Ive checked my wifi router and it’s working fine, but any online games on meta won’t work even though my headset has a good internet connection, the problem started happening a month before but was gone and was only spearing every week, but know it’s really bad and doesn’t work at all since April 29th at around 7pm, I don’t know if something happened then and it hasn’t been resolved but the problem is not on my end, anyone know what’s going on? Could there also be a software update I need that I didn’t get yet? I’m on version 2.3 and it says I’m up to date.
I’ve been having issues with my left controller joystick. It won’t move correctly for a seemingly random amount of time, then after that it works perfectly fine. The problem is that the headset won’t interpret the joystick movements correctly, so for example if I push it to move forward, it may move only slightly forward or not at all. The time that these issues has varied incredibly, from only one day, to many months with the issue. It was endurable previously because the issue only arose for directions like left, right and backward. But now it’s not understanding forward movement. I’ve tried replacing the battery, and factory resetting the controller multiple times, but the only thing that ever works is just waiting for it to fix itself. Is there any way of actually fixing that isn’t just buy a new controller?
I own a 5 pair quest3 device and make one account to company. I have a questions. How i can buy 5 game to each quest3 device. Do i need make a 5 different account ?
Hi everyone! I am a 3 year old quest user, and have finally gotten the money to upgrade from my old quest 2. Though, I am stuck. I don't know what headset to go to, the quest 3 or 3S. I am also wondering, is it even worth upgrading? My quest works more than okay right now, but I would like the extra power, and new apps. Please give me your input, thanks!
Currently getting this message in 2 different areas - When trying to view all of my past referrals, and when accessing my Quest Achievements (Now that I own games with a cumulative total of 10,000 Achievements). Any way to increase the data request size?
Every time I try to buy a game it comes up with a message We've noticed something unusual and, for your security, this request couldnt be completed. Please file an appeal to get your case reviewed

My meta quest link app says my display is working and says my headset is connected and active but my headset it showing the orange light and is black when I cover the sensor. Ive also tried adding the ovrserver64x to my graphics settings and still nothing i really have no idea how to fix this. My new pc specs are:NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPERAMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-core

Dear Community, I have a problem running Meta Quest Remote Desktop on Windows 11 Pro 23H2 (Build 22631.4037). Installation with Meta Quest Remote Desktop Setup.msi (Version from 13.8.24) works fine and shows no errors. However, when Opening the App Meta Quest Remote Desktop nothing happens and in the task manager MQRDCrashpadHandler is shown for 1-2 seconds. How can I install the Meta Quest Remote Desktop App on my machine. Happy to collect further data to solve the problem. Thanks in advance, Tobias
We need a way to restore the old UI. This new UI is flat out terrible.
I have had my Quest 3 for 3 weeks and a few things.I loaded Virtual Desktop in my Meta App, when I launch it to use it for Star Citizen, my native resolution drops on both of my monitors. from 3840X2160 to 2560X1600 and then on my 2nd monitor 2715X1527 to 1680X1050. How can I make this stop?2nd Issue is I power off the quest 3, have it attached to an official Meta Quest Link cable on USB-c but it will not charge. Nothing will charge it and it just turns itself back on and runs out and will not charge. I can get it to charge on a wall adaptor.I have pressed and held the power and volume button and gotten to the menu and done shutdown, but it still will not charge. I see the yellow light come on, but it is not charging. And i have held the power button for 3+ seconds and still not charging.Help on these 2 issues
Hey everyone, and hopefully Meta Support,I just bought a Quest 3 from a third-party seller who claimed it was "brand new and factory-sealed." However, when I opened the box and checked the controllers, I found Chinese "NANFU" AA batteries inside (see attached picture).I contacted the seller, and they claimed: "Meta officially uses NANFU batteries in some Quest 3 batches." I highly doubt this. So, I have a quick question for Meta Support:Has Meta EVER shipped the Quest 3 with "NANFU" brand batteries straight from the factory?I would really appreciate a quick confirmation so I know how to handle this with the seller. Thanks!
I have multiple quest headsets and multiple accounts. I can't log in to the account I previously registered with Facebook because the email address on my Facebook account has since changed to the one I used to register another headset with. I can't log in to my previous email address. Can you help me figure out what to do?
The portal you see at Meta Horizon Central shows something called "Go" at its bottom, it supposed to transfer me to another virtual world when I press this, but this isn't work, I need to know why!
