I received a new refurbished Quest 3 headset. The first time I use it, the display asks me to remove the protective tabs from the controllers to activate the batteries. But since I'm using the old controllers, they don't have these protective tabs, I can't skip this step and the screen won't move on to the next step. I tried to activate each button, but the screen stays frozen on the image asking me to remove the tabs. How can I move on to the next setup step? Thank you for your help.
My controllers wouldn’t pair and I did a factory reset, now it’s telling me to remove the tags that were already removed? So I tried to use my warranty but it’s telling me to pair my vr to meta ( it removed itself for some reason ) and I can’t do that since the controllers won’t pair.
What a catch 22: I needed support to help with a grayed out "Pair To PC with Mixed Reality Link" option in the advanced settings, but when I try to log in to contact support, my account is showing that I don't have any devices linked to my account. I try this over and over. I can see the avatar I created on my headset, but then it says again once I ask for an agent that it can't help due to the lack of a device on my account. I tried to authenticate via my email and Serial number, but both come back with "can't find account" notices. Any ideas?
I use a link cable to play games and it has been working fine, but now when I launch the Link app and it takes me to the white room it just freezes. I've tried resetting the headset, my pc, unplugging/plugging back in, disabling Wifi, other USB 3 ports, removing device and re-adding it back on the Meta Quest Link app on PC.I just need it to stop freezing on launch. Any ideas or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
i have no idea how to fix this, and this,it just doesnt showup
I'm trying to link my Quest 3 to my Windows 11 PC. It's a very new gaming rig.It has an AMD Radeon RX 6400 which this help document says is preferred hardware. But when I load the Link software I get the message:What am I missing. Is RX 6400 not a part of the 6000 series for some uncanny reason? Do I need to buy at least a 6600XT?Sigh, this is why I stick to software.
Every time I try to connect to a wifi it resets my vr n I still can’t connect
I used to run pcvr through a link cable but since I moved it is too laggy to even move. The Quest Link app says I'm under minimum requirements. It has always said that but I'm wondering maybe if I fixed that it would run? Here's what my computer has:Processor: Ryzen 5 7600XGraphics Card: AMD Radeon 7600XTMemory: 16 GBOperating System: Windows 11
I wanted to play a PCVR game for the first time. I got the software, plugged in my headset, and enabled Link. my PC notices its connected for a little bit but then thinks it's disconnected, not allowing me to connect. any help?
I received a new Oculus Go and tried to set it up. It freezes during the security video and won't go any further. I reset the device and reinstalled the app. I have an iOS operating system. Does anyone have any ideas?
I use a Quest 2 battery pack, but it isn't working with my headset. I tried the battery pack on my tablet, and it worked, but it doesnt charge my headset,my headset charges fine, but it does nothing with the battery pack, not even do the charge sound or show the charge symbol, and the lights don't turn on the pack. This is weird because a couple days ago it worked
Hi, I need help for D-Link air bridge to work with Windows 11 24H2. I remembered that it worked with 23H2 before upgraded 24H2, and I could not find the D-Link air bridge device in the network device list. So I performed to the factory reset to my D-Link Air bridge. After the factory reset and tried to add the bridge back and I got the initialization error with the following screenshots: I checked my device manager and I found:Two adaptors were created and I assumed that it should be one. And, checked my network devices:The Microsoft network device was not created for the D-Link air bridge.I have googled D-Link air bridge related issues, and tried to unplugged/plugged bridge, and no help at all. I even uninstalled/installed Meta Quest link app and no help. I also even reinstalled Windows 11, no help[ neither.Any suggestion? Thanks.
It has been quite a bumpy ride the last few months. I was just being able to play iRacing again for about 2 days until the Link software got updated this morning. is there any way to revert to the state of before? This is really unusable right nowit has been just working for the last year, and then it really stopped working the past few months.I am using the original link cable, I have used others in the past, that alleviated some of the problems, but today it’s no use.can anybody can share some more useful tips than to keep restarting, or keeping drivers up to date. It certainly feels to generate more problems than to solve them.Andreas
Hello again, I finally bought a low-budget PC that can actually use meta quest link. now I’m trying to use link but it’s not giving me any audio from the casting or OBS. and also I’m only given the option to cast on the computer instead from in my headset like the web.
