What I'm building

Hi everyone,I’ve been working on a small VR rhythm game called BeatGesture. It uses hand tracking and gestures instead of controllers, matching timing, hand shapes, and direction. If you’ve played other VR rhythm games, the core structure might feel familiar. But I wanted to explore what happens when you go all-in on hands as the primary input. The goal was to push gesture-based interaction further, rather than relying on controller-driven mechanics.  It feels less like hitting notes and more like performing choreography. If you're interested, here's the store page:  https://www.meta.com/en-gb/experiences/beatgesture/35694765943455719/Thanks!

Summary:Drone Core Command is a gesture-based pet combat game where players command their pet mech to take control of the battlefield.  Players can customize their loadout / mech abilities using 'drone cores', and will be able to repair their mechs after a battle back at their hub.   This first week of development focused on establishing viability for the concept and main features that will be used in combat.  Players can use their left hand to spawn a series of drone cores to pick from, and install them in their gun mounted on their right arm either for direct damage or mech targeting. Features:Inventory - players can gesture to open and select a drone core from their inventory to place in their arm gunArm gun - either a source of direct damage or targeting for the players pet droneMech stats - a display mounted on the player's inventory arm that will show the state of the mech and any selected drone cores being usedAutonomous vs Player assisted targeting

Dear Meta Product Team,I hope you are doing well.My name is Veeranna Angadi, and I would like to share a product idea that could significantly improve user experience across your platforms.Currently, users actively engage with both Facebook and Instagram, but they are still treated as separate ecosystems when it comes to social sharing. For example, if a user enjoys a reel on Facebook and wants to share it with their Instagram friends, the only available option is sharing via a link. This creates friction and reduces seamless engagement.Proposed Idea: Unified Social Graph & Cross-Platform SharingI propose introducing a feature that allows:Integration of Facebook friends and Instagram followers into a unified social layer (with user consent and privacy controls)Direct sharing of content (reels, posts, stories) across both platforms without needing external linksOptional “Cross-Platform Audience” selection while sharing contentSmart suggestions (e.g., “Share this reel with your Insta

Hi everyone,We’ve all heard the stat that 90% of startups fail. Most of the time, founders realize their idea isn't working far too late. I wanted to see if I could use AI to change that, so I built Startup Predictor. It’s an AI-powered decision engine that analyzes signals like funding level, founder experience, execution stage, and team size to provide a success probability score.I’m looking for some honest feedback from the community on my Startup Predictor.Check it out here: Startup PredictorI’m a student developer working on this to help founders make more data-driven decisions. If the community finds this useful, I’m planning to move forward with this startup to build a billion-dollar company. Thanks for your time and any feedback you can give!

Hi everyone! For a while now I've been working on a burr-puzzle  mechanic in VR, specifically for Meta Quest. I finally have a trailer and a playable and I want to share some initial thoughts:The game is called Interlocked: Puzzle Islands, and it's based on a Flash(!) and a mobile game mechanic I did a while back. The new game revisits this concept in VR with new visuals, a little story arc, and 30 licensed puzzles by burr puzzle designers from around the world. And I was lucky enough to ship the game to the Meta Quest Store along with the VR Games Showcase! It was awesome seeing it during the live stream. The main struggle at the moment is building a community around the game. I had to put future updates on hold (hand tracking, puzzles packs, etc.) until I figure this one out. I've been getting positive feedback overall, including a review from UploadVR, but it's hard to get traction in this niche for a single player game. I'm well aware discoverability is always a

Hi everyone,I’ve been experimenting with building small web tools recently just to practice and learn. One of the things I built is a simple browser-based counter that can be used to count clicks, track repetitions, or test clicking speed. You can check it here:https://thetallycounter.com/The goal was to keep it lightweight and simple so it works quickly on both desktop and mobile without needing to install anything.I’d really appreciate any feedback from other developers. Does the interface feel easy to use? Are there any features you think would make it better? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I'm s goofy mom wife that loves ❤️ to make others laugh 😃 f4f

I'm working on a Unity Mixed Reality Project with the MetaSDK, and Quest 3.  This project is designed for elementary education with interactive objects. Check it out: Mixed Reality Unity Project Video Demo

I’m currently building a Quest experience called Stringscape, and I wanted to share the core idea and get feedback from other developers here. The concept is simple:You stretch a glowing “string” between your two hands, and the world-space distance between them controls the pitch.Closer hands → higher pitchFarther apart → lower pitchThe experience is designed to be more of a creative playground than a structured music tool.I’d love to hear your thoughts. It’s currently in Early Access on Quest as well if anyone is curious to try it.Thanks!

Hi, I have been developing in Meta Horizon since 2020 and have learned UnityXR/MR.  I will graduate with a masters degree in Art and Technology in May 2026. For my final project I will be working on a Mixed Reality interaction for dyslexic learners with hand tracking. I will be applying for the smart glasses grant for accessibility.  I've been in education for the past 19 years, teaching students with dyslexia for the past ten years. This video shows my first test.  Link and image below.Mixed Reality Test, Quest 3: Mixed Reality Test, Unity and Meta SDK by Tina Wheeler

Hi everyone,I wanted to share a small VR project I’ve been working on as a solo developer.BlockView is a spatial perception–focused puzzle game built for Meta Quest. Each puzzle asks the player to place 3D blocks so that the shape matches top, front, back, and side silhouettes at the same time.My goal was to create a calm, focused puzzle that rewards careful thinking. From a development perspective, it was interesting to explore how players interpret multiple orthographic views in VR, and how small UI and interaction changes affected their spatial reasoning and comfort. Here are a few in-game screenshots. BlockView is now available on the Meta Quest Store: https://www.meta.com/en-gb/experiences/blockview/33062523903362946/ I’d love to hear any feedback.

