My sister and i bought a Meta Quest 2 VR headset and we don’t use it often but i wanted to use it today but i had found out the account that was used was under my sister’s email which got suspended and we didn’t know this happened as like i said we don’t use this often. I tried everything from resetting the device but my VR headset is stuck on a screen that says “get help from a parent by march 15” or something along those lines and it won’t let me add a new account or log into my sister’s disabled account to try and delete it. Does anyone know how i can fix this?
When clicking "Remote Desktop" in Quest 3 settings it says the app needs to be installed and takes me to the Meta Store. When I try to install Remote Desktop from the store it gives an authentication error? This is weird because I can download other apps just fine from the Meta Store?
Merhaba meta quest 3 cihazım açılmıyor sembol dönüyor fakat gri ekranda kalıyor. Lütfen yardım bekliyorum
Title says it all. Recently my problems arose after a brutal crash that damaged my headset and my pc. Only recently have I fixed the pc and got it working, but now my pc links no longer work. For one, wireless links disconnect after loading into an online multiplayer game, such as VRChat. Another issue is that my headset treats a USB connecting to it via the pc link cable as charging only, and not connecting as a pc link cable. My theory is that a factory reset would fix this issue. Is this true, or will there be other hurdles and hoops I have to jump through to fix this?
So I turned off my Meta Quest headset after all the controller issues. Decided to turn it back on again, did a factory reset. This time it didn't detect either controller. Powered it back off and boxed it up. Next destination. garbage can. My Oculus 2 works with no issues.. SMFH!!
I get a flip to vsync of 25 ms whether I am using wired or a wireless connection. My total app to photon latency is around 43-45 ms on average. I have seen other users get as low as 30 ms app to photon latency with the same settings and a lower spec PC. I am using a dedicated WiFi 7 router connect via 10 GPS Ethernet in the same small room connected to my Quest 3. How are other users able to achieve these latency numbers? Our graphics settings in game are the same and the settings on ODT/OTT are the same. Could it be they are using a different build or am I missing something? At 120 Hz flip to vsync can theoretically be as low as 11.3 ms from my understanding. Have they optimized flip to vsync somehow? The reason for optimization is performance related. I notice big difference between 50 ms app to photon latency and 44 ms.
This seems like a simple question but I can't find any answers. I would like to use virtual desktop on the Quest 2 via the link cable (NOT WIFI) just to troubleshoot connections and utilize the neat environment features of the app. Is this possible? I play FPS's that are 2D on my quest and using the oculus desktop "button" doesn't provide the nice features of screen sizing and everything else that virtual desktop does (and the games spontaneously crash). Is there another alternative other than VD or the oculus desktop? How do I get it not to crash? Thanks, Bob
hi,I tried to log in and everything seemed to be fine, but as soon as I got access I received an error message on handy: "OCPeople PogsShelfQuery got errors: no errors."I tried to deinstall and reinstall the app, empty the cache, reboot the handy and install the app on another handy. Same errors. How to solve this?
My controller joystik it, keep glitching and always move to the left and even I replaced the joystick from the controller and still giving the same problemsI feel like this is a fraud trying to make us pay for more accessories Class action or lawsuit need to be filed
TL;DR, as the title says, I think to really be competitive with 3rd party cables, good build quality and like 30' of cable length, braided cable and whatnot, feel free to add your support or build off of this or what have ya
I got the quest 3s xbox edition as a gift this year and its had constant issues since opening it. It wont display the current date and time it changes it back to whatever daye was two months before it and the clock is always on the other half of the day. ( pm during am, etc.). When I would try and play miltiplayer games i installed it would give an error that said "low memory" and crash the game. For about a week now its also refused to take a charge from any charger unless its connceted to a very weak outlet that supplys it with not even enough power to keep the headset on while it charges. And as of right now 9/25/2025 it has lost the ability to connect to Wi-Fi. That's right. The console has lost all Wi-Fi functionality. Ive tried to connect to two different connections, my personal hotspot and the wifi again after resetting my router. The wifi is working on every other device in my home except my headset. I tried rebooting the console by holding the power button for 10 seconds, and
I don't have any controllers. How can I get past the "Switch to Controllers" button? or Can you suggest any games I can play using your hands only?
