I just got a new headset (meta quest 3) and it connects to the WiFi but when it reaches the update then it just restarts the headset. I’ve used multiple different networks, I’ve factory reset my headset, hard reset it and I tried to use the update tool but it doesn’t register the device. What do I do?

So the right controller of my quest 3s isn't tracking anymore. I got the headset recently, and already having problems with it. So, the controller is registered in the headset shows me its battery life and everything, you can even press buttons and it registered in the headset but it won't track it. I've never hit it on anything or nothing. So im confused why it wold stop working if I was literally just using it last night and it worked fine before I got off the headset. And its confusing because my left controller is tracking fine. but why not my right one?

My quest 2's controller's battery corroded and rusted the terminals, is there a way to repair, replace or fix these? thank you.

I have inadvertanly switched something on that reads alloud everything i point my curser at. Annoying does not begin to describe it.HOW DO I TURN IT OFF 🥵

I'm really upset with the performance of Quest software nowadays. I was playing Alyx, Metro and Beat Saber a while ago with zero issues (recommended settings and 600mb bitrate on debug). For some reason, after some updates, I'm getting unplayable stutters even on the Link menu while using the headset. Nothing changed on my hardware. I'm still playing all my flat games on 2k with high fps, so why they reduced my recommended settings and I'm getting really bad fps even on 0.7x?RTX 3080, RYZEN 9 6900HX, 32GB RAM, WIRED LINK 3.2 GBPS My configs 2 months agoMy configs now 

I came across some problems with my device. I tried calling my friend on the Oculus Quest 2 and it instantly kicked me out of the call, he tried aswell and it did the same. We had then unfollowed eachother but weren't able to follow eachother back. When i would click on his profile to follow him there was no option to follow or message only to report or block. We then factory reset our devices but still nothing changed. I even tried searching up his account but it didn't pop up and he did the same but neither for him mine didn't pop up. I'm able to call all of my other friends except him. On the other hand for him he's unable to call anyone. What can he do?

Ok so its like that. I lost my phone a while ago and my quest 2 is still connected with that phone in the meta horizon app. Now i have a new phone and i tried to connect my quest 2 and it didnt work. Why? Its because my quest 2 is still connected with my old phone on the old app. So my question is.. how the flip do i fix that? I mean i want to start recording **bleep** again or twxt my friends lver the phone but my headset just wont connect to my new phone since its connected with the old one. Pls i need help.

sines meta refuse to let my buy a game bc they think you can go get a gift  card and prove owner ship knowing dam well no one can do that after 5 months of it being old can i still be gifted games if i cant buy any yes or no 

Con la última actualización la pantalla enciende y queda como en gris hice todo lo que me indico meta en sus correos de restablecer todos los parámetros hasta de febrica y al reiniciare sale una especie de chip con una flecha hacia abajo y una barra que se llena de color verde al cargarse después se vuelve a reiniciar y aparece el logro de meta después de que carga vuelve a quedar la pantalla encendida en gris. En ningún momento emite sonido alguno y tampoco muestra imagen de ningún tipo solo el menú de usb donde puedes colocarlo de fabrica y demás... También lo conecte al pc y por cable después de ponerlo de fabrica descargue por la página de meta la última actualización y hace todo su descarga y actualización desde el pc sin problemas en la gafa sale como se carga la actualización y cuando todo termina la pantalla queda encendida y se queda en gris sin mostrar imágenes o interacción alguna con el volumen, ni con los controles, ni con el seguimiento de manos. He solicitado asistencia

Wanted to see if anybody else was having problems with the updates I'm stuck on version 78.1027 trying to update to 78.1028 can't get it update just applies it restarts but the other thing I noticed is now my headset is not recognized by my Link cable tried with two other link cables as well or over air link and my phone doesn't even recognize my headset and I can't adjust my settings from my phone anybody know what's going on

Hi, my Rift CV1 has stopped working for no discernable reason. For the life of me I cannot use the support route. It asks for a serial number, which I enter exactly as it appears in the "Devices" section of Meta Quest Link but the support website still claims my account is not associated with the device... this is extremely frustrating.How can I contact Meta? Why is it made so difficult?To sum up my woes: not knowing where the problem came from, I've even bought 2 cables and a second-hand headset and cannot make either of them work, with any cable combination. This is on the exact same rig it used to run perfectly on. Headset never turns on (proximity sensor lights up though). Both sensors fail, disappear from Devices and refuse to reconnect unless the PC is rebooted. Complete reinstall didn't help. It must be some software glitch.

