 My Rift S started to disconnect ramdomly last week. Now it is having connection issues and the video isn't working, showing just 3 dots. I tried to contact suppot but my seial number is not being accepted! Please Help!

I'm slightly going insane. Switched to t-mobile and now I can't get 2 factor authentication texts. Manager at the store says they block facebook sms. So now I can't get back into my account anywhere. I've tried every work around on reddit and nothing has helped. Any ideas?

Hello, I need help. After the latest update to v81, when my immersive home switched to the new one, my CPU and GPU are under too much load without Link, about 30-50% CPU utilization in the VR home, and GPU about 60-80%. Because of this, just a minute after starting the headset, I can feel that it has become warm. Without the VR home mode, CPU utilization is about 20-30% and GPU is around 30-40%. It's a bit cooler but you can still feel it with your hand. What should I do? Is this normal? Is anyone else experiencing the same?(Also, on the day of the update, I downloaded a VPN APK from a website and thought it might be because of that, like a virus. I deleted it, but it didn't help. After that, I did a factory reset, which also didn't help. Even in the headset activation menu, it was noticeably warm, probably around 30-45 degrees.)

Hello everyone.   I received the Meta Quest 3 headset on October 12th. Launched, updated the software. And I started playing games while connected via Oculus Link to my laptop. On October 12, 13, everything was just great. Half Life Alyx has a fantastic level of graphics, a stable frame rate, there was not a single glitch. This morning I picked up the helmet again and noticed that the image quality had become terrible. Even in the lobby menu, it's terrible. There is no clarity of the image, the effect of a ladder and ripples is especially noticeable on the lines. I launched the same Half Life ALyx, and it was a terrible soap. Worse than in Quest 2. Also, while playing Blade and Sorcery, I noticed that the frame rate dropped. Although in the settings it is worth "raising the frame rate to 120 so that where possible".   Changing the settings of the frame rate, screen resolution in the Meta-application did not give results. Hi,I’m trying to regain access to my Meta account that was originally created as an Oculus account years ago as I’m considering upgrading from my original quest 1 to a quest 3. I believe the account was successfully migrated because I still receive Meta emails to the same address.When I try to log in at auth.meta.com, I get a “Validation error – code validation has failed” message before the SMS code is even sent. I can’t proceed past this step, so I can’t log in to reset my settings or disable two-factor authentication.Things I’ve already tried:Logging in from multiple devices and browsers (Safari, Chrome, PC, and mobile)Using both Wi-Fi and mobile dataAttempting password reset (I do receive Meta emails)Visiting the recovery and reset pages (auth.meta.com/recover, auth.meta.com/reset-password)Unfortunately, I can’t submit a normal support ticket because it either asks me to log in or enter a headset serial number, and my Quest 1 serial number isn’t recognised in the current form.I own

The floor level and room scanning used to work fine.  Not sure if the latest OS update v79 (system says it's the latest, and cannot update to 81) broke something.  I erased all history and tried to set floor level, which is too high even with the lowest setting using controller stick.  I also tried placing the controller on the floor and the "drawn" controller just appears above the floor disconnected from the physical controller lying on the floor.I don't know if this is related to trying to redraw room boundaries, as trying to redraw the boundaries is completely off now.  It used to work very well.  Is something broken with the software, or has my unit gone defective?

I'm having a problem that I don't know if it's a defect or normal, when I leave the oculus on standby for a long time, like from Monday to Friday, it drops from 100% to about 50% for exemple, but when I pick them up on Friday and put them on my face and look at the battery, I see the battery jumping from 50 to 43, then to 39, then 34, 27 and it keeps jumping until it stabilizes at a low number like 23, then it goes slowly, 22, 21, 20... etc, is this normal?

