This problem occurred to me 2-3 days ago when I just want to play some vr games with my quest pro controller that I have had for maybe 2-3 years now, and then my controllers need updating which I wait for them to update. But when I check on my controllers to see the purple light, it only appears for 3 seconds before going away and my headset keeps saying update starting even though it doesn’t start. I have waited like an hour for them to update but they don’t, so now I have to resort to my quest 2 controllers until I figure out the problem.
Hello, I need help removing a Quest 2 device that is still listed on my Meta account. I performed a factory reset on my headset without removing it from the Meta Quest app first. Now, when I try to pair the Quest 2 again, it shows the same pairing code as before, and the app gives me an error because the old device is still associated. Please remove the old/ghost device from my account so I can pair my Quest 2 again. Thank you!
I have an account through the Meta Quest Link, and I know it works as I have signed in recently in friends machine. I have installed the software on a proper, brand-new Windows 10 install. When I click 'Login', my browser opens to 'https://auth.meta.com/language', but nothing pops up to confirm the login, and nothing happens on the Meta Quest Link software. When I wear the headset, I can see the 'Please Log In' message. I have tried:1) Updating Windows 10 to the absolute newest version, including optional updates2) Re-installing the Meta Quest Link software.3) Resetting my Facebook password and making sure my account can be logged into on a separate device4) Changed my default browser between Chrome, Firefox, Edge, OperaGX, and Internet Explorer.5) Installing and re-installing the AMD Adrenalin GPU chipset drivers.6) Completely re-installing Windows 10 from scratch.Despite all above attempts, the login page simply refuses to acknowledge or allow my Meta Quest Link software to login.
I dimmed it down and it's still not dark enough. It is too bright. pls allow user to reduce brightness much more!
I've found a bug with the Oculus Link software using the official link cable and Quest 3. Every time I try to play some relatively demanding PCVR titles or enter some heavy worlds in VRChat, after the computer stutters for a few seconds for loading, the headset tracking and the streamed video feed go completely out of sync. The frame rate in the demanding scene after loading is high and smooth, but the video feed in the headset is a bit delayed relative to my head movement, resulting in an extremely nauseous experience. Even after I quit the demanding game and returned to Oculus Dash, the problem remains, and the video feed is still delayed. This bug can be reproduced consistently. Reconnecting the Oculus link briefly eliminates the problem, but the delay happens again when I try to load scenes. This makes the Oculus link unusable. Any solutions? PC spec: Dell G15 Laptop (i7-12700H, RTX3060, 16g RAM, Plugged in wall). Quest 3 connected via Thunderbolt port
While I was contacting support, I managed to resolve the issue myself. Since support told me to post it on the forum, I'm writing it here. I am Japanese and not proficient in English, I am using DeepL【Issue】I use Quest Touch Pro controllers with my Quest 3.When I started up the Quest 3, a notification appeared saying the Quest Touch Pro controllers needed updating, and it displayed “Starting update.” However, even after waiting 20 minutes, the update did not begin. The Quest Touch Pro's menu button was functional, so it wasn't that the system wasn't recognizing it. 【Resolution】Updating the Quest 3 headset itself allowed the controller update to complete successfully.*Updating the Quest 3 headset requires performing the update operation from the settings menu using either hand tracking or a Quest 3 controller. The following is my hypothesis:The update notification contained the trigger for the Quest Touch Pro controller update, but the controller update file was included within
I’ve been trying to pair my Meta Quest 3 with my gaming laptop using Air Link. On my Quest 3, I can select my PC and press “Pair,” but nothing happens—no prompt appears on my PC, and the headset does not connect.Using a Link Cable works perfectly fine, but I don’t have a high-quality cable, so I would like to use Air Link instead, as it would be much more convenient.I’ve also noticed that other people on the forums are experiencing the same problem, and the ones I’ve seen all seem to be using laptops or gaming laptops. I’m not sure if this is related, but it could be worth notingThings ive triedBoth PC and Quest are on the same 5 GHz network.Firewall and antivirus disabled.Oculus PC app run as administrator.Oculus services restarted.Reinstalled Oculus PC app completely.Verified router allows LAN communicationConfirmed Air Link is enabled in headset and PC.Setup details:PC: Laptop with RTX 3050 GPUOS: Windows 11Quest: Quest 3Oculus PC app: Newest version
A developer friend was looking for some information yesterday and I directed them to the community forums. This visit triggered an email that notified me I had earned a badge. I've been around forever, but only just started referencing this forum more because I'm working on my own VR game now. 😃It turns out I have 21 badges! I love this. For reference, I'm the kind of worker who will volunteer for work so it can be assigned to me on Slack because when it's done I get to mark "task complete" and enjoy a flying narwhale or unicorn or other visual treat. 😁These badges are fantastic. Not fancy, but I like the idea of doing things to earn a reward. 🏅 Most things in life can be gamified and people are missing out on many opportunities to give & receive joy if they don't leverage that. Regardless of someone's age or other demographics, gamification and being rewarded for your efforts is appealing. 😍Anyway, I think it's very cool. Favorite ones I've earned a
Hi yes I recently got a meta quest 2 from a friend and I had to factory reset it but when I did it showed the tutorial for a bit and then shut off and showed me only a gray screen and the controllers key on vibrating and I reseted it multiple times and it won’t work please help me.