Hello! I have discovered a problem with my Quest 2 where not only is the device taking a longer amount of time to load up to the menu, but I simply cannot play anything because everything in the Quest 2 home disappears after a few minutes and nothing seems to be interactable within that time where the menu appears. I have no choice but to cut off the device. I've attempted to mess around in the Quest home but nothing is reappearing and I've to restart and even boot the device multiple times, but nothing changes and I've ran out of options on how to attempt to fix it. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if this is a charging speed issue or if battery consumption has increased, but there is a problem.After the v78 update, the battery level of my Quest Pro decreases even when I play with a power bank connected.Before the update, connecting a power bank and playing actually increased the battery level of the Quest Pro.I used the same power bank as before, and the same problem occurred with all three of my power banks. Therefore, this is not a malfunction of the power bank.Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? If you know of a solution, please let me know. Thank you.

Hi, I just bought the meta quest 3 but during the setup, i cant get past the software update. its been updating for hours and i allready tried the factory reset and all other things but nothing works. is this normal or ? I already tried to do a side load update but on the meta site it says that my device isnt supported so i dont know what to do now. greetings

Recently when I've been trying to use Oculus in Unity, I get this error: <RI.Hid> Device is not supported: Tracker DK (0003, 0x0005).From then on, Head Tracking works only sporadically. Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it?

So I've been having this problem where my headset dies and it flashes white on the side led and the inside is the dark grey you see when you don't have the headset on. And I have to hold down the power button for about 10-20 secs so it can fully power off. It's been occurring for 2-3 weeks and I want to avoid a factory reset as I have important data in the headset. Please help!!

I’m honestly getting really frustrated with this. I have a Meta Quest 3 and I’ve noticed that the controller batteries keep draining even when the headset is completely turned off. I’m not talking about standby or sleep mode — I mean fully powered down. I put in brand new batteries, left the headset untouched for about two weeks, and when I came back, both controllers were totally dead. This keeps happening and it's unacceptable. Why are the controllers draining power when nothing is in use? This should not be happening, and I’m hoping for an explanation and a real solution — because constantly swapping out dead batteries when the device isn’t even being used makes zero sense. Thanks.

So as the title states, Oculus drivers are breaking display cloning windows 10 for me and several other users on reddit I found with the same issue. See here The only solution to be able to duplicate displays again currently is to uninstall the pc app and not use VR at all. This is a unacceptable solution for me though as the pc is a vr pc for streaming. Without VR it has no purpose, but without display cloning I cant use my capture card to grab the content. So either way the pc once again has no purpose and I cant do what I do or play vr on stream. Is there anything can we do to fix this on the user end? Or is this a issue with a update and you all need to fix it on the support side? If so when can I expect a patch if there is a ETA on the bug?Thank you for reading.

I’m currently experiencing new issue: the battery is not charging beyond 30–35% for some reason.It hasn’t been long since I received a replacement Quest 3 due to a previous software issue, and now this is happening again. I’ve already tried a hard reset, but it didn’t help. I’m also using the standard charging equipment that came with the device – nothing unusual.In addition, I’ve found several posts online describing the exact same problem, so it seems I’m not the only one affected.I’m honestly wondering why I keep encountering problems like this with a product of this quality.What happens if I experience another issue after the warranty period has expired? Since this is already a replacement device and the issues appear to be related to either hardware or software – and the device isn’t even two years old – will I still receive support beyond the standard warranty in such cases?Kind regards

Hi everyone,My Quest updated recently to v78, and Stage Tracking has been broken.I use Virtual Desktop with the Stage Tracking option enabled, and then Space Calibrator so that I can use full body tracking with the vive 3.0 sensors.This worked perfectly until now, as Stage Tracking was making sure the alignement between the quest and pc play spaces were maintained.However, with the recent version of firmware v78, every time I lift the Quest 3 away from my face and back, it re centers its play space and Stage Tracking did not work, and I have to recalibrate the whole thing multiple times. When is Stage Tracking going to be fixed again in your firmware Meta? I understand functions might be broken, but a prompt fix would be appreciated once the bug has been reported. Thanks

I havent used my quest 3 for a long time now, it stopped charging the orange light doesnt even come on. I tried all the suggestions and when they didnt work I factory reset it, Still wont charge ( in a wall), its not the port because when I plug in the little back cord attached to the quest and use my portable powerbank, that works. But plugging into an outlet it will not. Ive tried other chargers and switch to multiple wall outlets. Help, its not that old obviuosly and stopped charging about 9 months ago

I did all the suggestions my online friends gave and by watching youtube videos and lastly I did try to get into boot menu by holding down power and volume down button at the same time but, the boot menu did not show up on the VR headset - After doing that, my VR headset will not turn on and no LED light on when plugged into charger and not charging. Please help! I got this quest 2 last year 2023 Christmas gift but been used.
