Pairing & Connections

Before launching Horizon Link app, My internet speed is 430mbs/14mbs. After launching it is 12mbs/0mbs.

I can not log into my Meta Link. When I try to it comes stating that either the email address or the password are incorrect. I have done a forgot password reset and still get the same issue when I go back to log in after setting a new password. I can log into my Meta account with the new password but not into the link. Does anyone know how to fix this as I can not find anything in Meta online nor can I get a link for their support anywhere. 

Any way to get the website to recognize that im using the same account on the device? Just wanna be able to get the game from the bundle i bought. and the fact there is not a single support option for an actual person is diabolical.

Hi, I bought a quest 3s for my son for xmas. I have followed all the extremely painstaking steps to try and set it up for xmas day, ive got to the pairing page on the app, and im hitting the blue continue button and nothing. Its not doing anything. Ive restarted both phone and quest. Reinstalled the horizon app. Nothing. Completely non responsive. The quest was on 100% and in 30 mins of trying to sort this out its down to 45% really!? Starting to regret this purchase. Any help greatly appreciated 

I seem to be having an issue that was relevant 6 months ago, yet none of the recommended fixes worked for me, so I'll be taking my chances here.The left controller works completely fine, however on my right controller, none of the triggers works. Both the grip and index triggers does not trigger in game, or in menu. The capacitive sensors work flawlessly, though, and track how close my finger is on the index finger trigger just fine. The buttons and joystick work fine, too. It's just those two most important buttons that do not work.I've tried unpairing (on headset and on app), removing the battery on the controller for hours, resetting my headset, and none of it worked.Help is greatly appreciated!

I have a 3s and want a quest 3 as well so I have 2 headsets .I paid almost 300 for the 3s so dont want to pay full price for a quest 3 as well . Would I be able to get a quest 3 headset only off ebay and use my 3s controllers and charger etc from my 3s ? Can yous help what exactly I would need . Is it just a quest 3 headset and battery .

Headset and phone not pairing after update and code was input

I couldn't find any article or youtube video about this so i doubt it works, passthrough from cameras has high latency adn shows at very edge of play area - not before. I am afraid to destroy something in house. I tried to make steamvr chaperone to work without luck!

I’ve got an Oculus Rift CV1 that’s giving me trouble. The headset isn’t being picked up over HDMI at all — the USB connection seems fine, but the Oculus app just says “No HDMI Connection” and the display stays black.For context, I was an early backer of Oculus and also own a DK1. Unfortunately, the DK1 doesn’t work on my current setup either, so I’m wondering if there’s a deeper compatibility or hardware issue here.

I'm stuck in what feels like Meta account hell and I'm hoping someone here has been through this nightmare.My account was created with email and locked down with 2FA on a phone number I no longer have. My old carrier said there's zero chance of getting that number back, and my recovery codes are either used up or have expired somehow. I've been locked out for a week now.I've spent hours going in circles through Meta's support pages. Need account help? Check the forum—except I can't log in to see it. Login issues? Enter your device serial code—which goes absolutely nowhere. The worst part? There's literally no way to contact an actual human. No email, no support tickets, nothing. Just an endless loop of useless help pages.I'm not giving up yet, but I really need to hear from someone who's gotten through this. I recently downloaded Meta Quest Developer Hub, and now, my headset no longer is shown on file explorer. I've tried turning on and off developer mode (both on the headset and on my phone), different cables, and some other stuff. An intresting thing is that is does show up in the hub though so maybe the hub is stopping file explorer from connected? That's my idea but I don't know how I would fix it anyways. Help appreciated, thanks!

Help!  I am getting tired trying to find a solution on how to install the Link app on Windows 11 24H2.  My PC meets and exceeds all the HW requirements. I cannot find useful help with Meta IA.  A few weeks ago, it was working fine until the current update woke everything when it needed to update the Link driver in which it did nothing.  I ended up, uninstalling and deleting every folder related to Meta and Oculus, but now it just fails to install.  Help anyone!!! P.S. I tried some of the current post, but no luck.

as far as ive seen online, this is not a problem only I have. My left quest pro controller is failing to connect to my quest pro itself. It sits there, flashing purple and white. my quest pro during the pairing process gives me a message of "controller failed to pair" HOWEVER, the right controller paired just fine. Ive tried resetting the controller, restarting, keeping it in cameras view, restarting the headset, etc. im unsure of what to do. considering i just spent around $850 on the headset and controllers for christmas.

