I'm guessing one of the updates borked things up?100's of 1000's of them on C drive I'm not the only one

My husband and I have separate accounts and one Oculus Quest 2. I was able to play Beat Saber we purchased on his account using mine. I just bought a music pack add-on with his account. I went into mine and it's asking me to buy it again. I don't understand why I can play the game but not the add-on. It's a family Oculus and if I want to have my own account to track my own progress outside my husband I should be able to. It's not like we can play the same game together since it's the same Oculus. 

Hi, I've seen contradictory information regarding WiFi 7 support on Quest 3. I'm currently testing WiFi 7 router and it seems Quest 3 connects in WiFi 6 mode.   Is WiFi 7 something that will be enabled with firmware update or hardware limits it to 6/6e?

So y'all know your meta app for PC software is to much for medium sized PC that sometimes people install a lot and I don't feel like uninstalling everything for it so I was suggesting you put into steam for people who don't have much space on PC for the app itself but have room for it on steam just to make things easier for them sorry if it like I'm being mean but im being honest with y'all I just hope you think about it like that if you do

RemoteDesktopCompanion.exe creates literally tens of thousands, sometimes millions of files like fba_XXXXX.json in the root of the C: driveIt gets to the point where computers start to slow down and disk space runs out.I don't think this kind of program behavior is acceptable.Please take action.Thank you.===========================PS.Ok, I found a solution on one forum, at least a temporary one.You need to rename the RemoteDesktopCompanion.exe fileIt is possible that the running OVRservice will not allow you to do this, so you need to stop it first. Here is a bat file that will do all this for you:1. Stop the OVRservice2. Rename RemoteDesktopCompanion.exe3. Delete all created json files4. Start OVRservice again net stop OVRservice ren "C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-remote-desktop\RemoteDesktopCompanion.exe" "RemoteDesktopCompanion.exe.old" del c:\fba*.json /q net start OVRservice 

Hello, I just bought vr quest 2 256 GBI setup everything, first time asked me to put WiFi username and password, its started doing update then controller updatesAfter that the headset reboot and went another initial setup whenever I went to WiFi screen it's not working it's says searching for networks but foreverI tried everything, reset factory, system update online, restart my router, trying to add WiFi on my phone it's not working  Please I am stuck at WiFi screen I can't go on the system

Extremely Disappointed in the team for discontinuing Android support. Read a post that said to make a post and make it known so here I am. Being active is the reason I bought this headset in the first place. I use it to sweat 80% of the time I'm using it. You'd think they'd have the resources for such a simple thing that we had previously. Really annoyed, and hope I'm not alone in this.

I have two accounts connected to my Quest 2 — my admin account and my friend's Meta account. How can I remove my friend's account from my Quest without resetting it? I can't find any way to do this. Please help.

Got sick and tired of the pain from the supplied strap and 'upgraded' to the luxury one with battery pack?Was it worth it ? 😉I mean apart from the comfort level....A lot of times people do seated experiences or want to just watch some movies.Problem then is that you quickly run out of juice.The battery strap gives a little bit extra but nowhere near of what we would expect based on the capacity of the added battery.The beauty of bad management when it comes to draining the additional battery first, then the internal, rather than trying to keep the internal battery charged by abusing the battery strap.And like it or not: Even then you can struggle badly to keep the headset running.One solution the support suggests is to upgrade to their expensive 45W charger.If you do you get a little improvement but still no continuous use.And things do get warm if you try to charge a battery that the headset keeps draining.So WHAT IS the issue here ?

I'm not the social type, I prefer to play games, watch something on youtube etc. However, today, for a change, I went into Meta Horizon to explore.I was fooling around handing out donuts to get a sticker and a Meta community guide joined my lobby. Unfortunately I can't remember the name, but the avatar was dressed in a blue whale suit with bluish white hair. Everything nicely matched the mentioned suit.Full professionalism, lots of positive energy. The employee chatted with the children, friendly interaction with others, resolved a misunderstanding well. Even helped others with a problem leaving the app.Good job Meta Guide.

Dear Meta Team,I’d like to suggest a trade-in program for Quest 2 users looking to upgrade to the Quest 3. Many of us have invested in the Quest ecosystem and would love an affordable way to transition to the latest hardware. A trade-in option directly through Meta could incentivize more users to upgrade while keeping them engaged in your platform.Some potential benefits:Encourages Quest 2 owners to stay within the Meta VR ecosystem.Provides an eco-friendly way to recycle older headsets.Makes upgrading more financially accessible.Are there any plans for such a program? I think this would be a win-win for both Meta and the community.

Will quest players ever get standalone playspace mover? it would be nice.

What I think is that there should be some kind of easter egg in the settings that allows us to go back to the older oculus menu. (The one around 2021-2022) as in my opinion it was smaller and more simple to use which made it better. The new menu feels a bit cluttered in my opinion. This might seem a bit ridiculous at first but it's mostly just a suggestion. Thx for reading

We bought 3 Oculuses for Christmas for our family of 4.On my wife's device, she enabled sharing with my son's Oculus.  He can see her purchased games.When I log int onto my wife's device and switch user to me, I can't see any purchased games.  She says this is because you can only share with 1 device, and that is my son's device.  Sounds like our 3rd Oculus is "stranded" on it's own.  We've dropped $1200 on Oculus hardware.  I expected that when the "main account" bought games, then the rest of the family would be able to play them also. I guess we could just log into all 3 oculuses with my wife's account, but then if you have any games with saved progress you break that functionality. How does the sharing work?
