My son used my VR headset to play Gorilla Tag while I was busy, and I didn’t realize it until I received an email asking me to verify my age. I thought it was strange, but I completed the verification anyway. Since then, I haven’t received any response. It’s been over a week now. I was confused about what was happening, so I contacted a friend who had experienced the same issue. They suggested that I redo the verification, so I did. It has now been four days since I resubmitted it. At this point, I’m really frustrated. Support hasn’t been helpful, I can’t find any useful information online, and I honestly don’t know what to do anymore.
Whenever I boot my PC. Chrome opens to:https://www.meta.com/help/quest/I cannot for the life of me figure out how this happened or how to fix it. This started happening partway through the troubleshooting in this thread here:Meta Horizon Link launches on startup. It should not do this. | Meta Community Forums - 1364841It is not in my crome startup settings.
Recently I tried updating my meta horizon app and I got the error restart your pc or contact support, I restarted and got the same error. Now the installer won't install the application properly aka I get the same error and the link app is gone. I figured it was worth a try here for help. For context I didn't use the app for 7-10 days then I launched pcvr and it was unstable, saw an update, tried to install it, and the app bricked itself. I really don't know what to do anymore, I've had countless problems with this app and I have to use it cause airlink, wireless steamvr is just too unstable.

After I factory reset my headset then the headset asked me to pair both my controllers but the problem is I only have one working controller which is the left one. My right one has the ring snapped off. (I'm on quest 2) So now since it's asking me to pair both controller and I only have one I can't get past this step and I'm stuck on the pairing process when you first turn on the headset after a factory reset
Hello,Since a couple of weeks I have problems with my META Quest 3 Headset. It started shutting off during use, unpredictadely. At some point it didn't start up anymore. I have been trying ever since to find a solution for this issue. I tried a software update through connection to the PC from the META website, but the headset is not recognised.I tried the power button for 30s.I tried the power button with the volume button and a reboot, also the return to factory settings.Nothing works. The device powers up to the META logo, then usually a bright light flash and then the device starts to reboot going through the same steps logo, sound, flash and shutdown.Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?I still think it is software related.KindlyAnke
It seems that not only I, but many other people are experiencing this issue as well. When I connect my headset to a PC with a cable to play SteamVR games, the height is often incorrect when the session starts. In that case, I can fix it by going to Settings → Physical Space → Boundary -> Create New Boundary and adjusting it.However, the bigger problem is that if I place the headset on a desk or table for a few minutes while I'm playing games and then put it back on, the height resets based on the surface where the headset was placed. As a result, I have to turn off the steam game and go to option and recalibrate the floor level again. This is quite inconvenient. Is there any way to permanently fix or lock the floor height so that it does not reset regardless of where the headset is placed?
I record gameplay directly on my Meta Quest while playing for my YouTube channel. Recently, after playing for several hours, I noticed that all of my footage looked slightly zoomed in, almost like my character had tunnel vision. The field of view was clearly tighter than normal. While I was still in VR, everything seemed fine. I didn’t change any settings, and I went through all the display/recording options trying to figure out what happened. I couldn’t find anything that would cause it. I even tried Googling the issue but couldn’t find anyone describing the same problem.Sometimes when I restart the Quest It'll go back to normal view, but then it randomly returns to it being zoomed in.Unfortunately, that means about 8 hours of gameplay across multiple games are all recorded with this zoomed-in effect. It really hurts the quality of the videos and makes them look off compared to my normal uploads.Has anyone experienced this before? Is this a known Quest recording bug?Is there any way to
My quest three was behaving like normal and charging completely fine next to my bed, but suddenly isn’t turning on or showing the charge light. I’ve already followed the tutorials that say to hold the power button for 30+ seconds and hold the volume down button. Neither worked after charging for multiple hours. please help
On the mobile meta horizon app, in the headset pairing section, since I haven't have a headset paired yet (my headset is a quest 3), the little popup on the top of the section saying pair a new device is there. Of course, I tap 'pair', and the pairing screen shows up (I suppose, the screen below). After turning all the permissions on, I realized that this screen could not be scrolled down, unlike the other ones in the app. Every time I tried it, it just refuses to scroll down. Pressing continue has no effect and does nothing and pressing not now exits the screen. Moreover, I have also tried the online help platforms, and connecting the quest 3 with the serial number on its physical side, but it just shows "this device cannot be supported" or something similar, which means I can't get help with the serial number in the official website. Is there a possible solution or a workaround for this issue? Thanks!(PS: also please note that getting a new device is not a feasible solution for m
Im trying to connect my quest 2 to my phone after a long while of it being unused, ive not had an issue with the quest 3s i have been using. The quest 2 would not connect and i followed all the troubleshooting methods i found online to try fix this. now when i try to enter my code its advising me "headset not found"created a new meta accountconnecting to pc (now it shows on my new account but wont allow anything else) factory resetting uninstalling and reinstalling app attempting on 3 different devices 2 android 1 apple resetting my bluetooth connections on bothsideloading update (when performing this step the device wont stay in update mode long enough and loads up before update is installed i have attempted this more than once the highest it got to was 80%)
Maybe someone here can help me figure out what’s going on. I updated my headset and now after rebooting it my passthrough when in my log in screen only, is not working.
