Since v74, the stationary boundary has changed. Instead of a blue circle on the floor, there is now a white boundary, which, however, barely detects when you leave the play area. This makes many games unplayable (for me and many other people, see numerous Reddit posts). Is there a way to reactivate the old blue stationary boundary?

I’m about to buy the quest 3s, but I’d like to link it to my oculus account so I can access all my games from my original quest. However, i wasn’t able to update my oculus account to a meta one, so now they both share the same email. How can I make sure all the games I’ve already purchased make their way to my new 3s? thanks!

I'm trying to contact support due to some headstrap battery issues but whenever I try to open a ticket it asks me beforehad for the SN. I introduce the number and it tells me that they couldn't find it. Also in my meta account on PC it says that I don't have  any devices registered but I can see them on my phone just fine. I have a rift cv1 and a quest 3.

Got another lock state here. Initially started as not being able to track. Cleaned off all sensors, sat in a well lit room with no direct sunlight, no respective surfaces, and still didn't work. Followed that up with a factory reset that didn't seem to help. Now powers on, gives the logo, then goes to black screen. Go to look at device settings and "lock state: locked". Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

This threat is not about what is better or worse. I just would like to know, what it was like for you to use the Rift S for the first time and what memories you have about it. When i got the Rift S i was blown away by the visual clarity in comparison to the Rift CV1 and how easy it was to set up. Also i got it after they fixed the tracking, which was increadibly good for not needing any external equipment. That were good times 🙂 

battery wont charge past 1% thinking about either shooting it or selling it and going with a competing brand if it doesnt work today. im using type c to c on a wall outlet with no other 3rd party equipment attached. I paid 500 dollars for your dollar store tech and it shouldnt fail this easy with no guaranteed warranty. 

I am experiencing a perplexing issue where my Meta Quest 3's IPD randomly shifts.I have updated my Quest 3 to v78 via the official stable release channel, not the Public Test Channel (PTC). Despite not touching the IPD dial, the display frequently shows "min" for the IPD, appearing randomly every 5 minutes to an hour. This occurs even though I haven't set it to the minimum value or manipulated the dial.When "min" appears, if I adjust the dial even slightly, it immediately returns to my correctly set IPD of 61mm. However, after another random period, "min" reappears on the display.I've seen reports of this issue on Reddit, suggesting it might not be an isolated problem specific to my device. The other user who reported this also confirmed they were on the official stable update, not the PTC.

Hello, everyone. We are a VR development company providing business services, and we recently developed and delivered content that combines a real physical pump with the Meta Quest 3’s mixed reality (MR) technology at the request of a client. However, we encountered an issue: even though we enabled the room boundary setting, the virtual model drifts during the MR experience.We were wondering if there is a way to have the model automatically return to its original, intended position when this happens. If it’s just a virtual model, the drift isn’t noticeable, but when overlaying onto a physical object, any misalignment creates a noticeable gap between the real and virtual, which negatively impacts the user experience.Does anyone have a solution or suggestions for this issue?

Hello,I lost the guardian/boundary during a game. Rebooted with no luck, factory reset no luck either. I was playing on my meta quest 2 with no problems yesterday, but today my right controller randomly stopped working. I took the battery out of my left controller which i knew was working and put it in my right controller but it still did not turn on. I have tried repairing it and everything but nothing worked

I hope this is the right place for this. My idea is of a gaze-based keyboard passthrough that shows my real keyboard when I look down, then hides it when I look up.It would work something like this: When I glance down right at my keyboard a passthrough window pops up showing my real keyboard and hands (maybe with opacity setting?). And when I look away it fades out, keeping me in VR. Since the Q3 and newer all have forward facing cameras I'm thinking it could work somehow maybe. It would make typing in VR games or apps easier without affecting immersion much. Could this be a Horizon OS feature? 

I have a meta quest but I went to go factory reset it but a purple light pops up all the time I try to use it I was seeing if you guys can help

my VR is stuck in a state which he is powered on and sound is coming out of the headset but i can only see a slight light coming through.does anyone know a way to solve this?, i tried everything the USB menu did not work pressing the on/off button did not do much.if you have found a way to fix this please tell me

So recently I was on the meta quest app looking for new free games and I purchased a big number of games and the next time I put on my meta quest they were downloading but I canceled them. But they kept reinstalling themselves, I canceled all the downloads and tried downloading just one of those games but instead in started redownloading the group of games I had purchased on the meta quest app. I don't know what to do and it's taking up space on my Meta Quest 3, please help.

I attempted to log into my instagram on my iPad while on vacation in punta cana, although it allowed me to log in it never fully loads my feed or anything. Not even the settings it just says technical error. I tried to go back to using my iPhone but then the same issue began occurring there. Ive deleted the app, reinstalled my phone, done all the trouble shooting one can thing of. It just prompts me to change my password over and over again. It’s gotten to the point to now it doesn’t even text me a verification code even though it says it sent one. Please help. 

My Meta Horizon account has been hacked. The attacker changed my password, and now I am unable to log in or secure the account. The hacker also linked a fake Instagram account to my Account Center and then disabled it. As a result, my Meta Horizon account has been suspended, and I currently have no access or way to recover or secure it.

I am still having issues buying meta coins ,having issue using my meta gift card, and having purchasing errors with the meta coins I have. This has been going on for about 1 month and they said it was fixed and still bot working. Why can't i use the coins I have already and why can't I buy apps  with my gift card! i need answers and solutions ASAP!! This just doesn't make any sense at all!! I am very frustrated and stressed out with all this nonsense! I have sent in all the required info including my drivers license so plesae dont reply asking for the info I have already sent unteen times!!!

VRChat for some reason keeps giving me that error and it won't load after that. I can't even press the "Okay" button. Is this an issue that many people are experiencing, or is it just me? The error then proceeds by saying that I need to use a PC and a cable to play VRChat with quest link. I've done that and I can play it, but the point is that I want to play VRChat without my PC so I can play anywhere, and this error keeps blocking me from doing that. Is there a fix to this issue? if so how? (I've tried reinstalling, using my phone hotspot, restarting the device)

So i have a Rift S, and when i try to download the oculus setup, it gets stuck on 2.18gb out of 2.19gb, and ive tried everything, i have way more than needed space on my drives, ive tried turning on and off my network adapter, i tried using a vpn, nothing works and i dont know why, please help.

After the firmware patch v77 i noticed on my Meta Quest 3 a major battery consumption increase both in standalone mode and PCVR mode.To test in a controlled way, as much as possible without specific techs, i did a typical game session with the same apps with the same settings as one week ago and the headset duration was 2 hour less than usual (wich i shouldn't have to remark how drastic and obvious that something is not working as before).I use an headstrap with a battery pack that until now it reliably gave me around 5 hour of gameplay in the same conditions that now give me 3 total (battery and integrated battery of the hmd).I have serious doubts that in less than 2 days the external battery or the internal battery went from new to out of service.I have to add further that after the firmware update v77 i noticed a noticeable increase in the hedset fan speed, to the point where now i can hear it. Hello, I have a suggestion and a request. I'd like to propose removing the 6-digit code for Facebook's 2-factor authentication (2FA) and replacing it with a QR code login option. I experienced difficulties accessing my account due to the 2FA code. Additionally, I request that Facebook revisit its community guidelines to minimize mistaken account bans, especially for older and new accounts. I believe account banning should be strictly reserved for accounts that genuinely violate community standards, such as spreading fake news or harassment etc. Unintentional account bans can be frustrating and feel like a scam. I hope you'll consider my suggestions and implement these changes by August, September at the latest. Thank you.
