    That is very annoying. I notice from the post that you tried a restart and a reboot. Did you try a factory reset ?

    Well, they accused Meta of "deliberately and maliciously breaking my property" 🙄.

      I believe that post was slightly misinformed. meta aren't capable of doing anything deliberate and malicious.  They can't roll out a working update to it's users. Sounds more like ineptness than anything deliberate.

  • I also noticed that post was locked as I was going to add a reply that I was seeing the same but couldn't.

    It looks like a few people this week with the exact same issue, that locked post, and mine here Quest 3 stuck and unable to complete boot

    potentially this one too but can't be sure as the OP didn't provide a lot of details Screen freezing when I turn on my headset

    The only reply on any of them from support so far is to the last one saying to use the software update tool which didn't help me.

    Edit: and another one here with the exact same symptoms but this time using the PTC v81 (for reference I am not in the PTC and am using v79, I have also tried reflashing v79 multiple times using the software update tool without resolving the issue)

  • Maybe it was closed by mistake??

    I've seen this happen in other threads as well. Usually, the mods just reopen the thread if you inform them.
