Just downloaded remote desktop. It says I need mac os 14. I'm running os 12 Monterey. Is there an older version of remote desk top that will work with my current os?

What’s up with 78.1028? I can’t get my MQ3S to update. It tries to download, oddly wants to restart to apply update at the 90% mark, restarts, and then does that again, and again, and again, and again, and again…and now it’s like 1000-degrees of heat…and trying again, and again. What’s up Meta? Relying on interns and AI pair programmers again?

This happens with both the left and right hand controllers. It works completely fine with absolutely no issues outside of most VR games as well as the Steam VR Desktop. The problem arises in certain Roblox games, FNAF Help Wanted, and several others. It'll function for a bit and then out of nowhere completely stop. The hand will freeze in place and lose tracking altogether, sometimes it's one hand, other times it's two. Sometimes the visor will blink into a black screen over and over while the game runs in the background. Tabbing out will remove the problem entirely, it'll resume after tabbing back in. It usually stops after around 30 seconds to a minute, then comes back after about as long. It's not caused by any specific movements, often we're doing absolutely nothing and it just breaks. Obviously, none of the copy-and-paste solutions work. Enabling and disabling motion tracking and hand tracking doesn't work. Changing the batteries has not worked, we've done that many times already.

Can't say exactly when this happened, but OS versions beginning with 6 definitely didn't do this.The problem is that connecting my quest 3 to a USB 3.1 port on my motherboard will create a software VIA LABS USB3 hub with one port, into which a software VIA LABS USB 2 hub will appear with 4 ports and the quest 3 will be connected to ports 1 and 2 of this new fictional hub which of course limits me to USB 2 bandwidth.These hubs have hardware IDs identifying VIA LABS but draw and supply no power. There are NO hardware VIA devices in this PC.This is an annoyance obviously and impacts the available resolution due to artificially constrained bandwidth.Additionally if I disable or uninstall these "devices" the quest will not connect to the PC at all until the PC is restarted at which point the two VIA hubs magically reappear and I'm once again stuck. If I move the USB A end of the cable to another port the VIA hub simply moves with it.Any ideas anyone?

I bought elite strap. Had to remove the faceplate to get the new strap on but now the right side of the faceplate button depth adjustment won't lock.Any advice?

When I go to set OpenXR on standard, nothing happens. And I have been doing stuff inte he registry and a lots more, but nothing seems to work. I am drowning in desperate need of help. Because I want to play my steamVR games but I can’t. And when I play without OpenXR on standard which I can’t put it on it just lag and crashes. So my 100€ went to waste. I spent 100€ on games I can’t even play. Well done, well done. Pls help me as quickly as possible!

I recently bought three games on Steam to play on my Quest 2, but unfortunately, they aren't working. I try opening Steam VR and going home, but it always crashes. Then I tried to use Pavlov Vr: It works for a little then suddenly crashes every time it appears like lines throughout the screen and completely freezes. Also, when opening Pavlov, a notification appears saying, "Oculus HMDs should use Oculus open XR runtime," but when I check the Oculus app, I see the button but can't press it I have no idea what is the problem please help.

I have a meta 3s vr headset, but my headset won't turn on. I haven't been on it in a few weeks, but it was just working fine. no water has touched it, nothing got into it, and it was fully charged. but every time I press the on button the white light turns on it just doesn't stay on for long, I thought to hold the power button but it just kept blinking, after a few more tries the light barley comes on now, when I charge it the orange light doesn't even work, it won't charge, it's just pitch black, there's no air, nothing. it won't turn on and nothings working. please help me.

 Hi there. I would like to report about the so often inconvenient power system in the oculus quest 2 (something that with software updates varies from time to time). This is a reflection based on 3 years of experience and I want to stress it because it affects directly users and makes VR more inconveniet yet.I have 2 headsets, one since 3 years ago, I use them a lot... I remember my mother  complaining years ago ("...everytime I want to use it, there is no battery!")When you want it to power off this happens:1- If you want to power off selecting the option in the screen menu the device 99% of the times tells you there's an update and you need to plug it. (?) (This is inconvenient if you wish to storage them right away). Worse is that too many times after the update they swith on by themselves or they don't swith off as they should, not sure but the result is that you have no battery left when you reach to the headset.2-Since about a year ago you an option for "cancel and turn

Have tried all the trouble shooting and won’t turn on. No light for power. 3 days old and was working fine the last 3 days. 

