When I factory reset my Meta Quest 3s, the screen just goes black, what should I do?I can't conected to quest 3s

TLDR: I fixed this by simply restarting my Quest 3 and also closing and restarting the Link app on my PC, but why did this weird glitch even happen?So I have a Quest 3 about 3 months old, using v78.1030 (aka v78.1027). Today, I happened to look in the library app and noticed that all my apps seemed to have disappeared. Then I saw that the "unknown sources" icon had appeared in the left panel and when I clicked on it, all the Meta apps (all my games and even the Quest's operating system apps) were all being listed as "unknown sources" (see screenshots). Weird. My headset still seemed to be fully working. Luckily, I had previously allowed apps from unknown sources in the settings, otherwise, who known what chaos would have ensued!I then took off my headset and restarted it, and noticed that the Meta Quest Link app on my PC had just popped up a message "your link pairing code has expired". If I record something in my Quest 3, is there a way to edit the start or end of the recording on my computer without using the headset? link to anysoftware?

I put out my old Quest 1 which i didn´t used for years.I read that i have to use now a Meta Account to use it.So i created a Meta Account and tried to connect it to my account.Tried to connect it via Bluetooth. The App says i should type in the code i see in my headset but there is no code visible. Nothing is shown in the headset.when i try to identiy my device with the seraial number it says it can not found the device.My Oculus account was also not connected to facebook.. so i can also not use the facebook login. How can i now  add my old Quest 1 to my account?I want to have access again to my game library on my Quest. Now i can not start any games :/Please help!

Quest 2 keeps dropping WifiIt's been a couple of weeks and HOURS of google searching and experimenting and it persist.I haven't timed it but it happens consistently every 5 minutes or so. Just long enough for me to load a game and join a server.Steps I have tried:Separate the 2.4ghz and 5ghz into different SSIDsRestart the WifiRestart the QuestEnable the Experimental feature option Disable Wifi refresh in the settings.Verbally degrading the hardware and threatening to replace itCreating a Voodoo doll of Zuckerberg with hair clippings bought off ebayWringing my hands in desperate anguish and screaming into the void.I have an ATT fiber router that's a foot away in the same room with clear line of sight.I have tried using different bands, 40/80/126Please help. Its sits on a blue light not flashing i can charge it but every time i try turning it on it sits on blue or i factory reset the controller still blue even unpairing the controller i cant even re pair it because it just sits on blue no wonder why people say not to buy these controllers its a waste of 300 bucks i even had troubles with it before this happened like not tracking i would have to turn them off and on about 20 times before even one would work

Hello Hello, I just bought a new meta quest 3 512gb with Batman Arkam Shadow included, but it does not have the game, I looked at my email and no code I was on the game store and it is marked that it is not free  I would like to have the games as it is indicated on the box

I don't use worlds often, about a month or so i tried to go to music and it say i cant visit worlds cause im restricted.  I have ever only interacted with friend on a game.  I never interact with people in worlds.  I never got an email or and kind of notification.  I don't know why or who could have reported me.  

Hi Folks,I just got a PowerA charging dock for my Quest 3 (the only dock I could find  in-stock that charges the headset using the 3 pads at the bottom of the headset instead of the USB-C port).  It's a luxury, but I really prefer docking to plugging/unplugging all the time.  I imagine my question applies generally to any dock that uses that connector since it seems to me like that must be a "dumb" connection (just power, ground, and a charging status wire), not USB or anything that can do much in the way of negotiation.Does anyone know what the Quest 3 is "supposed" to do when charging is happening through those pads?If an external power source (battery or charger) is connected to the headset USB-C port, does that get prioritized over the front pads?  Or do the pads take precedence?  Or do things catch on fire?  Or does the universe divide by zero?If a battery strap is connected to the USB-C port, can the headset charge it using power from the front charg

Hi, im from israel and when i try to buy stuff, it gives me an error. No explenation, just an error. I cannot change the credit card number, cannot do anything at the store.Do you have any idea? 

