I've noticed After updating my oculus that I can no longer multitask using audio. I have a sneaky suspicion that this was purposely done As I've seen, other tech companies do similar things, as in taken away Once enabled abilities of your product Through updates. This is extremely frustrating to the point where I made a thread Hoping somebody Could answer my question on why they disabled this multitasking feature. For example, if I'm playing poker and want to listen to Youtube Once I open Youtube and slide it to the side and try to resume my game that no longer can control it It takes my controls away from the game. Also, if I'm using big screen Beta and I get a phone call, it pauses my video and will not let me play the video unless I mute the sound in the video or hang up my phone call. So obviously this update took away the ability to multitask with audio.. The most exciting part was to multitask with my oculus. Now that I can no longer do it. My left controller keeps disconnecting and then connecting. when I play gorilla tag my controller keeps disconnecting when I’m moving 

I did a full reset of my Quest 3 headset (I need to change the owner). I got to the part where it says to continue in the Meta Horizon app. I created an account, registered, turned on Bluetooth, granted all permissions, and the app just froze. More specifically, the screen where you need to grant permissions and select the headset model. I can't scroll down and select the headset. I don't even know what to do; I tried reinstalling it, but it doesn't help. I can only click "Not Now" and exit. As a result, I can't activate the headset.

www meta devicekeeps saying that the Gmail is wrong. Which is not. Help me out 

I am disabled and need the mic to communicate and do speech to text. After the last headset software upgrade/update it has ceased working. completely. I have tried the troubleshooting and I do not have ant aftermarket parts or accessories that weren't on the headset when the mic was working fine. 

Meta quest 3S with gift voucher to buy games: my son bought and downloaded job simulator using gift card. Now we are unable to share it with any other users, even though app sharing is enabled. Anyone else experiencing this?

Worlds Desktop Editor has always been fine, but today when opening the app I had an update. Since the update I get a fatal error when trying to open the editor Failed to load il2cpp Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck. Has my head baffled Any fix for this? 

Hi I'm hoping to get some help on this topic but i bought brand new quest pro controllers not that long ago and they have barely been used haven't been banged but my left one stopped working after i put it on charge once I've tried everything I've tried updating the headset, unpairing the controller, letting the controllers battery drain fully pressing the buttons to reset it but it wont work fully I've checked and the controller will charge to its full capacity and it shows on the app on my phone that its connected to the headset but  when i look on like the first settings page on my VR it keeps showing the left controllers percentage like appearing and disappearing as if its connecting to the headset then disconnecting itself but at the same time the app on my phone shows that its paired and working with the headset and i don't think it would be the headset either because I've always been careful with the headset as well with the controllers so if someone from meta could help th

I’ve just bought a Quest 3s and am trying to set it up with no luck at all. When I try to connect to my WiFi it tells me password is incorrect even though I am 100% certain it’s right.I’ve tried factory resetting the headset, restarting router, connecting to my iPhone mobile hotspot (that won’t connect either) but nothing seems to help.I’ve tried to pair the headset with the Horizon app and it asks me to enter a code displayed in the headset but nothing is showing.Incredibly frustrating, can anyone provide any assistance?Many thanks in advance,Geoff

Please try again later or visit our help center The Help Center has a message saying “this page isn’t available right now”Rebooting the device and deleting and re-entering my payment info didn’t work. I reported an issue within the meta app but have not heard back. Please help me fix this!

ContextI use my virtual reality headset, a meta quest 3, and previously 3S, as a screen for my gaming laptop, and use it to have multiple computer screens to play video games on my laptop on.I use a software called Virtual Desktop, which gives me 3 computer screens in vr, which are connected to my gaming laptop, allowing me to see my computer in vr, up to 3 computer screens, and play PC video games.Note. NOT PCVR. I wanted to do the same thing, have computer screens and use my computer in vr, but in VRChat. My gaming laptop is not powerful enough for PCVR VRChat and PC video games at the same time, so i want to do it in standalone VRChat on meta quest 3thats where i am running into problems.1...   VRChat and Virtual Desktop can not run together. Opening one closes the other, in my meta quest 32...    the built-in Meta Remote Desktop works in VRChat, but the keyboard passthrough does not work, meaning i can not see my bluetooth keyboard and mouse in VRChat. I'm stuck on the "Pair your headset with the Meta Quest app to continue." step during the Meta Quest 3 setup. The smartphone app tells me to "Allow permissions", which I have already done. I have "Use precise location" enabled as well. Pressing the blue "Continue" button does nothing. The Meta Quest 3 button is greyed out. I have a code displayed in the headset that I'm supposed to input somewhere in this app. What do I do?My Meta Quest app is up to date. I have already installed all system updates on my smartphone. My smartphone and Meta Quest 3 are on the same WiFi network.See screenshots:

