the left-side hinge on my Quest 3 seems to have somehow detached from the main headset. I have no idea how or why. I've taken really good care of my Q3 for the last 10 months, but now I guess I've had my very first issue. From the research I've done, it seems to be a very common problem with the quest 3 design: The plastic O-ring inside the hinge break apart, so it needs to be cleared and put back together somehow? The headset still functions, but now I'm afraid to wear it because I don't want to accidently break the charger, or rip the really tiny speaker wire in the left ear... Miraculously, it'll still charge, but it won't charge with the loose hinge because the charging port is strategically located RIGHT on the hinge! xD I'll attach a photo for clarity.   Any tips on how I can fix this would be appreciated, even it it's temporary, I need to use it for work. Hi guys,I have noticed that the right thumbstick is not used properly by some games.It works like an arrow key on the keyboard, meaning it's either at 0% or 100% input, nothing in between, making precise turning awkward.I play while seated most of the time, so I use it a lot and it feels terrible.I have tried all the options, but "smooth turning" and "turning speed" is basically what most games offer. No setting fixed my problem.Some regular games have this problem ("After the Fall") and also PC "ports" that run on the Quest like Doom3Quest or RTCW.Most other games work just fine though, so is it an oversight by the devs or a software problem?Is there a way to make the thumbstick being recognized correctly?This would improve my Quest expericence by a lot.CheersTiger

When ever I go in to change the accounts to my new phone number it keeps sending link to old number. It is saying the old number is a WhatsApp number. If anyone has a work around it would be great. Don’t want to lose the accounts or whoever has the old number take the account.

hed my headset for quest 2 placed on a charger, walked away while it was charging in my kitchen, came back to find it was on FIRE in the socket of the headset and melted the headset, almost causing my home to catch on fire. while burning up cable toi have pictures of the after scene but dont know how to publish with this post

So. Beware of the latest software update. META has removed all of the great home environments and put in 5 of the most cheesy environments. Also, when in horizon you could switch the operation of the controllers and swap left and right. META must think that everyone is either right handed or left handed. The new update takes that function away. So at this point I cannot go into Horizon because I cannot really work the controllers well. META - Isn't it time you stopped taking functionality away and actually IMPROVED the performance, or just fix these things then leav it alone.

Hello everyone,I’m having an issue with my Meta Quest 2: when I turn them on, the Meta logo appears normally, then the tutorial starts, but after a few seconds the screen goes completely black. This happens both in the headset and when casting to my phone.Interestingly, I can see the volume icon when I press the volume up or down buttons, and the recovery/boot menu works and is visible correctly. Audio also responds to the buttons. This indicates that the operating system is active, but the main graphical interface fails to load.Steps I’ve already tried to fix it:Factory Reset multiple times → did not solve the issue.Firmware reinstallation via Meta → also did not work.Full 10-hour charge with the original charger → no effect.Covering the proximity sensor to rule out the headset thinking it’s not on my head → no change.Casting to phone → the screen is also black.Verified that the volume and sound overlay works correctly → system responds, only the main interface is not displayed.Other

Received an invitation to the portal http://www.meta.com/creators/affiliates/So I've been using it for several months,but I can't find a connection with financial support,  I tried to contact with https://www.meta.com/help/support/But support told that they do not have access to this program,also in the help section of Facebook - as well as information strictly on business profilesand there is no cases about this program,maybe someone knows the email address of support or a direct link to the form to contact this particular departmentThank you in advance

I updated system to the latest update, cleared browser cache and restarted Meta Quest 3, but still it is not working. I tried it even with Virtual Desktop software but it result in same glitched out image view. This problem was here around 2 years not and its still not fixed, i feel bad that i paid this much for device that has very often problems.

Downloaded a fitness game last night and had a good workout. Turn the system off and charged it. Not it won't come back on. Tried rebooting it and factory resetting it. Still nothing. Any ideas? It's not even 6 months old. 

Hi everyone, I was using my Quest 3S normally last night and turned it off. Today when I tried to use it again, it started blinking a red light while connected to the charger. I unplugged it from the power outlet and plugged it back in, and after that the headset never turned on again. Now there is no light at all. It does not charge and does not turn on. The device is less than 1 month old and was bought brand new from Amazon. Has anyone experienced this issue?I FROM BRAZIL

Bought a new Meta Quest 3S. All of a sudden it won't charge. I am trying to connect to support however I keep on getting a message that there is no support available for this product. 