Have 2 batteries which attach to the back of my headstrap and 2 batteries which I wear around my neck. Everything working great until today. Now batteries on headstrap work well but neck batteries both not working. Said batteries will charge phone. Stock cable will charge headset. What is going on ? 

My Quest 3 had issues pairing to my controllers after the most recent update, after restarting the headset, swapping batteries, attempting to reset the controllers, and unpairing them and repairing them VIA the Horizons app i decided to hard reset my headset. Now I can even get off the “pair controllers” screen since the controllers continue to refuse to connect. I don’t know what to do anymore, any suggestions?

Before all this, I had no issue connecting my meta quest 3 to my HP windows 11 gaming laptop, but i went back on it just to see the red "graphics card not compatible with meta quest link" message. I'm confused because while it had bugs and lag before, it worked fine, I was able to play beat saber and other games great! I've connected my headset to my laptop using a USB 3 cable, but now not even air link works. I generally don't know what's going on, but if the issue continues, i don't really know if i should use meta quest link anymore and use something like ALVR.

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction. My brother passed away last May. Before he passed, he bought his son an Oculus, and they spent a lot of time playing games together on it. My nephew really wants to use it again because it helps him feel close to his dad. I have my brother’s phone with his Meta account on it, but the account was disabled, and I can’t submit an appeal because I don’t have the password. I’ve tried contacting Meta, but I keep hitting dead ends. If anyone has experience recovering a Meta/Oculus account after a loved one has passed or knows how to reach real support, I’d truly appreciate it. Thank you.

Ok so I had got banned on instagram and it took out my oculus account I went to get back on my oculus to put another account on there and It says log int my banned account but when I put the info in it does not work is there a line so I can talk to meta not to get my account back just to be able to use my oculus again

For some reason, yesterday I was able to hear my sounds on voicemod through my headset but today I couldn't hear anything. I'm not sure if i need to update anything or fix something since I'm new with meta. I did switch the audio output to the oculus virtual audio device.

Every time I use the Air Link with my Meta Quest 3 it stutters and stops, and then crashes and kicks me, but once I'm on stand alone it says I can connect again. I've changed the bandwidth limit and everything else under the sun, but nothing seems to fix the problem. I've also repaired the app like five times, I've also checked steam vr too cause I also use that too but I don't why it keeps freezing for ages and then kicking me, or it'll freeze take like 30 seconds to 5 minutes to catch up. I don't know how to fix it and I would like some help.

Hi,I have set up several Quest 2 devices with no trouble (sometimes requiring factory reset and firmware upgrade) and was able to set up Quest 2 devices successfully.When tried to pair my old Quest 1 (after factory reset) all but one of the set up steps go  through (Pairing, Controller setup, Wifi Setup) and finally on Safety review video, it just loops on and on.No matter what I try it doesn't go past that. And I gave the Meta Horizon Android app a one star review and the team asked me to contact the community forum.The only advice I found online to fix this is to go back to a very old version of the Meta Horizon app. But that mobile app will not allow me to log in and asks me to update the app on device.So, I was basically stuck with a bricked Quest 1 after factory reset. But wait, while I was typing this discussion, I thought why not try to set it up with the Meta Horizon app with my iPhone. And to my surprise, it worked. Its only the Android app that is broken for Quest 1

I am using a QUEST 2 OCULUS headset that is running an anatomy application BODYMAP.Both my windows research CPU and my windows laptop successfully connect to our network using wi-fi.However, BODYMAP shows up in my googles library, and when executing it, it first asks to indicate a wi-fi connection.  I select the same network that is running successfully on the CPU and laptop, but it fails every time.Has anyone experienced this problem?Cal