Hey everyone, I wanted to share what I’m currently building and open it up for discussion. I’m developing NE9, also known as NastyEngine 9. It’s a modular, real-time runtime designed to integrate AI systems, 3D environments, and interactive applications into a single live pipeline. Alongside NE9, I’m building a companion app that interfaces directly with the runtime. The goal is to use it as a control and integration layer where scene logic, agents, and interaction can be composed and updated live instead of being locked into a traditional editor workflow. The core idea is to treat AI, rendering, networking, and interaction as runtime-orchestrated systems rather than isolated tools. This approach makes it easier to experiment, iterate, and eventually extend into XR and VR environments. This is an active build and the architecture is evolving quickly. I’ll be sharing progress, experiments, and lessons learned as things continue to come together. This screen

Hello devs 👋my name is Corey Reese. App Trailer I’m building Immersive Exposure, a VR-native creative sandbox that turns photography into an interactive, game-like experience inside VR.Instead of just watching tutorials or shooting static scenes, users step inside environments, control virtual cameras, lighting, and lenses, and photograph dynamic subjects in real time. The core idea is simple:Photography as play, exploration, and mastery not passive learning.Current focusRefining spatial interaction and camera feel so it’s intuitive for both creators and casual VR users. Adding mixed reality support, allowing users to practice with virtual models and lighting in their real spaces.Expanding NPC systems with AI so characters can respond, pose, and interact with voice commands.Designing repeatable engagement loops (photo challenges, exploration goals, unlockable environments).Right now we are fine tuning the camera UX so the camera controls feel good and respond as close to a re

Our PAO-XR startup helps to settle associations between the end-user body gestures language and switching different types of full-body avatar movements animations. All associations are stored in the end-user's personal DB on his mobile or desktop device. So entire on-line interaction between the end-user and his avatar demands only a MOCAP device like Meta Quest 3 ( in spite of absence low-body MOCAP)  and a standard mobile device. To implement the pilot project, we are seeking partners with developers of their own virtual simulations, focusing on full-bodied avatars controlled by end users (players) using the Meta Quest 3 suite, including mobile apps. For these interested developers, we are willing to invest in the implementation of our technology in their applications. For more details, please see our promo demo  on our PAO-XR.COM website.

How cool would it be to have an Andromeda VR game based upon the series?

I've done a lot of rendering and model building, specifically homes and kitchens with Blender. I am trying to import a .fbx file.  I started with a complete foundation  that included booleans to the walls.  While in Blender I applied the boolean and exported only the selected foundation. I imported really funky.  So, I decided to simplify and import a single wall with an applied boolean for a window.  It imported in with planes on the front and back of the boolean location.  The boolean cube extended past both sides and top of the wall in Blender. And, the Normals were good.  What am I missing?

I just launched Episode 1 of a new video series where I’m building a Social VR game from scratch — live, in public, and together with the community. The project is called Baby VR:a chaotic, social VR playground where players embody babies with Gorilla-Tag-style locomotion, tiny legs, and big personalities. In this first episode, I break down the 4-step process I use to start any VR project:Ideation — finding a spark worth buildingValidation — checking the market before writing codeForever-Updatable Test — designing for longevityRealistic Scope — defining an MVP you can actually shipThis same process applies whether you’re building your first VR prototype or scaling a social experience. What makes this series different:👉 It’s community-driven. Viewers help decide the game modes, mechanics, and even the first map — and their ideas may ship into the real game.If you’re working in VR / XR / game development, or curious how social VR titles are actually planned and scoped, I think you’ll find

Hi. I wanted to learn VR development with Godot, so I made a game. It's now available in early access on the store: https://www.meta.com/experiences/astro-penguin/26528380586799517/ You can fly around as a penguin astronaut and go swimming as well. What do you think? There are also wrist rockets for flying!

My eldest brother will be 80 next year and he is suffering from dementia, such that he is struggling to recognise faces, even of his own family, can the glasses be adapted to store images of the faces of people he regularly interacts with so that when it recognises the person he can be advised of their name discreetly in his ear, it could also be used for things like combination locks of a door when the door is approached he is advised of the number which he frequently forgets et cetera – the list is endless. I’m not sure if this is the right forum to get the idea to those that would consider it, if not, perhaps somebody would guide me towards that– thank you – Peter

Hello new dev forum :)I'm working on a project that uses the DepthAPI to map your space in real time (instead of relying on room setup) to decrease setup friction, lower time-to-fun, and increase playspsace area. Because the game scans as you play, it responds to opening/closing doors, moving furniture, and other changes to the environment. I'm also using depth for drawing light against the environment. It looks really nice in dimly lit areas. I'm currently working on meshing so I can use it with Unity's NPC pathfinding. I'll be posting updates this thread. You can learn more and download the game at https://anagly.ph
