Have the criteria for adding posts changed?Created a topic with a question and a photo in troubleshooting and  the robot immediately rejected it and called it spam😄Maybe because I created it without respect and emojis 😅How it can be moderated or what words are forbidden for topics now🤔

My Feeling is: That Since We are about to loose Meta Horizon Worlds for the Headset, that does Not get rid of the BIGSCREEN App. So if we all gravitate to that App, as we did in the days when it was great. It's still nice to be able to Watch Movies with your friends online. and therefore you can doodle in the Room or the Lobby! Don't forget there are lots and lots of Environments to choose from. I like the Main Living Room for my home turf. But everyone has their Favorite Environments for their Home Turf. Let's all not forget that we can Still Use our Meta Quest Remote Desktop to bring in our Computer to Navigate to More work. And do things in the BIGSCREEN area. Also, lets not forget too, that there is also the Virtual Desktop App that does the same thing. My only gripe Honestly is that the Avatars in BIGSCREEN is not as full body as they are in Meta Horizons. But, It's Better than Nothing if you want to share with a buddy from way across the world. For gods sake, allow me to close this stupid application without having to manually disable the services in the windows config. Do you not want less technically skilled people to even be able to use the application or what? I can figure it out and have had to write a powershell script that sets the services each time i want to use meta horizon link. Why do you even make it non functional? Is this so you can gather as much data as possible? its 100% purposeful. Sketchy as **bleep** and you shouldn't get away with it over and over. Worked on software my whole live and I've never seen an application that's so inaccessible or forces services to reset to automatically start, overwriting windows configuration when you boot. Here's a hot tip for the dev team, if the user right clicks/exits the app from the windows icon view, close the service and app like... you know.. every other program in existence. 

Hello everyone, I am writing here out of desperation. Recently I bought a Metaquest 3S and wanted to create an account there through their app (Meta Horizon) to log in on the device as the Quick Start advised and also continue adding a Metaquest account to my already existing Meta portfolio of Facebook and Instagram.While the app showed as if it was doing just that, after several minutes of "Creating the account" it suddenly got blocked and I had to restart the app. While trying again to do the same thing randomly I received an email and also I think of the screen a message saying "Action needed on your Meta account" with "Your Meta account has been suspended. We did this because your account, or activity on it, doesn't follow our Terms of Service.". I tried going to their auth.meta.com link and they started requesting me a selfie. For the past 10 days I kept trying to upload a selfie with my face (good lighting, bad lighting, with/without glasses) and always I get an error w

Hello, I speak French and it's an automatic translator that you are reading, I'm sorryI updated my quest 2 and the low battery alert is only possible when waking from sleep. The 2 settings of this alert although very useful have been modified since the update and I no longer have the alerts in operation of the headset. I understand that this alert bothered pure gamers but it would have been appropriate to always be able to choose a setting during the operation of the headset. I'm not satisfied because the headset stops all of a sudden by displaying too late that the battery needs to be recharged. I wish that the great META would make a correction. I recently purchased a used Quest 2, but so far, I have not been able to get it working as I keep getting an error saying my broadband is slow, which is strange as I am on the Sky Full Fibre 500 service. I have raised a support ticket but not heard yet. I have been looking at various YouTube videos on the Oculus Rift S which although an old system still seems to be getting good reports. My main reason for  VR is to use it with MSFS 2024 and X-Plane 12. I believe that the Rift S is not wireless and is connected via the HDMI input on the PC. If this is the case is it more or less plug & play installation?? Any advice welcome please??

Here is what happened:The headset originally got stuck during an update and became unusable.I entered recovery mode and manually sideloaded an official OTA update using ADB.The update installed successfully and now the headset boots normally again.I can reach the initial setup screen (language, Wi-Fi, pairing code, etc.).However, I cannot complete the pairing process in the Meta Horizon app.Current symptoms:The Meta Horizon app always fails to pair with the headset.Bluetooth permissions and nearby device permissions are enabled.I already tried factory reset multiple times.I also tried reinstalling the Meta Horizon app.The headset connects to Wi-Fi correctly.ADB recovery/sideload works normally.When I check the serial number on Meta support pages, it says the device has “no support available”.The serial number is detected correctly in recovery/ADB.Recovery device info:Secure Boot: yesLock state: lockedBuild variant: userModel revision: eurekaThx! :)

Hello everyone. Is there any way to bind a button on oculus touch to re-center my position in steam vr? I got my own VR club with bunch of headsets and everytime people start to play i have to recenter there position before they start to play. Its annoying because all the time i need to launch oculus mirror app or scrcpy to actually see on tv what they’re seeing in the headset and then press oculus button and then re-center position. I wish i able to just click button on controller or even keyboard

I hate to make a new discussion over this topic but at this point meta should be thinking about a port of this in some way. I know developers can send the data over but actually using it for any gameplay outside of a unity development environment is impossible. I've heard rumors of 3rd party apps that can do something similar to meta link via the cable and such but that doesn't sound safe.I enjoy my PCVR experience and all, but losing a large functionality of the headset all because I want to use my link cable so my graphics don't look terrible. (my headset isn't close to the router, so it doesn't have a good connection, and using my computer as a hotspot doesn't boost the quality of the picture. Something like Steam Link or Virtual Desktop[why is this expensive?] is out of the question.)I understand that meta may not think of their headset as being used as a pc extension but so many people do it already, why not add a bit of functionality to the app you seem to neglect? Meta brokemy Oculus Quest 3 over 15 months ago with an update and I still have yet to receive a replacement (RMA) or refund. All I've done is give me the same runaround with their support team. They don't care to take responsibility for their mistakes.

Hi everyone! I am a 3 year old quest user, and have finally gotten the money to upgrade from my old quest 2. Though, I am stuck. I don't know what headset to go to, the quest 3 or 3S. I saw a rumor that Quest 4 will have a 2.5k resolution panels.There are several issues with this:1. By this moment there weren't any 2.5k good microOLED VR panels. The only one currently on the market is really old SeeYA. They have some innate issues with biggest being 90Hz being hardware upscaling only.2. VR is not in the trend right now. Chance of having new 2.5k panels by 2027 is pretty slim. SeeYA allegedly works  on new generation of 2.5k or 3k panels but they are nowhere to be seen and they might be unreasonably priced in comparison to old panels. BSB still uses old panels, Dream Air SE will use the same old panels, upcoming wired PfD also.3. High end right now is 4k panels and there are some pretty good options: AVP, Galaxy XR, Play for Dream, Dream Air, MeganeX. They are all available and good headsets. So, i have an Oculus Rift S. I clicked on one of the three tutorials in the menu, and the app went black and i could only minimize or close it. Restartion or restoring the app didn't help. Please help me.

I have an identical pair of IP webcams (Reolink CX810) they are 8MP resolution. If I arrange them to be aligned, but a couple of inches apart, is there any way of viewing them in 3D on my Quest 3?
