Pairing & Connections

Ist das normal das wen ich meinen Kopfhörer oder Headset mit der Quest 3 verbinde, um einen vernünftigen Sound zu haben, wen ich dann in Horizon World gehe, um mir ein Konzert anzugucken ist alles total Asynchron. Schalte ich das Bluetooth ab und nehme keinen Kopfhörer, ist alles wieder in Ordnung. Kann das nicht endlich mal behoben werden? Den wen ich mir schon ein Coldplay Konzert angucke oder andere, möchte ich doch wenigstens einen vernünftigen Sound haben und nicht diesen Mist über die eingebauten Lautsprecher, zum Spielen ausreichend, aber mehr auch nicht. 

Because of performances issues, I factory reset my Quest 2 and now I'm totally unable to pair it with the Meta Horizon app.On the app, I still see the Quest 2 as paired even after uninstalling/reinstalling the app and if I try to add a device to have the pairing process, it finds it and ask for the pairing code, but it says "Unable to pair your headset, please try again. You may need to do a factory reset".So I tried a factory reset again, to no avail.

I'm stuck on Pair your headset with Meta Horizon App.  It won't let me pair and I'm stuck completely! How do I switch Blue tooth on?

Hello, I have a Meta Quest 3 which was working great with DCS World.   Today when I "Connect to PC" the Quest 3 displays the Quest Logo in VR but it does not show anything from the PC.   It sits with the logo and the three dots underneath.   I've tested the Link and it's connected (Cable). I've checked the settings and they al seem okay.   I checked DCS and it's set to VR but I get no VR in the headset.   Can anyone assist with this?   Thank you.

Meta Quest 3 updated to 8.3Hi, after a recent update my Accessibility menu has gone. The controls seem to be stuck in hand gestures, although the controllers work with some menus they do not operate correctly inside apps and games. A message pops up asking me to switch to controllers, which I can't do.Otherwise, both controllers work perfectly, but I did swap with a friend and pair his controllers with my headset. The problem is still there.

Hi! I factory reset my Quest 2 recently due it starting to get buggy, and once I put in the 5 digit code on my phone to pair, it always said that it was unable to pair. I've done almost every solution I could find (factory reset the headset again, reset bluetooth, use another account), but nothing is working. I've seen a few discussions on the forums here too, but none of them really helped me (unless I missed something). I don't know if this is a problem on my end or Meta's end but I'd like to be able to play my games again soon.Thank you!

I look at youtube and see such good clarity in msfs, but when i use my quest 3 glasses it looks terrible, ive tried everything i can think of but to no avail, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,I've been trying to pair my Quest 3 to my new PC, but the HorizonLink app says the "graphics card is not compatible with Meta Quest Link".The new PC has a AMD RX 9070 XT which is listed in the supported graphics card: https://www.meta.com/help/quest/140991407990979/#GPUI already checked that the everything (PC, Quest, etc) has the latest updates available.Tried restarting a few times as well.What should I do?Thank you! 

My meta quest 2 for some reason does not connect to my internet despite typing in the correct password.I later changed the internet's name, which also for some reason never changed in my VR headset, I also tried a factory reset to see if it works but to no avail.

When i try to connect to my airlink the meta logo stays stuck in my headset and doesnt load. It also says on the meta link app my pc does not reach the updated minimum specifications whilst it does, i also use norton as a antivirus if anyone knows if that affects anything.

  the below issue was solved when I clicked on quest 3 instead of quest 3S at the what type of device are you pairing menu. this is insane because it was a 3S I was pairing !I can’t pair my quest 3S after factory reset. I put in the code provided by the headset but it says visor not found.I tried finding local access in iOS for app but local access doesn’t list meta horizon app even though it’s installed.I tried the move visor far away and bring back but it didn’t work.I tried doing it on website instead of app but website wants an 8 digit code and visor offers a 5 digit code. I can’t get past pairing screen in visor to find actual code or different code if it is wrong. Also want to add that when I put my serial number on the quest web site it said I don’t qualify for support. I would not have purchased a $500 set of VR goggles had I known the company does not provide customer support. 

when turn on headset goes to download update "some chic" screensay's updating then reset power itself back to the same screen no setting menutry wifi and cord if you press power and sound no reset does not show meta iconfan comes on stay's on unless hold power button

Ive had my meta quest 2 for over a year and this isn't the 1st time it has happened, this is like the 5th time it has happened and its getting on my nerves, meta quest support isnt helping, Google isnt helping and the issue isnt my internet or router because it works perfectly fine with everything else. Its happened 5 Times and each time I couldn't fix it, I would just have to wait it out which is usually 2-4 months just so it can fix itself, I don't want to keep waiting I want to fix the issue, someone anyone please. Its getting on my nerves.  And no the simple issues like "Restart your Internet Router" Or "Reboot your Meta Quest" aren't working

I can't access my account after purchasing the new meta quest 3, I never had to give a authentication code with with my quest 2 with I just sold Dec 23, 2025 and purchased the new meta quest 3 on the same day. My account on my quest 2 with all the games I purchased I can't access because I can't set up the google authenticator the barcode just still say loading for the last 5 days. I am so frustrated I started a new account but by doing that I have to re-purchase all of my games and I should not have to do that. I sent a private message I sent a security message, I have sent so many messages with no help at all. 

