This happens with both the left and right hand controllers. It works completely fine with absolutely no issues outside of most VR games as well as the Steam VR Desktop. The problem arises in certain Roblox games, FNAF Help Wanted, and several others. It'll function for a bit and then out of nowhere completely stop. The hand will freeze in place and lose tracking altogether, sometimes it's one hand, other times it's two. Sometimes the visor will blink into a black screen over and over while the game runs in the background. Tabbing out will remove the problem entirely, it'll resume after tabbing back in. It usually stops after around 30 seconds to a minute, then comes back after about as long. It's not caused by any specific movements, often we're doing absolutely nothing and it just breaks. Obviously, none of the copy-and-paste solutions work. Enabling and disabling motion tracking and hand tracking doesn't work. Changing the batteries has not worked, we've done that many times already.

Hi, I just got my new quest 3s I connected it to my meta horizon account but I don't see any games that I had on quest 2 and no contacts but its the same account is there anyone who got this too ?

So I have a quest 2 and I haven’t used it in a long time. (Around 2 years) Getting back on it at a new house (new internet connection) and get the message that I had been logged out and need to re log back in. Now I still have the app on my phone and when powering up the headset my app connected to my quest. But it still wants me to enter the code on meta and put in my email. When I try to do this I get this error code (It looks like there isn’t an account associated with and then my email) I know it’s the right email because I’ve logged in to everything I can with that email to test it and even looked on the app to see what email was on it. I haven’t changed the email so that’s not the issue. I’ve read through some of the forms and through the help through meta but haven’t been able to fix this issue. I’ve restarted the headset multiple times and done a 30 second power on off a 1 minute and 5 minute. I really don’t want to factory reset the headset or make a new account being that I s

I was thinking that maybe apps could use an API to put icons in the bar for easier and more built-in navigation, it also looks kinda nice to me, I just put random icons but developers can choose their own and where it would take you too

Can't say exactly when this happened, but OS versions beginning with 6 definitely didn't do this.The problem is that connecting my quest 3 to a USB 3.1 port on my motherboard will create a software VIA LABS USB3 hub with one port, into which a software VIA LABS USB 2 hub will appear with 4 ports and the quest 3 will be connected to ports 1 and 2 of this new fictional hub which of course limits me to USB 2 bandwidth.These hubs have hardware IDs identifying VIA LABS but draw and supply no power. There are NO hardware VIA devices in this PC.This is an annoyance obviously and impacts the available resolution due to artificially constrained bandwidth.Additionally if I disable or uninstall these "devices" the quest will not connect to the PC at all until the PC is restarted at which point the two VIA hubs magically reappear and I'm once again stuck. If I move the USB A end of the cable to another port the VIA hub simply moves with it.Any ideas anyone?

I bought elite strap. Had to remove the faceplate to get the new strap on but now the right side of the faceplate button depth adjustment won't lock.Any advice?

When I go to set OpenXR on standard, nothing happens. And I have been doing stuff inte he registry and a lots more, but nothing seems to work. I am drowning in desperate need of help. Because I want to play my steamVR games but I can’t. And when I play without OpenXR on standard which I can’t put it on it just lag and crashes. So my 100€ went to waste. I spent 100€ on games I can’t even play. Well done, well done. Pls help me as quickly as possible!

I recently bought three games on Steam to play on my Quest 2, but unfortunately, they aren't working. I try opening Steam VR and going home, but it always crashes. Then I tried to use Pavlov Vr: It works for a little then suddenly crashes every time it appears like lines throughout the screen and completely freezes. Also, when opening Pavlov, a notification appears saying, "Oculus HMDs should use Oculus open XR runtime," but when I check the Oculus app, I see the button but can't press it I have no idea what is the problem please help.

It was just the headset itself, no controllers. When I powered it on, I saw it still had the previous owner's account on it. My Quest side arm has one side that's a little higher than the other. Could this cause any problems? It's been like this for a few months now, and I'm worried because some AIs I asked said it was, and I'm really scared. I'll try to post a photo for you to see. Actually, I don't feel any discomfort or image defect with it like this. I just want to know if there's a problem.  

Hi,I've observed a consistent issue with Meta Quest Link (tested with Quest 3 and Windows 11 PC):Scenarios:Internet available (PC online):  → Headset connects instantly via Air Link or cable. Everything works flawlessly.No internet (PC offline):  → Headset gets stuck during connection with black screen, the Meta logo and controller lasers, then freezes — never reaches the desktop. Link app on the PC shows that the headset is connectedInternet available during Meta Link app launch, then disconnected:  → Headset connects normally, even after internet is lost.This suggests that the Meta Quest Link app requires internet during startup, likely for authentication. Once it's launched with internet, it works fine even after going offline.Request:Please consider allowing the Meta Link app to start without internet for local-only use. This would greatly help users in offline or secure network environments.Thanks!

anyone knows how to solve it?

My left controller pairs and shows its paired. But will not show up in my vr head set. But it shows its connected in the headset. I did all the troubleshooting.. paired re-paired.. changed battles. Reset my headset back to factory settings. 

Hello, first off all my pc specs are AMD ryzen 7 9800, nvidea 5080 32gb vram. I bought the quest 3s a couple days ago to play ets2 and MSFS24. Now i started ets2 but it's unplayeble because of stutters and lag. I use Meta link with cable connection 2.8 on the test cable. My pc is connected with ethernetcable and my vr goggles with wifi. I think the problem is more in the settings then my pc. I also thought my wifi is not strong enough. Maybe someone can help me here, i tryed alot of different settings i found on YouTube but nothing seems to help.Even on 72, 80, 90hz. The problem still occurse. Halfcap the frames does not help and lowering the in-game graphics. I'm totally lost.Thanks in advance, a lost player.

Hello, Have been experiencing issues with my Meta Quest 3S controllers and the uncontrollable drifting issues. Using games on it, such as WIN Reality and Golf+. The issue is really bad with using the WIN Reality game.I've done the following:Factory Reset on the VR Headset, Unpaired / paired the controllers, recalibrated both controllers, and uninstalled / reinstalled both games. Reached out to WIN Reality Support, who had made an adjustment to how the game would set up. They have since reverted back to their original setup. I pulled out my Oculus 2 headset, charged it, and added new batteries to the controllers. Launched the WIN Reality App to see if the controller using the Short Bat attachment would have the same drifting issue. It did not; I used it with no issues at all. Didn't even have to recalibrate either controller

Hi dearswhen i added new account to my headset sucessfully, there is appearing “switch account message” but as I click on it says “cannot create code” or “ somethinh went wrong”. I have a meta 3s vr headset, but my headset won't turn on. I haven't been on it in a few weeks, but it was just working fine. no water has touched it, nothing got into it, and it was fully charged. but every time I press the on button the white light turns on it just doesn't stay on for long, I thought to hold the power button but it just kept blinking, after a few more tries the light barley comes on now, when I charge it the orange light doesn't even work, it won't charge, it's just pitch black, there's no air, nothing. it won't turn on and nothings working. please help me.