I've tried now for last week or so to verify my age. As meta keeps asking me too. And says it don't my account could be blocked and loose games I've bought. Every time click link in email just goes to white screen. How do I verify my age? And think it ridiculous you just can't ring someone for support!

encountered a problem where the bootloader on my Quest 3 became damaged and unusable. It's now completely unsigned and won't even allow the system to boot. I'm begging the Meta developers to create an executable module that, when connected via ADB, would allow for updating not only the system but also the bootloader itself. This will help many people experiencing gray screens and other issues. And they won't have to replace the devices that are experiencing the problem; instead, they'll be able to resolve it themselves, with the help of tech support!

I have a problem with some apps where I get a black corner whenever I try to take a picture or record a video from the gameplay. I've tried changing eyes for reference, different aspect ratios and settings combinations; I even factory reset the Headset several times and nothing happens. Does anybody knows how to fix this issue? It's driving me crazy... 

So i just bpught the meta quest 3s, well 2 of them and they both are supposed to come with batman but neither of them have a code inside the box or on the reciept. Can someone walk me through how to do this please?

I have the post powerful laptop Dell has to offer. Dell Precision 7780 WorkstationProcessor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13950HX (2.20 GHz; 5.5Ghz Turbo) Installed RAM 128 GB (128 GB usable)System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorGraphics: NVIDIA RTX 5000 ADA Generation Laptop GPU 16GB RAMI researched extensively to find the best headsets for use while traveling, as I cannot bring my monitors with me.  Used ChatGPT Pro5 with my specs and it suggested Quest 3.After troubleshooting with the technical department, they said it is not compatible as Meta does not recognize my GPU, even though it is exceedingly capable. A simple update could fix the issue, so here I am posting as I prepare my return and researching other competitors that don't have this issue.Please let me know if META is able to update its software to recognize a far more capable GPU in your software code, so I can utilize the device and keep it.

I moved countries from the United Kingdom to Ireland. I then got a euros gift card however I can no longer use the euros on the gift card because my balance is in GBP. 

I requested a return on a broken device still in warranty over 2 weeks ago and it has been over a week since Meta signed for delivery of the return, but it is still “awaiting delivery”. I’ve reached out to several people and they have all but acknowledged that it is lost, but they will not process the RMA, saying that I should wait and trust them while they will not provide a timetable for resolution.I see others have had this same problem. At what point do I put my foot down and explore legal options if they refuse to process the RMA?

When I upgraded to v81 it asked to secure my profile with a pattern. The pattern screen was 3 rows with 3 dots on each row. I created a pattern and had to repeat it and it was approved. Now when I try to sign in the pattern is top row has 3 dots, middle row only has 2 dots spaced farther apart than the top outside dots and the third row has 3 dots spaced like the top. So I can’t draw the pattern that I created in the beginning. I can’t get in now!

Hi,I'm trying to be visible online to my friends but seems that my account results always offline I have tryed to change every social option inside the quest3 but nothing change.Also I have tryied to request support from the support portal but when I try to identify the device the serial that I see printed on it is not accepted as valid and I can't proceed with the direct contact request

I will tell the story I got on one day, and my headset crashed, so I powered it off It went through the update with the white meta logo with the progress bar THEN it went to a gray screen, then it bootlooped and reinstalled the update, then went to a gray screen and repeat's this. and yes I have factory resetted, and tried to update the software on a computer, and nothing works.

Hello my name is Darren,            I used to do troubling shooting of hardware equipment for a Point of Sale Company for over 22 years for a living, have an A+ certification many years ago.   Product = Quest2 128GB bought in 7/29/2022,  Issue = memory error - "Not enough memory to run xxx" , Occurrence Random = About 10-55min. Versionv81.xx  For about 2 weeks I also have the issue of "Not enough memory to run xxx", for instance running "Dungeons of Eternity". it happens about 10min-55min. in the game but most all the time when everyone is linked to go back to the starting area in the "D. O. E. " game,  after the fight,  where everyone makes it back, except me, sometimes, more often while someone is talking the APP crashes and I recover back to the Meta Home screen.  I've did some research on this using Gemini, it said that the heatsink fan may not be working so bought tools to take it apart checking to see if the fan was
