Since I switched from Quest2 to Quest3S, the sound quality of my microphone has worsened when streaming VRChat using Virtual Desktop. My friends tell me that my voice sounds distorted and unclear, which was not an issue on Quest2. I also tried streaming with Steam Link, which had a slight improvement in audio quality compared to Virtual Desktop, but the sound quality is still poor. Today, I will try using Air Link. It seems that only the audio quality in VRChat is very poor; the microphone quality is normal during screen recording. Is this a system issue or a bug in the VRChat game?

I have been doing everything I can think of to make this work.  Most recently I did a deep uninstall using RevoUninstall of the Oculus program (which includes all registry entries) and re installed a clean copy.  I used the NVidia developer clean up tool and then re installed the latest driver.  I may have paired it wirelessly using the headset internal software, but it sees the computer name, but does not apparently connect with it.  Now I get a screen with personality icons, which I can isolate with the mouse, but it does not select it or move off of that screen, the same sort of problem as with the connection screen which I have provided to you.  Previously I got to the connect screen with the wireless or direct link boxes.  Nothing happened with either box was selected and highlighted.  The system just stayed on the same screen.  Again, everything suggested by store support was tried to no avail.

Hi, I have tried the horizon app, on the settings of the meta quest 3s, on the website on my pc to add a payment method. Everytime is says "sorry payment can not be added". I have restarted apps, logged out and back in, got off the wifi then back on. Everything but nothing is working. Quest link only results in constant loading screens, using a quest 2 and a ryzen 5 and 3060, 16gb 3200mhz ram, have repaired the quest link app multiple times, updated to the latest version. this has rendered my headset useless. 

Hi so I have a friend who just got a new WiFi router and was able to connect there pc, phone to the new WiFi but for some reason the Quest 3 wasn’t able to connect it would give them save password try again even though they can see it’s connected and the singel says it strong, we try everything reatarting headset, factory reset, change password, unconnected and reconnected the WiFi, we still can’t get it to fully connect please help

A friend gave me a referral link, which I accepted. I opened an account and set up my new Meta Quest 3S but nothing happened. I wrote to Meta twice but no reply.I then reset my 3S to factory settings. Again clicked on the referral link which took me to the Meta website and I opened a new Meta account, linked the Quest 3S again but again, nothing happened.What do I need to do to get me and my friend a referral 30 euro?

I saw the meta forums post about 8 ish months ago, and was wondering if they were made compatible yet, or if there is a way to do it yourself.ive seen the updates happen for the quest 2, which is a headset that is older than the quest pro; but for some reason was not made available for the quest 3s anytime around launch while the 3 got the update fairly quickly; if not made standard for the quest 3... anyone have ANY updates on anything about it? i cant find a thing.

I was playing on my Quest Pro until the display screen started to move on its own and then it went black.. It then mentioned that "my vr is having trouble tracking"  It gave me the option to click on "Continue" without tracking. But it wouldn't let me click on continue at all because the screen display kept turning away from me. So I tried to power it off and power it back on. But then it started blinking on and off over and over. So then, I tried to do a factory reset. But not even that worked. I selected Factory Reset, it continued to turn on and off over again.The VR's light indicator will stay a solid white then it would turn off automatically, blink a red light for a split second, then turn back on again...Then it would repeat that process over and over...Anyone having this issue? Anyone found a solution? This is a fresh Quest Pro too.I really don't want to have to send it off again...

im not sure what happened to my Meta Quest 3s but i had stpped playing for only a few days and now all of the apps i downloaded have dissapeared in a file labled "unknown sources". The main game i play, Vr Chat, will load in then claim i can't play the game because it isn't in my app library. If anyone knows why this is happening or how to fix it, please let me know! 

Not able to to boot I tried hard boot and factory reset but nothing working still black screen don’t know what to do considering sending it back to get a replacement. I did watch it for like 8 hours but let it rest for like three hours   

The right speaker on my quest 2 stopped working. Bluetooth and wired headphones still work. I have no reason to believe there is physical damage to the headset so I wanted to ask here to see if anyone had a fix before I take it somewhere for repairs.I have tried:Adjusting audio balance in the accessibilities menuTurning it off and back onDownloading the latest software updateFactory resetting the deviceThanks for any help.

