I am trying to watch VR videos using the in built meta quest browser - but I only get the wepbage. How do I enable VR mode?  

This saddens me and basically does Meta and RayBan out of a sale. What kind of business plan is that?

It's just like my audio completely disappeared. I was playing games with the audio just fine like a week ago and searched all about this when it stopped working, and nothing works. My audio for my computer is Headphones (Oculus Virtual Audio Device) and it's at half volume and "Hear computer audio in VR" is on. I tried going to the control sound panel thing on my computer and nothing seems to work, idk whats happening but this needs to be fixed

Hey guys! Seems only right that I talk about this. This year seems to be a really good year for The Lord Of The Rings/ J.R.R. Tolkien Community, and I wanted to share what's happened so far. 1. The LoTR animated film, The War of the Rohirrim, is set to release later this year. There are already some concepts arts released for it, so hopefully we get a trailer for it some time soon. 2. It has been announced that WB will be releasing 2 new Lord Of The Rings-based movies. with Peter Jackson returning to lead the films. The first movie is planned to release in 2026 and is titled The Hunt For Gollum.  3. Lastly; Rings of Power season 2 just released its first trailer, and I am so excited for it! The season premiere is set for August 29th.    Overall, I'm very excited for the rest of this year!

How many of you are actively playing Helldivers 2? I have a few RL friends who started playing at launch, and I avoided it since I figured it was just another extraction shooter. Boy was I wrong! The tactics in this game are far beyond the standard FPS style found in every other game, from Halo to DeepRock to Destiny.  Helldivers 2 has some very serious wartime combat strategizing, and I love it. If there was ever a first-person action game that needed to be in VR, this is it! For any of you out there playing Helldivers 2 and looking for a group, feel free to post it in this thread. Cheers!

Hello people, I need help. I recently got a Quest 2 and I'm trying to connect it to my PC with the link cable. For some reason, Windows thinks the oculus is a phone, so it's automatically trying to import photos and videos from the headset, which interrupts and disconnects Link, then it connects link again, and windows does the same again. When I connect the headset to my PC, the headset asks if I allow the PC to acces the files on the oculus. If i allow, it starts doing what I wrote earlier. If i deny, it does a loop of disconnecting and connecting and asking to access the files again every second. How can I make it work? Has anyone had this issue? Please help.

This started after the most recent update.  Just wanted to know if this is a known issue with a fix before I reach out to the Support team.The Quest home menu is at the correct height. Every game I start, however, appears much lower then it did before the update. For example in Beat Saber my eyes are level with the heading "Campaign"/"Solo" whereas before my eyes were level with the 3rd-4th song in the list.  While playing the game the blocks are now between my knees and ankles. Before they would have been at chest level. I've tried a bunch of other games and they all seem to be affected.Things I've tried.Re-starting the quest.Resetting the guardian.Trying both stationary and room scale guardian modes.Any other ideas?Thanks

Hi,I have spent the past several hours attempting to run the initial Oculus Setup, but every time I get past the Terms and Conditions I get a screen saying that I cannot connect to the Oculus Servers (which I know is false--my Internet is working fine). After scrolling through several other forums and posts, I think if I am able to install the App onto any drive besides my C: drive (I have three drives -- C:, D:, and F:), my problems will be solved. BUT, I cannot figure out how to start the installation on my F: drive. I have tried to follow the steps on this page: https://support.oculus.com/help/oculus/1676275305961321/numerous times. Whenever I enter "OculusSetup /drive:F" into Run, Windows replies something similar to:"Windows cannot find 'OculusSetup'. Please check your spelling and try again."If anyone has suggestions for installing on separate drives, any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

So I just got my Quest 2 and I'm having trouble getting it paired up with my phoneI don't know if I put in a wrong code, but it's taking a long while and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, restart the Quest and even did a factory reset, and they're both connected to the same internet serverAm I doing something wrong or am I just impatient?

I just purchased a MX Keys S keyboard. I like the feel and touch, but I am not used to this type of keyboard. I have been using a traditional keyboard for a long time with keys that did not need explanation (i.e. numbers lock, scroll lock, print screen, etc.). This new keyboard has nothing that I can relate to in performing any of the mentioned functions. I had the keyboard installed without any further guidance or instructions. So I did not set it up. I am not a techie by any means, so is there anyone who can help me make the transition from a traditional keyboard to this new one? All help would be appreciated. Thank you.

We run a VR lab at the University with 19 Oculus Rift and 4 HTC Vive stations, open to all faculty, staff, and students.  We require each user to sign into Windows with their own University account, and to create their own Oculus account.  Beginning in mid February, new Oculus users have hit a brick wall in their Oculus setup, with Oculus error OVR88948175.Oculus is evidently trying to download something to "C:\Program Files\Oculus\Software", which requires admin privileges -- even though the Oculus software is already fully installed on the machine.  If a user clicks the "Change Location" button and navigates into their own folder space, it has no effect:The pathname in the dialog doesn't change -- which is an obvious bug -- and there's no way past this error.  We've been discussing this with Oculus support, but their bottom line is:  "we aren't able to provide much support for this situation, since we recommend using an admin account with the software." 

Why does nobody reply to my post's? my oculus quest 2 controllers keep acting up  The controllers are awful it seems like someone is controlling this thing or someone has been using these controllers  my character keeps floating around and going in the wrong direction and on the left controller the menu options keep cycling around different options like duplicate green,  lock red  this is very irritating and makes it difficult to finish the map I'm trying to make.

Hi guys, hope you all are having good days with your work. I am Dom, I have been developing applications for Quest for approximately a year. The last 6 months I have been diving into the MR development for Quest 3. I am a freshly graduate so the experience and opportunities are much more vital than the income. I have got an MR project with Quest 3 on Upwork in February. But since then, I did not land any other projects or collborations. So I am wondering how do you guys look for jobs or opportunities (I would love the remote opportunities only since I am living in Vietnam) I will also leave my portfolio here in case you have some advise to improve it.