Hello everyone I’m trying to become a streamer but I’m on a very low low budget and I’ve found that using casting save on the storage. I have been casting and using obs to record my gameplay since I can’t use airlink due to my specs not being high enough. But I can’t customize it to eye like in the camera but it would be nice if I could. Please let meta see this cuz it would be nice it they could do this soon.
Hi all, On my Meta 3, the meta logo button on the right-hand controller doesn't work. When I press it, the tiny LED flashes, but it doesn't bring up a menu, etc. To get out of an app or game, I have to do a power off/on. Any ideas? Many thanks .
Hi! I have a laptop with a 3050ti graphics card, and for some reason it is on the list of devices not supported for Oculus Link via cable connection. The laptop is more than powerful enough, and I don't understand why my graphics card is limited in use :( How can I bypass this limitation and use a cable connection Link? Air Link works fine, but I would like it better via cable.
Hi all,Got a Quest 3 a couple of months ago and still haven't found a way to get Quest Link to connect successfully first time of trying. From fresh PC & headset power-up with Link cable already connect, I power on headset and try to Enable Link which brings up the Link App splash-screen on desktop, but it never gets any further and the headset just stays on the Meta VR animation.I then have to go into Task Manager, end the Oculus processes (5 or 6 grouped together) then restart the OculusVR service - after which I put the headset back on, Enable Link via prompt again and it works then every time.Obviously it'd be nice if it just worked every time first time hence me wondering why I apparently always need to go through this odd process. If unplugging and re-plugging in the link cable is a solution then I'd very much rather avoid this due to the "wear & tear" that'd likely cause, so I'm hoping there's an alternative solution. The back of the PC nor the power outlet for the Link Ca
I have a laptop with a I9-12900H, a 3060, 32 GBs of DDR5 6400 with a 512 GB Quest 3, and yet no matter if I run SteamVR or Oculus VR, after about 5 mins, it starts lagging like crazy with tons of visual tearing, it lags so much that it literally makes it impossible to open task manager. I have 1 Gb/s internet, to which I'm connected with ethernet, and there is no discernable difference between using Airlink and a Link cable. I've been seeing a lot of updates recently but none of them have improved performance in any discernable way. Does anyone have any fixes until Meta can get their stuff together and release updates that actually contribute and improve their software instead of taking up my storage space?
I need help I factory reset my device without properly removing it from my horizon app account and now it just won't pair what can I do any one can help ?

I have had this for 2 months and I can't use it anymore. I replaced the batteries I've cleaned them. I don't know how to get the head set to respond with the hand controllers help anyone? The screen randomly sends me to a black screen saying searching for my movement.
Today I wanted to play in VR with my headset except that it was impossible to connect to a link with a cable except that yesterday I played in a cable link and I had no problem and from one day to the next it no longer worked, after I know that just before stopping playing I switched to air link because the games were buggy a little so I wanted to see if air link was better but then I stopped playing so today when I went to meta quest link (application) I saw that in my devices I no longer had my quest by cable link connection and I tried to put it back by selecting my quest 2, then cable link and there I tried everything but it no longer wanted to detect my headset while it worked very well yesterday, could I have some help please?
I have a Oculus Rift-S headset. I've downloaded the MetaQuest Link software and installed it. My PC motherboard is Asus P6X58D Premium with 24GB RAM, Intel Core i7 930 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080. I have made sure that I am up to date on all Windows patches and up to date with my NVIDIA graphics drivers. When I start the MetaQuest Link SW I see a message that says my PC does not meet the minimum requirements even though it does. I've removed almost all other applications that may cause a conflict. I've uninstalled and re-installed the MetaQuest Link SW. I've rebooted. I made sure I that I'm plugging the USB cable into a powered USB port. My headset is still not being detected. Is there something I'm missing? Are there any logs available to troubleshoot this problem?
My meta account won’t work i tried to log in after if kicked me out i put in the six letter and number code and it won’t work it says invalid code and sometimes it says connect our support team but i don’t know how to do that.