Hello, unfortunately nothing has been working reliably with the Quest 3 for some time now. The problem with Quest Link on the PC, the loading bug, the updates that are not installed - which they don't have to be because everything is up to date. Now you would think that a hard reset would solve the problem. But far from it, because even a multiple reset doesn't change anything. This help forum has also been changed in such a way that foreign language users are now more or less excluded, and helpful posts that were written a few weeks ago have disappeared. Quest 3 started well, why are you now ruining everything with stupid and faulty updates? Is the fear of the overpriced 🍎 so great that you're ruining everything you've achieved? That's how you go from bread to crumbs! Unfortunately very disappointing Meta, I hope for improvement so that you can enjoy VR again.

Bought my son a gift card for shinny rocks for gorilla tag. His mom redeemed then to her account since he has a kids account. Can't figure out how to get the redeemed shinny rocks to his account. 

I havent logged back into my Quest 2 in a while but I recently wanted to jump in with a friend but when I try to get in it says log in with another device on meta.com/device but I no longer have acces to the email on the account what do I do.

Hi everyone,I’m experiencing a persistent passthrough distortion issue on my Quest 3 that started immediately after casting. Here’s a summary of what’s happening:Symptoms: Controllers and hands appear tiny in passthrough.Floor grid looks squished/compressed and sits at the wrong height.Cannot properly set floor level—boundary calibration seems broken.Issue is only present in passthrough or mixed reality.Everything looks normal in VR games (no tracking issues).Troubleshooting I’ve already done:Cleared Guardian boundary history.Fully rebooted the headset (multiple times).Re-set Guardian in a clean, well-lit area.Let the headset idle in passthrough to force recalibration.Factory reset via both the settings menu and bootloader.Attempted firmware update (was already up to date).Verified the issue persists without casting.Confirmed tracking and controller alignment are perfect in VR. 

Hi,When I record/capture video of the Meta Quest 3 Wi-Fi settings menu, the capture is 'blacked out' where the Wi-Fi settings are.I can see them perfectly in VR, but the recording shows up like this: I'm trying to create a video tutorial that talks about these settings menu's.Have tried, MQDH record, MQDH cast 2.0 recording, native headset recording.There is an app called QuickShortcutMaker which I've tried, and it kind of works, but can't display the full menu, just a compressed view which is missing some of the settings I'd like to show in my video.  THIS YOUTUBE VIDEO covers how to do that.I've noticed, the direct 'both eye' output in the MQDH does record those settings menu perfectly, so the information is there, but capturing this and then cropping to 16:9 results in a very low quality video, even at max recording/bitrate settings.Does anyone know how I'd go about recording these settings menus in a high resolution?  A MQDH setting, or third party app maybe?Any help

Hi there, I just received my brand spankin new Meta Quest 3 VR headset but upon logging into Meta Horizon app it only shows a 1 month trial as opposed to the 3 month trial, have I missed out or something and do I still get Batman game free too? 

I imagine this is a bit of a long shot, but I missed the headline that oculus accounts were getting deleted. I am wondering if there is a chance for an old account to get salvaged. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. 

As you can see the battery contact on the right controller somehow moved down a bit and when I put in a battery it doesn't touch it so the controller doesn't receive power and doesn't work, atleast that's what I think is happening.I don't want to pull the contact back up cause I am scared I will break it even more but if there is nothing else I can do than I will try it.Does anyone know how to fix it?

Specs: CPU: Intel i5-13600KFGPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XTWhile playing on PCVR with my Quest 3, I've been experiencing some weird artifacting issues while playing. They don't appear immediately, but start appearing after around 25-40 minutes of playing. They start on the edges but then quickly take over the entire screen. Unplugging and replugging back in the headset fixes them, but obviously, this solution is not optimal for games that might run into issues with me doing this. Has anyone experienced something like this? 

I unknowingly enabled two-factor authentication on my quest account. Now I need a second level of authentication when I log in, but I don't know what it is. Now I can't log in. I don't know how to solve it. I can't contact META official customer service. I contacted someone who seemed to be official but they ignored me. How should I solve this problem urgently?  

hi I looked up headset not making sound on here and tried some of the solutions but nothing worked so I turned to factory reset but even then it wouldn’t work so I’m lost if you have a solution please id love to hear I can’t play my favorite games unless I use my phone link

i had quest 1 with many games on it while back now i got quest 3 and can't access my account when i put my meta email and pw it get to the part where it asks for phone verification and it says that i requested too many times and i try again later even though i didnt try many times at all not even twice i waited a while day and same issue and i cant log in