I have updated my quest 3 version some time ago and the new UI (not the navigator) stationary boundary (transparent bubble) is so nonsensetive. I need to get back to the old ui's stationary boundary (the blue circle).Thanks.

ok so i just wanna say that i use oculus/meta quest 2 and like when i try to uhh share my passthrough it just black so uhh my 2 friends one have a meta quest 2 he can share passthrough and my other friend have uhh meta quest 3s and he can share passthrought too so how i can share it

meta horizon link is saying my graphics card is incompatible when it should be compatible.i am using an AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT which came out after the minimum requirement for graphics card, which means it should be compatible. i suspect it may be because its too new but its displayed before that it is able to recognize it and expresses that it may be not powerful enough for a enjoyable vr experience, however whenever i try to connect it says it cant because the graphics card is incompatible.specs: meta quest 3s (vr headset), amd radeon RX 6500 xt (graphics card), 16 gb of ram (not graphics card), and using air link with a pc that uses ethernet.

Hi, my son has been happily playing on his Meta Quest 3 for a year and suddenly has been locked out of his account (which is a child’s account with me as the parent). When he enters his email, no code is sent and an error message appears on the Meta app. We have tried on multiple devices to no avail. There appears to be no suitable support or advice anywhere. Can anyone help or advise? TIA

With this update:You can’t pin apps to the bottom toolbaryou cannot have your library open and settings open at the same timeyou have fewer apps on the library screen because they are spaced obnoxiously far apartapps from unknown sources cannot be pinnedyou can’t find the screenshot and video record button by pressing the menu button in an appSometimes the quit app button doesn’t even appear when you press the menu button. Sometimes a tooltip pops up telling me that I can quit an app anytime, but the tooltip doesn’t go away and ironically prevents me from quitting the app.Opening the menu forces see-through to be dimmed.This UI redesign is worse than what Microsoft did to Skype. I have never wanted to smash a piece of hardware more than I have after dealing with the new UI.

We have 2 new tabs on our forum profile page: "under review" and "rejected". One of my posts(2 months old) was rejected - there was no reason for that, it was apparently done by mistake.......... it has now been approve. 🙃 The thing is, there wasn't any notification via PM - I know it used to be like that - that the post had been deleted..... I just noticed it by chance a few days ago. This hasn't just happened to me, so it's maybe a good idea for everyone to check their profile page for any mistakenly rejected posts and if so, contact one of the mods for reviewing those posts again.🙂    

Seriously, I don't know how you guys manage it, but literately EVERY TIME I put on my Quest 3, try to link to Steam and want to play a bit it takes more then half an hour to get it working, I get updates, on the controllers, on the headset, oh wait also on the Meta Link Quest on PC app and when in finally is done, the audio from Steam doesn't work, or the headset can't find the computer or the link won't work or, or, or......Now I'm not a hardcore gamer, I do it to relax sometimes, but I won't relax, I can't game for half an hour, I'm wrestling myself through a gazzlion unwanted options, main focus my Avatar, because it seems that my Avatar is THE MOST IMPORTANT thing in the Metaverse, new looks, new clothes, new something that seems to be really important, but you know what, I really don't care a single bit about that whole avatar/connect with friends/here's a mirror to see yourself stuff...Because I like to game for like half an hour before bedtime, but now I'm done with it, this is

Hello, I sent my headset back a month and a half ago and it shows delivered March 16 and Grapevine, Texas. I have an advanced replacement in process way back in March and nothing‘s been done. I’ve sent emails back-and-forth and just keep getting told we’re working on it. I have no faith that that is the actual reality even though it might be somebody’s, I just want the replacement headset that I am owed because y’all put a hold on my credit card as well as I pay a monthly payment to Meta #Warranty plus please help thank you.
