Just got a very nice email from the company doing my PPI claim and they say that the credit card company have offered me a PARTIAL refund of £1063.15  :D B) I have to give them a 20% cut of that I think so I'll end up getting 800 quid or so.But that's just a partial refund lolThe email I got off them said that full refunds can be up to five times as much  :o So the question is do I take the easy way out with the 800 quid or so and get my dosh quicker or do I take the longer route and get more money.I don't know if I have the patience lol :D

I will assume that there are some folks out there who, like me, can't help thinking of a specific video game any time a certain song plays or a certain artist performs. I thought of this the other day while trying to listen to the album, Megadeth - Rust in Peace during a gym workout. I wanted to hear something fast and energetic to help keep me motivated. But all I saw in my head the entire time was... Final Fantasy 1 gamplay.And the reason is because that Megadeth album is all I listened to while playing Final Fantasy 1; in a constant loop while leveling up my characters. This was in 1990, and no amount of time has changed that fact.I have other similar experiences with music, but this is the only one that is video game related.Anyone else? Just me?

After installing latest Nvidia drivers i get message on desktop icon tray that the Nvidia Control panel is missing, i tried reinstalling drivers but nothing.What could cause that?Also noticed now Google Chrome is not saving password anymore.  I would turn my pc on and load up chrome and go on Facebook, youtube or twitter expecting to be logged in already but im signed out and settings not saved.Not sure if a recent windows update might of done something or i was using Oculus Debug tool around the time restart as administrator as i had trouble updating to V12

I have been looking for a way to add a signature, I see some users have them, can someone tell me how to get a signature set up? I have looked through the profile and settings and it says I don't have permission for a signature. 

I did have my oculus software in a windows 7 SSD drive but after the last update I get a message saying that win 7 will no longer be supported after a few more months so I decided to reformat the drive and put win 10 on it and that's where my problems started because after installing it I couldn't update win 10 and my GTX 1080 was not being detected so I couldn't install nvidia drivers but after a very long search on the net and a lot of hair pulling  I discovered I could download a windows 10 update tool from Microsoft web site and used that to update then I was able to install my nvidia drivers without a problem,Posted this just in case someone else has the same problem with windows 10https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/3159635/windows-10-update-assistant

No longer working! This was for the old forum.   Here's a mostly working version of a dark mode for this forum. It features the following: - generally dark theme for everything - posts by moderators are coloured orange - posts by oculus staff are coloured blue - avatars have been enlarged from 40x40 to 60x60 - emojis in posts are half size - quotes are coloured a dark cyan, increasing in brightness as they are stacked (quoted quotes, etc) - code blocks are a greeny colour - spoilers are a red-ish purple - in the edit box for a new post, you can now see where quotes are (previously they were invisible) - signatures are darkened so they don't look like normal post text - like, lol and awesome counts are yellow - the flag post button is red - announcement posts in the thread list page are coloured a dark greenish cyan   There are a few broken bits at the moment. Quick question. I have a Geforce 2080ti and wondered if updating your graphic drivers really makes such a huge difference to your fps? I ask because I have a 3D projector and since Nvidia decided to stop supporting Nvidia 3D, it has left me not being able to update to the current Nvida driver, unless I want to give up on 3D, which I don't want to do. Stability wise my drivers seem fine because I haven't had any crashing in the games I play, but I'm more interested to know if I will be losing out on higher fps? I did do a search and I saw that some people said the latest Geforce 2080ti drivers actually made their fps worse by 3 or 4 fps. So are we just talking about a few fps here and there or can a driver boost fps by say more then this? Really pished off that Nvidia has stopped supporting 3D.

I literally purchased a PlayStation for Red dead Redemption 2 yesterday and it's going back today. The Playstation controls really do suck when you are used to keyboard & mouse. What is it with RockStar that they can't just say if they intend bringing this game to the PC? I mean, why do some development teams choose to act all secretive about a game coming to the PC or not? When do you think we are most likely to hear something, or do you think it will just go the same way as the first Red dead Redemption and not arrive on the PC?I didn't get chance to see if Red dead Redemption 2 is better then Grand Theft Auto V, which I have on my PC. But for those that have played both games what do you reckon? I'm talking about comparing the games now not the Playstation controller v Keyboard & Mouse. I just want to get an idea what Read dead 2 is like compared to GTA V. I thought it looked a really good game, but didn't stay on it long enough because I'm useless with the Playstation contr

I would like to know from those that have experience with one or the other or both, for someone just getting into the >$500 quadcopter arena, which format should I get into if I do not have any aspirations to make money at aerial photography? I have searched and read a few of the many search results that came back about 1080P vs 4K but they all seemed to end with no definitive answers and resorted to complaints about two accounts/one person agreeing with themselves to make a point.The air ships I am considering all have the option of either with 4K obviously being more expensive and oft times just going that little bit above my proposed budget but not so much above that it couldn't be a possibility.