I've ran into a problem last year (2025) and idk what month it was I believe it was late August, and basically I was up for a long time that night playing Contractors Shodown Exfilzone and everything was running smooth as butter, crystal clear gameplay, graphics and an overall great performance. The day after, I woke up and did my own thing for a bit and noticed my headset was not charging right because there was no charging light, checked the cable All good, but when I turned the headset on it showed the regular loading screen, THENNN I saw absolutely nothing. Just grey, like the headset was definitely still on, I heard the booting noise beforehand and I could hear the fans on the just blank screen. So I though "i'll just leave it till the evening" Then the evening hits, I'm ready to play yet it still won't run, doing the same thing over and over. So I tried searching and none of what I found work, so I put it up on display and its been sitting on display for almost a whole year. Fast
Hello,My Meta Quest 3S is completely stuck in bootloader/fastboot mode after switching the active slot.Details:The device was running fine on slot B.In the reboot menu there was a button to change slot, I switched to slot A.After switching, the system no longer boots. The slot change button disappeared from the reboot menu. Now every option in bootloader (Boot device, Recovery, Reboot) just reloads bootloader again I cannot boot into system or recovery at all.Fastboot info:current-slot: aslot-unbootable:a:yesslot-unbootable:b:noBootloader locked (unlocked:no)fastboot --set-active=b FAILED (remote: 'Operation Not Permitted')So I am stuck in a bootloop and cannot switch back to slot B or boot into recovery.Could you please help me either force switch to slot B or provide a recovery image/software repair?
I have 2 Quest 2's and one updated to 79.1032 but the other one is still at 79.1028. I've done everything suggested (leave it powered on and connected to Wi-Fi, on a flat surface and don't block internal sensor), but it's been a week and no update. Is there something else I should be doing?
It's been a while since people have talked about this, but now windows 11 is currently the largest in market share value compared to other platforms. Windows 10 has the ability to use hand tracking while using the link cable but windows 11 just... doesn't? It doesn't seem to make sense. I also want to clarify that I have used hand tracking through third party apps (steam link specifically) but those kill my performance as my Wi-Fi can't keep up with the bandwidth needed. I would prefer to use my link cable but currently there's just no option unless I go back to windows 10... but that would require me to redownload EVERYTHING on my computer and possibly end up losing files. Yes I play games where hand tracking is supported (this often gets brought up in discussions about the topic, games that support it exist, that's not the issue. the link app doesn't support it, the games do. I play vrchat for example). I would just like to know if meta has any plans to actually update the functional
I've been tried variable ways and none of them work. Different intents I have tried either redirects me to horizon os app permission page or flat out does not work.I have only been able to open the 'Allow wireless debugging on this network' window. Issue with this it does not have fixed port for ADB. What I want is to open the 'Developer' Setting window and enter the 'Pair device with pairing code' window. I have tired the following without good results:Settings.ACTION_APPLICATION_DETAILS_SETTINGSIntent("android.settings.WIRELESS_DEBUGGING_SETTINGS")Intent().setClassName("com.android.settings", "com.android.settings.Settings$WirelessDebuggingActivity")Intent().setClassName("com.android.settings", "com.android.settings.SubSettings").putExtra(":settings:show_fragment", "com.android.settings.development.WirelessDebuggingFragment")`Intent().setClassName("com.android.settings", "com.android.settings.DevelopmentSettings")`Intent(Settings.ACTION_APPLICATION_DETAILS_SETTINGS)Any suggestio
I downloaded the Meta Horizon Link update, and afterward, my third-party games disappeared. When I try to add them, I get the error "An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later. (OVR53744741)No path supplied (1971039)"
The Meta Quest forums are essentially a bustling virtual village where every resident is wearing a headset, half the houses are on fire, and at least three people are shouting "MY CONTROLLER WON'T TURN ON" at any given moment. At the town gates, the Announcements board proudly displays official updates from Meta -carefully crafted posts that immediately gather 239 comments, half of which are people saying: "This broke my headset" and the other half asking when the next update is coming because this one broke their headset. Wander a little further and you'll find Pairing & Connection - a district built entirely out of error messages. Here, villagers gather to compare their favorite cryptic warnings like "Water and Debris Detected" (even though the headset hasn't been near water, debris, or sometimes even oxygen). One resident insists their right controller simply "gave up on life," while another is convinced Windows 11 is personally out to sabotage hand tracking. Across the street i
Okay so the title kind of sums it, but I have used a quest 2 for about 6-ish years. Well my little sibling gave me his headset (the Quest 3S) to play on and mess with well I would usually play the headsets connected to a pc via Virtual Desktop. So I am having an issue with the sleep mode on the headset. I changed it to 15 minutes so when I go to do something for a couple minutes it won't shut off while I am afk. Well the problem is, it still goes to sleep after a minute of the headset being inactive. And there isn't a proximity sensor from what I have noticed so is there a way to fix the timer so I don't have to keep refixing my stuff for my games just because the headset turns off?
Hello,For some apparent reason my right quest 3 controller will not power on no matter what, no lights or or any vibrations. This is a fairly new device that has not been used too much. Batteries have been replaced, have hard reset my quest 3 headset and tried re-pairing the controllers again, however, nothing happens. The left controller is perfectly fine
