anything or nothing. So im confused why it wold stop working if I was literally just using it last night and it worked fine before I got off the headset. And its confusing because my left controller is tracking fine. but why not my right one?

My quest 2's controller's battery corroded and rusted the terminals, is there a way to repair, replace or fix these? thank you.