The only reason I use my Meta Quest 2 is for VR Biking. The latest software update caused the signal to my cadence sensor to drop out about every ten seconds. I tried to contact support, and the system says my serial number isn't valid after I verified it multiple times. It's not a refurbished headset...I bought it directly from the Meta Store. Because of this, I cannot contact tech support, meaning I now just have an expensive paperweight.I am experiencing multiple issues with my Meta Quest 2. First, my Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) cadence sensor, which has worked reliably for two years, now intermittently loses connection despite a fresh battery, no nearby interfering devices, and the headset being on a 5 GHz network. Second, when I enter the correct serial number as requested, the system reports that the device does not exist, preventing me from accessing official support. I have verified the serial number multiple times and can provide proof of purchase. I need assistance in manually
It's been almost a month since I ordered my glasses, I bought them on the 16th of last month. After 3 weeks I contacted support and they told me they couldn't reach me Then they asked me for my ID card, I sent it and thought that would be enough, but no.And now they were supposed to arrive this Friday October 3rd, but it didn't happen. Today I woke up hoping they wouldn't postpone it again, and now they've done it until October 6th. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? What the hell is going on?
I'm not quite sure when this started happening, but it's regarding the Meta Quest Link App starting automatically when I boot up my PC.Sometimes, after I log in to Windows, there it is, running happily. At other times it isn't. In which case I start it up if I need it. Or it will sometimes start up by itself if I activate the headset.Sometimes it can take a very long time (up to about a minute) to start, displaying a small window with a Meta Logo and a rotating standby ring.Is this normal? Is there an issue?I preferred it as it was before - i.e. I start it when I choose to. I see no need for it to be running on my PC when I'm not using the headset, and really Meta should provide a "run on Windows startup" option in the app's settings to enable the user to choose.I am aware that this can be achieved by changing the status of the Oculus VR Runtime Service, but this is not something users should be expected to have to do.

I purchased a Quest 3 on 9/17 and it “shipped” on 9/18. It has been stuck in label created ever since and I have reached out to support multiple times and they either send me in a loop of automated messages, tell me my case has been “merged” or that they can’t give me an update. When am I supposed to expect Meta to actually ship the item to UPS? Is there a large delay, or do they just take forever to get the item to UPS? I am literally just looking for a straight answer yes or no or proof if my item is actually in transit and I want to know if I will receive my item. I am receiving from the USA.
Received an email a week or two ago about the driving range experience being upgraded. Allow me to ask a simple request. Is it possible to add some alignment sticks to the ground where your "feet" are placed. When you use the advanced section that shows club path, it's hard to know how accurate it is because you're basically just eyeballing how square your stance is to the center of the range. Thanks!
I'm trying to use my xbox controller to play a game and airlinked to my PC but when I use my controller it keeps making my head tracking as the mouse cursor so it's impossible to play a game using my controller. Can I turn off head tracking for mouse?
I'm really enjoying Bobber Bay Fishing by Horizon World's. I've completed my Fishdex on the main Island and am looking forward to trying Gator Grotto.... BUT.... I cannot buy any items (bobbers, poles, grotto pass, buckets) from the shop except for bait. Also, I've almost finished all the quests except for "catching a fish over 1770kg", which I have caught a fish over 1770kg but the quest won't show it completed. SO MANY people are experiencing this issue and nothing has been done to resolve it.
I was recently hacked but was able to get my account back. Everything has been fine and there has been no signs of the hacker trying to get back in as I have changed my passwords and ensured two factor authentication everywhere. I was able to change my name back to what it was but have done everything I can to try and change my DOB but it’s not working. I keep getting a message that the service is not available at the moment. I would really appreciate help in this as Facebook is notifying ppl that it’s my birthday on September 23, when that is in fact not my birthday.

So within the last few months my mic on my meta quest 3s went out so I found out they have a experimental option for a external mic, so I got a headset and a adapter to make it into a usb-c and i plug it in. And the good news is that it works, I have a working mic now. Butttt it won't play the audio threw the headphones. So I have a mic but no sound. All the things ive found on it is for quest link, which im not doing. Im doing stand alone. Just wondering if there's anyway I can use the external mic and still have sound.
Been using wireless earbuds Soundcore VR P10 with my Quest 3 for the last 2 years and they worked fine , even a passthrough charging , never had problems with connecting until last 2 quest updates .Now , my earbuds connect to dongle but there is no sound anymore . I tried every solution that I found on Google but nothing helped , still not working with my Quest 3 , but they work just fine on other devices . If any body had the same problem and fixed it , please share it .Thanks in advance !
Hello there! I woke up today to my Quest 3 headset suddenly not charging or turning on, the only thing it does when plugged in, is that the fan inside spins up and full speed for half a second and then stops and then it repeats. I have tried holding the power button for a while but that did not work. Please help me out.
Hi everyone,I’m developing an app for Meta Quest and I want to integrate a bug reporting system so that users can easily report issues directly from inside the app.Are there any recommended approaches for implementing this?Does Meta provide any built-in APIs or services for bug/feedback reporting? If not, are there any third-party SDKs (like for in-app bug reporting, crash logging, or feedback collection) that work well with Quest apps?Any guidance or resources would be really helpful. Thanks!
I've got the log back in on another device, and when I go to meta.com/device i am getting an error message, saying does not exist. Help please!