I've tried to update my meta to th newseted one but it doesn't let me and also I can't join or start meta calls as it says error and kicks me off the call after I try I got it worked yesterday somehow but I can't replicate it someone please help

When I tried to charge my oculus it shows the meta logo and when it starts, it immediately turns off without me doing anything. Then, it turns back on and keeps doing the loop over and over again. When I take off the charger. It just magically dies. I tried to factory reset the oculus and it only goes black for a few seconds and continues the loop.

My quest three was blowing air until I looked up some forum to help but unfortunately they weren’t working. I tried to hard reboot but nothing popped up on my screen when I did. Can somebody help me with this please!

Has anyone purchased a Gorilla Tag meta gift card in the USA and been able to use it in Canada? Or is it region locked? We are visiting the states and I would like to purchase one to use back home. 

Hey everyone. I am new to the Meta Quest 3s. I had a 3 but thought it was busted. I ended up getting the 3s for free and wanted to try VR again. I followed all the instructions to set it up. When I went to launch a game on my PC (Phasmophobia) , it would launch on my desktop and in my headset I will see the purple/orange grid back ground and it will say the game name and the words "Next up" under it. I have a Ryzen 7 5700X,32 GB of RAM, and an RTX 2080. My specs are decent enough to run a lot of games. I have tried to mess with settings, force the game to launch in VR, even uninstall any VR stuff, and reinstall. I would do my windows, but I don't think that would solve anything. I am using AirLink as well. On my old headset, I had a cable too. Never worked. I know it's got to be something with my computer. If there is anything anyone can do to help me, that would be great. Hi All,I'm trying to start my meta quest+ subscription, which requires payment method to be added to horizon account. I've tried adding multiple credit cards and a paypal account, but none of it is working with "error while adding your payment method". I believe quest cash doesn't work in my geography.Could someone please suggest how can I payment details to start quest+ subscription? Thanks in advance!

I run VR mainly for sim racing, my pc can run VR with the sim at a solid 120 fps and I have zero issues yet sometimes I'll get a total screen freeze and lock up for a second or two before everything goes back to normal, its been happening ever since I had my Quest 2 (currently have a Quest 3) and as you can imagine its completely game breaking.I've spent so long trying to figure out the cause and recently learnt to use event manager, I've just had another small screen freeze playing a different game and when I went to the event manager I'm getting spammed the message ... 'Session "OculusVadApoEventTrace" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035'   My Quest isn't plugged in or turned on.How do I fix this?

the game only downloads 300mb i click into the game i get stuck waiting in the loading screen i use meta quest 2 does anyone know my problem 

Hello there! I have an issue with the unknown sources on my headset. I have a Quest 3s that is enrolled in the Public Test Channel (PTC), and almost every time I update/restart my headset, the "Unknown Sources" tab disappears in the Navigator UI. I already know how to make my unknown sources re-appear, but it gets quite annoying when I have to do it every time I restart. Is this just a standard bug that comes with all PTC updates, or is it fixable?

We had a instagram page by the name gogoa, which has been abruptly suspended. We are unable to restore the same. It had about 8K followers. If there is anyone who can help us to restore the account, will be highly appreciated

I need help figuring out why I'm having unauthorized payments to oculus Menlo Park CA I have no subscriptions within my Oculus Rift yet I am paying $30.73 Every month starting from December 30th all the way up to May 30th I do not know why I am getting these payments charged on my credit card I believe there are some form of subscription that I cannot find on my oculus itself or on the actual website but with them always being $30.73 That sounds like a payment to subscription but here's the thing when I look at my billing within my credit card statements it would say oculus then a whole string of letters and a few numbers they all end with D2 and then it would say Menlo Park I have tried to look up information and the closest thing I can find Is that I maybe being charged by Facebook in the total of a $184.38 I do not know what to do i've even tried to talk to my card people and they will not give me anything to help me figure out why I am being charged for all this I've even told them
