Quest 3s Display Issues

Hello! I've been recently facing a severe issue with my Quest 3s display for PC VR and I'm no longer able to use it. Whenever I connect my headset my PC to via cable link, the game I've booted up through Steam VR (this is also an issue in the Meta Horizon as well, not a Steam issue) will freeze after playing for a few minutes. When I try to quit the game through my pc dashboard, I'm no longer able to access the dashboard on neither Steam or Meta horizon. It'll just show the standalone home settings. When I press the home button again to go back to the game, everything is completely black but I'm still able to hear on the headset and the game is running perfectly fine on my PC screen. I can even hear my controllers pressing on the buttons as if I hadn't crashed at all but the display doesn't show up at all. I've tried using my PC on a separate headset, factory reset my own, tested my link, and have reset my PC but absolutely nothing has been working. I've begun to wonder if it's a cable issue due to the fact that I've tested this out on a different headset with no difference noticed. In the case of it being a cable issue, I do not use my link very often. I have used my link every few weeks and got it back in January. It is the official meta link that I spent $70 on and I keep it in its original packaging in my desk drawer. To my knowledge, there is absolutely zero reason it should be broken. If it is, I am severely disappointed in spending as much money as I did on a product that broke after not even using it that consistently for a few months. So far there has only been one discussion posted talking about the exact issue I've been having. I'm extremely frustrated and would really like some input in regards to this.

Thank you!

I fixed it! So it was on another forum that I found this on but it was apparently a NVIDIA driver issue and by updating it back to an older drive everything went back to normal!

I didn't even realize how many others were experiencing the same issue, it's a comfort knowing I'm not the only one lol I'll check to see some of the solutions people have left in those forums and get back to the discussion

That's good! If you find that one of them works, if you can let everyone know here, it will be great for people suffering from it. Good luck!! Hope you have a good resolution!! πŸ€πŸ€žπŸ€ž

That's exactly what happened to me with an aftermarket cable, right after a Quest update.

I went out and bought the Meta cable, and it worked fine. Then, I tried it again a few days ago, and it worked, but the visuals were no better than standalone, and I got frequent periods of random jittering.

I tried wireless through Virtual Desktop, which worked fine, but I didn't like the visuals. I tried Steam Link, and that seems to be the way to go.
