help me, I'm stuck in the usb update menu in Oculus quest 2, when charging and connecting to a PC anyway, the usb update menu turned out so that I didn't notice that the small battery charge and the VR helmet were reduced to 0 percent and now without connecting to a PC or charging, it doesn't turn on, that is, it doesn't heal even if someone It will help, thank you very much.

Hi! I have just recently acquired a Meta Quest 3S headset and everything was going well. But just yesterday, I had some issues with the display and I cannot use it anymore. I was playing a game through Steam VR and suddenly, everything went black. Audio still played and game was still running when looking at my PC screen. Pressing the Power button and the headset twice brings me back in, but the black screen comes back immediately. It also happens sometimes when turning the headset on and looking at the tabs open while nothing is running yet. I can't play games anymore or even transitioning to the 3D world without it happening. Finally, after the black screen accident, my left eye has some issues with the screen. It's like staring at an old TV through a camera or a burned image stretching, I can't really explain. I think the right eye works fine, but not 100%. I should also say that the higher the refresh rate, the darker the left eye becomes, to the point of not seeing at all through

Hi,I did search here, the web and Amazon, but I couldn't find a USB C cable that can provide both MIDI In/Out capability and power to charge my Meta Quest 3.  I have already purchased a USB MIDI cable and it works great with PianoVision and my Yamaha Clavinova, however, the Quest runs out of battery pretty quickly running that app so I only get an hour or so practice.  Ideally I want some sort of USB C splitter which has one lead for power and the other for MIDI.  I can find splitters with Power and Audio, but I don't know if the audio lead will allow the MIDI signal to flow to and fro.Has anyone any experience with this, or could recommend a cable?Many thanks,Jeremy

I'm looking for a PCVR headset preferably under 1750AUD (~1150USD). It would probably be used for action games as opposed to sims. I would also like to get into the lighthouse ecosystem but it not a must. The pimax crystal light seems like a good choice although I've heard mixed reviews about tracking and QA. The vive pro 2 is relatively cheap here but I've heard it doesn't really hold up by today's standards. The index or index controllers are not options because it is not sold here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! edit: Forgot to mention this is to replace my old quest 2 that is currently destroyed from use and I would prefer if the headset is good for roomscale.

How do I delete quest 2 device from my list of devices.  I no longer have this device.

I need support to recover my account, I have the passwords, but it sends SMS and I changed my cell phone number.

 So, I haven’t played my Quest in a few years and I have lots of games in my Oculus Account that I want to play, however, since turning my VR back on, I was prompted to do an update and when I did that, I dug myself into a rabbit hole that I cannot find my way out of. It keeps telling me that I need to setup a Meta Account using my Oculus Account login information. It then gives me the message to take off the headset, use my mobile device to go to “meta.com/setup” which I did. When I get there it tells me to just simply login to my Oculus Account via FB, Instagram, Email. I attempt to create an account with my email and then it prompts me to use the facebook option instead. When I go back and try that, it eventually asks me for an email to create this new meta account. I type in my email only for it to tell me to go back to the begining try again with this message "This email is associated with an existing VR account. To move your existing VR apps and info to a new Meta account, g

The app just never works on the first try. It will think the quest 3 is connected, even when not even plugged in and restarting the software. I am always forced to restart my pc and headset to get it to work. On top of this you have to do a full reinstall if you end all the running tasks of the app which is just outragous. I also can't get the debug tool to open. Does anyone know of ways to just get it to work without having to deal with all of the issues?

I started a trial for the game "prison boss prohibition" and only used 5 minutes, it's been 1 night and it says my trial is up and I can't play it. 

All system messages should include a "do not show again" checkbox and there should be a section in Settings -> Notifications that list the notifications that have been blocked and allow you to unblock them. There are way too many notifications that I get repeatedly, and I do not want to see any more. Like the message telling me that one of my controllers is disconnected when I am playing a game that only needs one controller.

Hi, I don't really know if this is the right topic to publish this into forums, but I wanted to know how to fix this, I was messing around with an old Oculus quest 2 I had from when Oculus was still an independent studio branch (unrelated, but with the most terrible stick drift on both controllers). Then about a month, so or less, can't really remember, whenever I look around, whether fast or slow, or not even looking, I kept hearing this fan type of sound as if an Xbox 360 was loading a game, when I look around fast, it gradually went a bit loud, but when I stop looking around, the whirring goes quiet.How do I make the whirring stop, because I believe it means something bad is going to happen to my virtual reality headset, like overheating, please & thank you!

I purchased several games on the oculus store around 4 years ago. Now I cant even find the store anymore?!How do i play those games? Thanks

Not %100 sure but I was using Authy(saw some post on reddit about quest 3) but for some reason it didn't recognize my phone number and treated like a new account now i am logged in to my quest 3 but can't login to app on phone or website without 2fa code and cant disable it any help?

