Hi, when I cast to the tv the meta quest 3 works for about 30 seconds then it all crashes. My internet speed is around 30 but suddenly the whole thing crashes, internet speed registers around 0.7. What is wrong, is there an issue with the hub or a fault on my meta quest 3. If anyone has any ideas would be appreciated
Hello Everyone! Looking for some assistance to get my Oculus Rift S working or atleast to diagnose what is going on. USB is connecting, DisplayPort is not. App says a Firmware update is required, but it fails instantly. Have plugged and replugged the cable at the headset, connected USB waited 10 seconds and connected the DP. Reinstalled App and drivers, ran things as admin. Is there any way to better troubleshoot? or can the firmware be performed via cmd? or with another util? any assistance appreciated. I have been unable to raise a Meta support case as my account has not yet connected with this device.
When we want to Link VR to pc it says that my son needs my permission. For any app he can send a request, but for this link i just can't find what were i have to give permission. We have a link with his phone on which he has the meta horizon app. He can play. I installed de app on the pc.
I already enabled the options the app needs so it can connect to my meta quest 2 and it's also registered there but still it says "please enable the needed permissions"
I have enabled hand tracking, removed the controllers out of headset sight, but it doesn't switch to hands.I just don't have any hands🤷Does anyone here know what I'm doing wrong and what I can do to fix this?
Hello there,I`ve bought Oculus Quest 2 and wanted to pair it with Horizon Link I`ve downloaded mobile app then opened it and started pairing process, so I also have turned on my Oculus Quest 2 then typed 5-symbol code to app and it was paired successfully, I can see it in my devices but there is a problem - Mobile App said that I need to continue configuring my Oculus Quest 2 actualy on my device, but then I weared it on there was nothing changed, It steel shows link code and nothing happens. Then I also tried to reset it with recovery mode -> went to boot menu and selected factory reset, when it booted it steel shows this link code and steel nothing happens. Did someone had same issue, how did you solved it ?
My Quest 3 Mic works completely fine in headset native games, I cannot get it to work via Meta Link. I have tried reinstalling and repairing the Meta Link app, go through windows registries and reset tons of audio components and nothing has seemed to work. The Oculus Virtual Audio Device is listed in my devices and is not disabled, and its stuck at 50% audio level. I have also used a Rift S under the same Oculus Virtual Audio Device input when connected to the PC in the past. Since then I removed it as a device, and tried to delete any files that might be under Rift S. What could be the problem?

I'm not able to choose a way of how to connect a device. In the Link app I go to Devices > Add a device. Then you get a window that says "Choose how to connect" But there is no way to choose anything. The only think you can do is click continue which just goes back to the home screen. This app sure is putting up a fight. Any help would be apprciated.
I get the error message "It looks like there isn’t an account associated with" my email address but that is the correct email address when trying to log into the parent account.
So I own a Meta Quest 2 and my younger brother owns a Meta Quest 3 and within the same week we noticed both left hand controllers have mysterious decided to stop responding. By stop responding I mean the controllers won't respond in any manner and will not even turn on after batteries being swapped for brand-new ones, resetting connected controllers and pretty much every possible step recommended that I've seen online. Does anyone have any magical fixes for unresponsive controllers or have we wasted over $1000 CAD on these right-handed head bricks?
Hi everyone,We lost access to our Meta account used for a university VR lab (Quest 2). Password is correct, but we don’t receive the verification code on the registered phone number, and we no longer have recovery codes. The account was logged in on multiple devices for lab use. This is urgent because it’s needed for ongoing classes and research.Has anyone dealt with this or knows how to recover access in this situation? Thanks!
I have a meta quest 3, but I didn’t like the tracking so I got meta quest pro controllers. It’s been a long time since but for some reason my controllers got an update. And now I can’t use my right controllers because it keeps disconnecting and connecting I’ve tried so many things but nothing works and I need help.
Hello everyone, I'm currently stuck with an issue with my right quest 2 controller being stuck in SOS mode.My right controller is always in sos mode, but when I turn the headset is off, it blinks normally like my left one. When I power the headset back on, the light goes dim and then enters the SOS mode again.I tried multiple things but none workedRemoved battery for several minutes AND for multiple hours.Replaced with a brand new, non-rechargeable high-quality alkaline battery.Unpaired and re-paired via the Meta Horizon app. I once got it to work by unpairing, restarting the headset, and re-pairing. It worked for one session, but as soon as I turned the Quest back on the next day, it went back to SOS mode. Today I attempted a factory reset as my last attempt at fixing my right controller, but the controller is still on sos mode and now my headset is stuck in the screen for pairing the controllers and I cannot do anything about it since I need both controllers to continu

When I try to pair my quest 2 with the meta horizon app, I'm unable to scroll down and choose quest 2 on the device pairing page.I recently factory reseted the headset. Aditionally my phone is using the same network at the headset and has Bluetooth mode on.I've un-installed and re-installed the app 3 times, tried two family members phone's (also a samsung), and tried mirroring my phone to my computer's screen. Here's my phone version incase it's relevant to the issue:Phone: Galaxy A13 (Samsung)One Ui version: 6.1Android version: 14
Hello Meta Community, I am reporting a persistent Meta Quest 2 pairing issue that does not appear to be caused by user error. My Quest 2 is stuck in the initial setup pairing flow and the Meta Quest or Meta Horizon app consistently shows the message “Couldn’t pair with your headset”. This issue persists even after factory reset and across multiple Android devices including Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, Samsung Galaxy A54, and a OnePlus device. I have performed factory reset using the boot menu, verified the headset shows a 6 digit pairing code, updated the Meta Quest app, cleared app cache and data, granted all permissions including Bluetooth and Location, used manual pairing with the code instead of auto detect, ensured the phone and headset were on the same network using a mobile hotspot, and disabled VPN and private DNS. The app detects the headset and sometimes shows “Headset connecting” but pairing never completes and Add New Device always fails. The same behavior occurs across phones an
My controller is paired to my headset but it keeps on connecting and disconnecting every time I use it it’s been happing since may of last year because dropped it once and now I have issues with and the cover is kinda off so I think that’s the problem.
So I just got this new headset about two weeks ago. I’m not very techy but I’ve done everything I could to try and fix my controllers. My left one is deciding not to pair or even connect, even though it’s fully charged. The light will turn on, I’ll feel the buzz when trying to pair, but it still decides not to pair or show up. I’ve looked at several discussions and tried researching online but nothing helps or tells me what to do. I’ve held down the buttons, restarted the headset, no luck.

SITUATION: When I connect my Q3 to laptop, (as I've done for years), it beeps, and charges, but doesn't pop-up in explorer (nor show the access files dialogue box).BACKGROUND: I have used windows explorer for years with no issue across multiple Quest headsets. I don't believe I have changed any settings. I have also looked through Quest device settings (and web), and can't find the way to force the access files pop-up. [possible solution?]PURPOSE: My intent is to download recorded content from my device and edit before publishing to YouTube, etc. HOW TO REPLICATE: Plug in Q3 to PC/laptop with trusted cable.NOTES:Currently on v85Connecting to my PC brings up the charging indicator light as expectedConnecting makes the affirmation beepLink still works (can see desktop, play VR games)SideQuest worksThe usual pop-up "allow connected device to access files" doesn't showI recently had a temporary warning that it detected water in the port. Yet that was rand