When I try to get the code to connect to my phone so I can set it up it tells me the email is bad but it's not 

Does anybody know how to get the screw back in from the battery strap? Tried everything but can’t seem to get it in without break the oculus. 

My left controller wouldn’t work it was flashing & flashing. My right one was connected & working. So my son was looking stuff up came across factory reset, he did that now the headset is like new but both controllers won’t pair, unfortunately when he did that it disappeared from my app so I’m now not able to set it up on my phone, both controllers have new batteries but won’t pair to the headset that was factory reset. Please help.! I’ve tried almost every thing that has popped up on here to try and repair nothing works. 

My quest 2 menu will not open. Every time I load in, I am in my virtual home, or in my passthrough. Every-time I load it up, it shows me how to use passthrough, even though Ive been using it for years. I have had my oculus for 2 years now, and I am not sure what to do. It tells me to open my menu on my left controller, but that does nothing, every time I close the tutorial screen, it opens it up again. This screen blocks me from using my menu. I have tried literally everything. Ive hard rebooted it countless times, restarted it, and powered it off. Ive turned off my wifi, and even went in a car to a different location to try it. Nothing seems to work. I have not factory reseted it yet, and I would not like to go to that point until I’ve tried everything. However, there is not much more I can do. This is only on my primary account though, Ive turned off the WiFi, and even made an alternative account just to try to fix it, but it lets me open the menu on the 2nd account. Ive also let it

Hi, I have been using a Rift S for some years now and I also suffered from the bug, where I got no display, only a black screen. The latest update from Meta Horizon Link did solve that.So now when I am playing it suddenly looses sound and then the image freezes. On some occasions I heard a static tone first, then disconnect.If I check the Rift connections it says all green and connected and I can just restart my games, only to face the same fate. I have updated my Nvidia drivers already. Any options I can try, besides waiting until Meta has found there is a problem still? Cheers

Right controller trigger button not working, have tried restarting device, factory reset and unpair and pair with headset again, nothing has worked anyone have anymore advice?only purchased in Dec 2025, thanks

Hi,I am trying to install the quest link on a new windows laptop, but it keeps getting stuck on the VR Downloads page after I log in to my account. There's no continue button or an option to select a location on this page. I reinstalled several times and changed the download location, but they didn't work.Has anyone experienced this before? 

yesterday i was playing beat saber on my quest 2 like i do every day but when i went to lay today i saw it was turned off completely (which i dont normally do) do i let it turn back on but it never did it just keeps turning on the meta logo spins once and then it reboots, but weirdly if i dont have my face on the headset it boots to a grey screen and then does the same but it only does that if my face isnt on the screen, if i try to reset using the onscreen recovery menu the reset screen shows for a second and then it starts doing the same thing as before. i have tried updating the software through metas website but im still having no luck :( any ideas because i dont really want to buy a new headset.

I'm trying to send my quest 3 to get repaired but i am unable since the web in meta says i don't own a device, despite this the meta horizon app shows that my device is owned by my account, and in the web itself I can see the purchases i made these months, I am trying to get in contact with any telephone or mail that could be of use but as said, this is kind of a road block and i don't know why the web is confused.The device is unable to be paired in any way since is locked in a sort of safe mode so i cannot link it to anything.

Both of my controllers on my brand new quest 3s aren’t showing the white line to click on games and they won’t show up at all and when I go on games where I have to use the left joy stick to move I always move backwards or to the right but I don’t have stick drift because I just got the headset for Christmas.

I started the Meta Horizon+ free trial on 12/20/25, I then canceled the trial so I wouldn’t be charged in 12/24/25. I noticed I was charged by Meta for $7.99 on 1/20/26. However, when I look at my account there’s no history of being charged? I tried requesting a refund but the AI support really sucks :(

I bought my son a Meta Quest 3 a little over a year ago and there was a problem with the first so so we got a replacement. This one worked fine for a year then just stopped charging the battery one day. We've tried different cables and outlets, as well as letting it sit on the cable it came with for 24 hrs. When he turns it on, it shows a dead battery with a black screen behind it. Does this sound like a battery issue or headset issue?

After being a meta-quest 3 4K user for 8 months, they are currently denying me the ability to purchase anything due to security issues even though my payment methods did not change and even the money on my quest, cash is unable to be used. The security window says.: We noticed something unusual and, for your security, this request couldn’t be complete completed. Please try again later, or visit our help center. At this rate, I will never recommend Meta quest to anybody due to things like this
