I can see the .exe fired up in the Task Manager. However, the application doesn't start. I can't use it.How to troubleshoot?Where to fond log files and issues so I can post and fix this?I can't do anything without the app. Thanks for any help, appreciate it!
Meta Horizon Summer Camp world. Any documentation available on allowing multiple players for the Firefly Game? I want to add a second net.I've already added a leaderboard to track how many fireflies are caught. Fixed the OriPos. But I can't seem to get a second net added. It would be fun with a friend. 😁TIA for any direction.
I want a door (Worlds portal) to appear when a player enters a trigger. It's set to invisible by default. Script1 makes the door visible on enter and hides it on exit, but the info panel (a child of the door) stays visible. I’d like the info panel to follow the door’s visibility automatically. Script2 treats the door and info panel as seperate objects and doesn't work. thx script1 import { Entity } from 'horizon/core';import * as hz from 'horizon/core'; class ToggleDoorVisibility extends hz.Component<typeof ToggleDoorVisibility> { static propsDefinition = { door: { type: hz.PropTypes.Entity }, }; start() { const doorEntity = this.props.door!; if (!doorEntity) return; // When a player enters the trigger, make the door visible this.connectCodeBlockEvent(this.entity, hz.CodeBlockEvents.OnPlayerEnterTrigger, () => { doorEntity.visible.set(true); &

Vote on Your Top 5 Priorities from the May MHCP Creator MeetingDuring the May MHCP Creator Meeting, we reviewed a wide range of platform strengths and areas that still need improvement, everything from mobile development limitations to issues with the editor, clothing system, and IWP features. To move this feedback forward in a focused and actionable way, we’re asking creators to help identify the most important features. We've compiled all the items into a single list, and now we’re asking the community to vote on your top 5 priorities.📝 Survey Link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf8o1cTRIWP_CYcPrJokGQrJ1TTmubAxKg64gFegvN1OVUcZQ/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=117915244616558080060This will help us understand where the greatest consensus is among creators so we can include that in our formal summary to Meta. The more creators who participate, the clearer the picture will be.Thanks for taking a minute to weigh in.
Anyone able to go over what was discussed in the Town Hall meeting? I wasn’t able to attend.
Is it possible to force the user to run continuously and block their controls so they can’t control locomotion and turning around on mobile?I'm trying to figure out how to create an infinite runner in Horizon Worlds, but from what I can see, the biggest challenge is managing player controls.Has anyone figured this out? I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas.
I am seeing my custom NPC spawning in at zero degrees rotation, even if set to any non-zero value. This was not previously the case, up until this or last week. Anyone else notice this? workarounds?
How can our team improve the reach of the game we have created in Horizon Worlds?
Hello all. I hope I am not breaking any rules by posting this. I am new to the partner program and also the forum.I have seen many people talk about and mention the discord. I understand Meta is pushing the community towards this forum, but I feel left out by not even being able to join the discord. Even if the point is to leave the discord, it still feels like a social wall between the newer partners/creators and the old ones, which is not considered welcoming (at least here in Sweden!).If anyone wants to show me around, or at least add me somewhere where I can find fun creators to work with, please connect with me. I would appreciate that alot. All the best.
I have a memoriam world for celebrities that have passed away this year for people to gather and remember them. It's called Deaths in 2025 and I'm not able to publish it anymore. Is it possible that I have inadvertently violated community guidelines? Should I rename it and/or put an age restriction on it? THX

The die I have in my world is grabbable but the only way a player can roll is to "drop" it with the automatically assigned icon (it's in the lower left). I don't believe I am assigning throw correctly as a primary icon since nothing happens when I test it. Is there another step to this?
Hello everyone..Wanted to know if anyone knows the reason for entering worlds with headsetsand seeing triangles with exclamation marks as well as falling through worlds? @members
Hi Creators,I've been custom UI tutorials by "Mobile Worlds Crash Course with Laex05" and it's been awesome!! I can display custom uis. However, I want to see if the custom UIs will display differently for each player. How do I test multiplayer either in Desktop, headset and mobile by myself? Is it possible? Or is the only to test multiplayer is to actually get someone else to test with me?Thanks!