Hi everyone, tagging @MetaQuestSupport because I really need help.My Quest 3S is permanently stuck on the Beta (PTC) firmware and I can't get out of it no matter what I try. What I've tried:Toggled PTC OFF in the Meta Horizon app multiple timesFactory reset multiple times (boot menu + Meta website)Manual ADB sideload of stable firmware (completes successfully but headset always boots back into beta)ADB commands to disable OTA updatesThe core issue: The bootloader always boots from the beta partition regardless of what I sideload. It seems like a server-side PTC lock that only Meta can remove from the backend.Additional problem: After multiple factory resets, the Quest 3S no longer appears in my account's device list on the Meta website, even though the headset is still logged into my account. What I need:Manual removal from the PTC program on the backendRe-linking of the device to my accountThe beta firmware is also causing hand tracking crashes and USB debugging (ADB) to malfunction.Tha

Bonjour, lorsque je veut connecter mon quest 2 en air link, il apparait 2 grosses bandes noires horizontales a milieu de l'écran. On m'a demandé de désactiver spacearp ,mais cela ne résoud rien.
so when i turn on my vr, my controllers work perfectly fine. then when i click which profile im using, it stops functioning. the vr controllers DO work, the avatar moves when i do, the fingers move when i make thwm move. but when it comes to clicking something on the homescreen, nothing works. the icons that im hovering on light up like i can click them, but no matter but buttons i press, it wont click. and also, the white dot/ pointing dot thingy is stuck in the middle of the screen and when i moves my head it follows. ive restarted it millions and millions of times. took out the batterys and done everything that i can to. ive serched everywhere but theres no answer. (im on a quest 3s btw)
Hi, I'm having problems setting up a new profile on my Quest 2. I’ve tried sending the verification link to several different email accounts, but none of them have arrived in my inbox. I’ve also checked all spam and junk folders. My son recently got a new Quest 3 headset, and the plan was for him to use that while I use the older Quest 2 so we can play together. I created a new Meta account for myself and successfully verified the account. Everything appears to be working correctly on the web. However, when I try to log in on the Quest 2, I’m prompted to verify via email, and those verification emails never arrive. I’ve gone through all the troubleshooting steps I could find related to this issue, but nothing has resolved the problem so far. Could you please assist?
Since the latest v85 final (non-PTC) on both my Q3 and QPro headsets (and meta-link pc app) neither headset starts up properly. It seems to startup ok but then goes to a black screen (did the same after the update/restart btw). To get it to startup I need to press the power button once (get a sleep mode beep), then press it again, and then it starts up fine and seems to work well with everything. Also, my Q3 Elite battery strap still does not charge its battery and headset battery properly. I don't get any charge lights on the headset and it only seems to charge the headset battery to 75-80%. I have files bug reports on all these issues. Hopefully Meta will eventually provide fixes. Otherwise, all my standalone and PCVR with Link and Air Link seem to work fine (no performance or bitrate limitations as reported by a few users). Cheers.
Bought I Expect You to Die 2 for my son. But he gets error message: “can’t send gift. Recipient can’t redeem this gift. Please select another gift or recipient.” We are seriously bummed out, I was charged for it and he can’t play it.
I have no idea how this started but it keeps spazzing back and forth from the loft to pass through. Please help
I am trying to add a profile; however, when I put in the email address for the invite link to go to, I get the message "Something went wrong, try again later." I have restarted the headsets multiple times with no luck. The one time it did send the email, it never went through to the email, and it wasn't in the spam folder either. If anyone could help me with this problem, I would greatly appreciate it.
ik keeps telling Something went wrongThis may be because of a technical error that we are working to get fixed. You can try continuing another way, or try again later.