I bought the Quest 3 to play Skyrim VR - meaning I need to use the Meta Quest Link to connect my headset to my laptop. My Laptop is a gaming Laptop and meets all the requirements. I am admittedly very inept with computers as I am a console gamer. The Problem: I cannot airlink my laptop and headset together. It finds the laptop and its name, then when I click pair no code comes up and it says to restart both.I feel like I've done everything I can find and am getting really frustrated. I have:- uninstalled and reinstalled the app on the PC.- Updated both headset and laptop to the latest software.- Updated my Graphic Driver (NVIDIA)- Disconnected and reconnected both from the wifi and bluetooth- Used the USB-C which came with the Quest to try cable link. It finds it, then says its not a good connection.- Renamed the laptop.Nothing has workedI am at a total loss, please someone help! I don't want to pay another £90 for the link cable, especially when I wanted to play SKyrim without cables.
The install would always fail with a Picture of the Quest3 and a black window. At the end of the pc link install, a select your headset window is displayed. It is of a fixed size, but not moveable in the up direction, and annoyingly, even though I tried clicking on the headset and trying all my keyboard keys nothing would finalise my link install. I am old so my eyes have windows Scale and layout settings* at 125% the screen. After 4 days of repair/reinstall nonsense it occurred to me something may be hidden on the bottom of the select headset window. I resized the display and the missing controls to complete the install came into view.I have spent many days trying to sort this with Meta (many emails), getting nowhere.Attn Meta : to save anyone else from this issue please make the headset selection window resizeable and moveable. Windows 10, 2560x1440 display .. .*right click on desktop.
Is the Oculus Link cable that is for Quest and Quest 2 compatible with Quest 3?

Hello, i have a quest 2 and controller pro, it worked 2 days ago, but I did the updates for the headset and then the controllers does not want to update/work. I dissociated, done the factory reset, but nothing seems to work, and in the app both controllers are green
Just bought a Quest 3 the other day, and have also purchased a Link Cable to help play more taxing games as the internet in my house is not great. However, the Quest 3 repeatedly either fails to "see" my PC when connected or seems to get stuck in the Link launch after attempting to connect. It seems to just sit in a new virtual space, with a large Meta logo and three dots repeatedly flashing. And then does... nothing. And that is only if I can get it to connect in the first place, which has been a 1 in 20ish on current attempts. With the Link Cable plugged into my PC and then into the headset, I can hear the Quest notification sound for getting plugged in, followed by alternating connected and disconnected notification on the PC itself. I can tell the cable is being seen by the Quest after the pings stop, as the battery changes to the being charged logo. Has anyone any solutions? There is also a Quest Link software update on my Meta app on the PC, but nothing I do can seem to f
I tried to play some pc vr for the first time in a while eailer as a few months ago there was a bug or somthing that made it completely unplayable with infinate loading of the app etc. When i tried to play today it loaded but kept closing pc vr and went back to the meta menu every few minutes forcing me to unplug/plug in the link cable a few times as the first time id plug it back in the game was at really low frames before going back to normal then happening again, still making it basically unplayable. Is it like this for everyone who uses a link cable right now? Or is there a fix or an update i missed or somthing?
Quest 3 and Windows 10, all was fine. I did a complete new install on my PC with Windows 11. The only thing installed is Meta Quest Link and Virtual Desktop. Meta Air Link pairs ok and shows PC as available. But when you click on 'Launch' it just hangs at a Meta Screen with Logo. This happens with the Link Cable as well. Then the Meta Quest Link messages 'We can't find your headset' then 2 seconds later messages 'Meta Quest Link isn't working correctly'. I uninstalled my Antivirus and reinstalled Meta Quest Link and Virtual Desktop, still the same. Quest 3 Software version is the latest : V79.1031.Virtual Desktop works fine.Any help appreciated.
Please fix this. This is not working correctly and I can only see the video. Not the audio. My phone was not on silent mode and was not paired to any headphones.
it wont work and i have a good computer a gaming one
Hello! I am currently struggling with a major issue. For context:I've done link vr for years, never had any major issues with it. It was worked fine on my pc until yesterday, where during a game on steam vr, the pc just went black and restarted. For the rest of the night, I tried everything to figure out what could be causing it to act like this. I have reset every application, reinstalled every application, updated all the software, have hardware that works fine, and everything else can run okay. Vr is smooth when running it, but crashes trying to keep it going for more than 4 minutes.I use a Windows 10 with a Quest 2 headset, all my stuff updated and cleared. I have enough spare storage, nothing is corrupted. I am just trying to understand where the crash is coming from.