I have a Quest 3. My son has a computer. He wants to use Link to play PC games. Attempting to login to the desktop Link app with his account results in an error saying something like no permission or unauthorized or something. When I login with my account on Link it lets me do so, but then attempting to link via his account on the Quest 3 headset results in a message stating "blocked" or similar and prompts that the parent can update his account to enable Link access. There is no such menu option in Family center to enable linking. Additionally, when not connected to his PC, while logged in through his Meta account, going to settings > Link and attempting to enable results in the same message; something about it being blockedWhere can I enable my son's meta account to connect via Link. Currently he cannot connect to his PC with the Quest 3, unless he uses my meta account on both the headset and the desktop software.I see no option in the family center to enable Link

Hallo,ich habe für ein Elternteil und ein 14 jähriges Kind ein Konto erstellt und eine Elternaufsicht eingerichtet.Wenn mein Kind ein Spiel USK 16 herunter laden will, erscheint nur der Hinweis, dass dies nicht möglich ist, da USK 16. Es besteht nicht die Möglichkeit eine Anfrage an das Elternteil zu schicken. Dies sollte doch eigentlich gehen.Wie kann ich das erreichen?

Quest 2 Right Controller flashes SOS (3 times) then dies. Won't enter pairing mode.Hi everyone, I need technical advice. My Right Controller disconnected and I can't get it back.The Symptoms:- I unpaired it from the app to try and reset it.- Now, when I insert a battery, the LED blinks white 3 times and then shuts off completely.- Buttons are unresponsive. Holding Oculus + B does nothing (no light).Troubleshooting steps I have ALREADY taken:1. Batteries: Swapped from generic heavy duty to brand new Energizer Alkaline.2. Swap Test: Took the working battery from my Left Controller (which works perfectly) and put it in the Right one. Result: Still just 3 blinks and dead.3. Foil Trick: Used aluminum foil to ensure contact with the positive terminal. No change.4. Force Reset: Held down buttons for 1+ minute while inserting battery. No response.Is the "3 blinks on battery insertion" a code for hardware failure/short circuit? I want to avoid opening the hardware/RMA if possible. Is there any

I’m having trouble pairing my device and using it. It’s asking me for a 5 digit code?? 

Hey, we are trying to connect my sons quest 2 headset to his computer. When i use the patental account it works well, but when we try to air link it using his account on the quest, it says he needs the right permissions from parents. But it wont send a request to my Horizon app so i can accept it. Cant find a setting to grant him access to it via the Family Center either..  Any good solutions? 

Have done a lovely screen recording I want to share with the world. I need to edit this first. So I would like to use my common desktop NLE Davinci Resolve to edit the video before posting.Previously I was able to move files around but this seems to have vanished now, looking at my Quest2 with developer access, Win11.Where has it gone? No notification, no icons.Tried virtual desktop, Meta Horizon Link, cable, wifi, Meta Remote Desktop,Tried sharing, downloading, cloud storage, for frustrating hours this shouldn't be so hard.Can't even get Sidequest desktop app to detect my headset anymoreWhat's going on here? suddenly both controller do not work perfect. Periodically both controller seems to be disconnected and do not work. In the next moment the controllers are back, and working perfect. This problem (pairing/dispairing) is permanent. Normal playing with quest3 is critical because the controller are unavailable suddenly.My quest was working best for 2 years, no problems in the past. 2 days ago, starting 12/23/2025, the pairing problem raises up. So it seems to be a software/firmware problem.In the internet a lot of useres reported this problem, now i got infected, too.I followed all recommendations (from meta) but it did not help. This is what I expected from meta, no help at all. They don't know what they're doing.Is there any recommendation to fix this problem.Thank you very much.

Bought the Meta Quest 3S Walking Dead Bundle from best buy. The game didn't come with the headset. After talking to best buy customer support they said to contact Meta. Whenever I try to contact support it doesn't show a device connected to my account. I try to verify with the serial number and it gives me an error about it being invalid.  This thing is brand new and I really don't know what I am doing. Any help or suggestions?