I am learning the desktop editor.I am trying to make some more intuitive driving/flying controls then is currently being shown in "Driving Simulator", and trying to see if there is better support with the Desktop Editor. I have added a Seat AvatarPose to get the character to sit, however any inputs from the left axis control moves the player out of that pose. Is it possible to disable or better yet reassign the controls to move the asset while the character is sitting?Without having to grab an item or override?I am using a trigger gizmo at the moment on the AvatarPose. The only hints online show that I have to grab an item to override buttons, but that doesnt override the Left Axis and also grabbing something to control it is very unintuitive for the user as evidenced by interacting with a number of Worlds.
Hey everyone,My team and I worked on Crafter vs Dodgers and submitted it last week to the Meta Horizon Creator Competition. You can find our game here: https://horizon.meta.com/world/1176811227228729Our competition entry here: https://devpost.com/software/gravity-craftThis was our first time using and developing for Meta Horizon so I've got a few feedback to share in case that's useful.PROSNetworking was a cinch to use. Networking isn't our strong suit but everything worked out of the box as expected so I was surprised by that. It allowed us to create a social party game rather quickly. This is by far the strongest value IMO that Meta Horizon editor brings, which is great considering how important social is to Meta. Good work here.Gen AI was introduced to us midway through our development. We had purchased our assets before this and it was a big task to switch everything over, but we did it because Gen AI looked simply better. It was excellent at prototyping things and ge
I'd like to promote my worlds to some shy people with no VR experience or headsets.Ideally, I'd like to send them a link to a closed session for web or mobile that only has me or other people they know.I know how to open a closed session, but how do I send invites?
Took a while to find that this can be fixed from changing Motion to Animated from None(LLMs cannot figure that one outCan that be done in ts or is it DE only?
I'm trying to resize the HUD texture but it seems that it only wants to stay to the very top long rectangular strip (5:1)?Is it possible to resize to display a 1:1 map?
I know that Meta has shown off some MR demos in Horizon Worlds. Is there a plan to open this up and provide tools to developers to create such experiences?
[Direct Link] This week in v214 we are introducing the World capacity guidelines dialog, giving creators more insight into their world capacity information. Additionally, we opened up the avatar pose gizmo API to all creators, which includes two new events: OnPlayerEnterAvatarPoseGizmo and OnPlayerExitAvatarPoseGizmo, which will trigger when a player enters or exits a seat. We also have quality of life fixes including increasing entity limits under a single parent object, giving creators significantly greater flexibility to create complex hierarchies. Finally, we have a large volume of community requested bug fixes including Mesh GenAI softlocks. Please note that from v215 onwards, we are changing the scripting directory structure to not include the World name in the folder name. This is done to prevent malicious attacks via bad actors. In case you are using a source-control system for managing scripts, you will need to reconfigure the setup after the update. Read on for
- `Player.sprintMultiplier` property allows controlling how much faster sprinting is than walking - default is 1.4 - range is 1 - 10 - value of 1 disables sprinting - `CodeBlockEvents` collection of events has comments describing which are broadcast, and whether from the server or the client. - some of this info seems incorrect? - says you "can't" send built in events, but pretty sure you can, if you want to - says that OnPlayerEnter/ExitInteractionMode is broadcast on the client, but pretty sure it is broadcast on the server, too. - `Player.disableSystemControls()` now takes an optional boolean `tapAnywhereDisabled` - defaults to `false` for legacy behavior - not _exactly_ clear what it's for. I have noticed that `disableSystemControls()` previously did not disable _all_ system controls. - new `AvatarPoseGizmo` - `player` property support putting a player in a pose gizmo (e.g. seat) and booting them out