Okay so basically on my meta Quest 2 if I look around too fast it just turns to a certain direction I don't know how to fix it someone knows how to fix it please let me know 

My email got hacked and until I realized within 24 hrs. time, the hacker changed my email to another email on my instagram account than he connected some sort of Meta Horizon account, once I realized, I changed my email back on instagram account as well password changed and 2F authorization done but I am unable to remove the connected account added by hacker.Whenever i try to remove this meta horizon account from my instagram, they are asking to set new password for this meta account because standalone meta account without password cannot be used in instagram, if i try to create password than the verification goes to hacker meta horizon account which i dont have access.Any solution????

I faculty restarted my Oculus after years because it wouldn't let me back in and it keeps telling me to put in code and follow the instructions it tells you to but there is no instructions and I looked and I looked there's nowhere to put in a code so now I can't pay Oculus ever again

My phone said it paired but the Oculus said I need to put the code in to my phone 

On my account when i join a call i can hear my friends for two seconds then it cuts out. they can never hear me. my mic also doesnt work in any apps/games. I have tried restarting and other things. any ideas?

The VR connection both the Air-link & USB Cable launch works one day and then fail the next, the system is not stable, I have posted questions asked for a solution from Meta, NothingAll i see is speculations, guessing at a solution, trail and error, enough with the BS Meta needs to provide full documentation on a solution that has been tested and proven to work, be that a software fix or OS fix,I have the Quest 3, 512Gb top of the line device, a new high end gaming computer Having a device that does not work correctly namely the VR connection issue comes down to the poor engineering with all the millions Mr. Zuckerberg has with his access to technology his company is unable to produce a product that is functional, I just do not get it. Please do not respond with "have I tried this or that" i do not want any guesses, or some wild speculation on a system hack,  I want a proven engineered fix from Meta.Thank you Marcel LouisRocket Scientist..

A few days ago my Quest 3 rebooted by itself, showed an icon of a chip with an arrow pointing to it and a green progress bar, which most probably means it's trying to update the firmware. Since then I've tried literally everything, multiple reboots, factory reset, sideloading an update via the Meta web page (error connecting to device), got several firmware versions from cocaine.trade/Quest_3_firmware and sideloaded them with adb (which at least _appeared_ to do something), but the problem persists: After every reboot the device goes into that firmware update mode and after it, it's a black screen.Meta let me down... refusing any meaningful support and also the replacement of the device on the grounds that it's half a year out of warranty. I loved the Quest 3, but this horrible attitude towards the customer is shocking.

It would be great if the next meta quest had gps, this would give an infinite range of development possibilities.You could use the google maps api to make videogames where the map is the real world.Imagine pokemon go VR where you see your real environment full of pokemons, is an example.

I have the Quest 3 the airlink drops and the usb cable drops connection it shows the headset is connected but i get nothing, the device worked for a few days and then nothing but signal drops, I have a good cable, windows 11, new computer 32Gb of memory, gigs of space on the drive high end graphic card, drives up to date, but it will not stay connected.Anyone else having this issue, i have rebooted, and rebooted, shut down start up, connect disconnect, Airlink and then USB cable it makes no difference the connection just drops.GPU 5%, CPU 3% it is barely any load on the system.Not too happy with this device.  

My Oculus quest 2 won't charge even though I bought a new charger, first few months it was perfectly fine but then this week, it used to only charge at a certain angle, but now it won't charge at all.

Yesterday when i got home i picked up my headset from the charger to turn it on the led was green, but when i put it on the screen is full black. the led never came back after replunging it back in. I'm very confused it work perfectly fine before yesterday. i bought the quest 3 less then a year ago. I tried the trouble shooting like hold down the power for 20-30 seconds and the hold down power and volume down.I don't know what to do and I'm worried.

Is there a way to make this work? Laptop is best of best stuff, 12 gen I7, 64 Ram, 128MB Intel Iris XE graphics.