Hello. I have had my pro controllers for about a year. I’ve taken very good care of them and have always kept them charged. But just three days ago when I went to get on my quest 2 a notification popped up that said “controller update in progress” and it just disappeared. Now for the past 3 days I have not been able to use my controllers and every time I turn on my quest 2 it says “controller update in progress. The controllers lights don’t blink and I can still use the home button but the controller itself just won’t track at all. I’ve tried factory resetting my quest, updating controllers from phone app, unlinking and linking again, And none of it worked. If anyone could help me I’d really appreciate it. 

I am unable to create a child account for supervision. I had issues creating an account for "Max" and it ended up creating 3 accounts for him. I requested to have the 2 duplicate accounts deleted, but now I'm unable to create accounts for my other 2 children aged 10 and 11. How can I get this restriction removed so that they can have a profile that will allow them to play on their own Quest 3s headsets? I hope I do not have to wait 30 days for the 2 duplicate profiles for "Max" to delete before I'm able to create new ones, since the hard limit for child accounts with supervision appears to be 5 profiles. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I just got my new Quest 3 3 days ago. When I connected it through Oculus link app and a genuine Oculus link cable to my PC the connection dropped almost immediately. After reconnecting I noticed that even the slightest movement of the plug of the link cable (while it is plugged in) results in a disconnection. This makes connecting to a PC with a link cable practically unusable as almost every time I move I get disconnected. I want to add that there is nothing wrong with the cable. I use the same cable to connect to my old Quest 2 and my link connection is absolutely solid. Have I been just very unlucky or is there a design flaw or fault of the USB port on the Quest 3 headset? I had a chat via live support. I am now expecting an email from the support. I guess I will need to wait to see what happens next...

I’ve been trying to get an answer from meta through chats for about three hours with no solution.  Can someone tell me how to complete my tax info so i can receive my payouts for in world purchases of avatar clothes and bonuses.  It is showing that I haven’t set up everything so it’s not linking information.  Everytime I go into Payout transactions it shows ive earned money but apparently I don’t have access until I finish my tax information but it’s showing under tax info that my W9 was verified. It is also showing my bank information as well.  I noticed that Meta keeps putting the wrong telephone number under Payout account info/Business phone number.  Each time I try to update the information, it continues to put the incorrect number in.  Can someone help me with a solution?  Please Ive been trying to fix this for awhile now and I’m frustrated.I will be so grateful to a solution!QueenSolomonforPREZ

For some reason, casting on the software on my PC is not working. Idk exactly what is happening, but even after reinstalling the program, the casting is always stuck on this.I've tried reinstalling the program, adding exceptions for the Quest program on the firewall, fully disabling the firewall, and I've even reinstalled Windows (it worked once after reinstalling Windows, but I couldn't get it working after. Note that I connected, disconnected, and it stopped working) but I still haven't found a solution. The only thing I haven't done yet is wiping the Quest itself.Also, when I tried accessing the support page to report this problem, it says that I have no devices linked to my account, even though my device is linked and logged in as normal. It even shows up on the auth.meta devices page, but not on the meta.com devices page.Any help would be appreciated. (Also, sorry if something doesn't fully make sense, English is not my main language :P)

Somewhere around a recent update (in the range of in the last 1-3 months?) I noticed that my performance in Beat Saber has become significantly choppier. The more notes on screen at once the worse it gets. I've ensured that it's up to date (the Meta Link setting is set to automatic updates). It feels like it's maybe related to Meta Link itself, since I had my buddy install Beat Saber through Steam on the same PC and it ran perfectly fine through that.The game used to be my main workout source and I have been forced to pursue other (more real-life) solutions, if you can believe that. It's disgusting really, having to interact with reality. I'd really like to be able to get back to regularly disappearing into a false construct and numb existence with colorful lights and loud music more often. If you have any helpful information, please let me know. 

Not sure where to put this.  My new system has the RTX 5080, and my headset states I have V 78.510 on my old and dying system. I would like to move over to my new system, but as of now, it does not support my headset.  Would updating to the V97 help? If I manually update, would I use my old system, then start using my new system?

How to prevent the oculus program from lauching automatically whem windows starts ?

I was trying to login but chose receving a text message/whatsup but I have next received one with a code. I then selected to receive a code using the App but finally got in.I checked my account settings. It looks App authentication is listed first and SMS is listed second. Does the meta automatically disable SMS is App is there? It is confusing and the login process is always a pain to me.

So i was in Steamlink to the PC watching a movie in bigscreen with a friend and well the headset just shutdown , low battery , i checked my power settings and it says that its going to give a battery low warning and also a voice warning both are ticked but yet no warning no notification at all , just a shutdown , i don't know if this is a common issue or  perhaps that feature does not work when using Steam link ? Just thought it was rather strange , i admit i dont get a flat battery very often so i cant say that it happens all the time, but just this once was inconvenient as if i had known it was getting low i could have plugged it in rather then having the people i was connected with loose the stream i was sharing .I also have an external battery pack but sometimes when i plug that in it says some weird stuff about water in the usb socket when theres no water any where near the socket which perhaps is due to low charge on the external battery pack as it does not seem to happ

I have not been able to get worlds even though I live in the UK and everything links to the UK I have no VPN but all I get is that it isn't available but it gives me suggestions on worlds to play but can download or install on computer or vr it's states not available what am I doing wrong?
