So this started happening a couple weeks ago where my mic is not broken or anything but when I first join a party I can hear people for a couple seconds then it goes quiet and they cant hear me and I can’t hear them. The my audio still doesn’t work when I’m in game and even when I leave the party people still can’t hear me. But it did randomly started working normally for a couple days but after that never again. I have updated to the latest software, I’ve rebooted the headset multiple times from the boot menu, I’ve tried external mics but nothing works. The only thing I haven’t done is factory reset my headset because I don’t want to lose all my data and progress in my games and friends list.

Hi allSorry if this is solved elsewhere (new to the forum) but my brain is fried trying to set up meta quest link. I have a quest 3, a quest link cable (actual quest cable) connected to PC via usbc 3.2. yet the link app says my PC does not meet the updated specs. My kit is listed below. Any pointers on what's wrong would be very helpful. I cannot get to the speed test section to test the cable but the app did at least recognise the cable. I may be going about this all wrong but my goal is to pass the video grunt work to the graphics card and hopefully improve the graphics quality in the headset. I have a Meta Quest 1. I recently got some new headphones and wanted to use them with my headset. Previously I had been using wireless ones, but these new ones I wanted to use wired for sound quality. Unfortunately, I found that the headphone jacks in my headset didn't work. I looked up the issue and saw that people had experienced the same thing and suggested a factory reset would fix it. While it seemed absurd to me that a factory reset would be necessary to restore functionality as basic as a working headphone jack, I nonetheless performed the factory reset and started setting up the headset in the Meta Horizons app once again. Everything went fine until I hit the Safety screen. The video plays (and loops), but I have no option to continue past the screen no matter how long I wait. I tried reinstalling the app and factory resetting the headset again, but the same thing happens. I am at the end of my rope, I don't know what else to try, I just want to play Beat Saber. My head set won’t charge or turn on I really need help I have a quest 2 and I can’t even factory reset it and I need help with it

They wanted to know if the casting feature of the headset requires that the headset and the screen being casted to communicate on a peer-to-peer basis, or do they both go through the cloud? I would assume it is through the cloud since the user is required to go to horizon.meta.com/casting, but I wanted to doublecheck. Thank you, and please let me know if I should ask the client for any clarification on their question.

When trying to verify a developer account on developers.facebook.com, the SMS verification code does not arrive after entering the phone number.Multiple phone numbers and devices have been tested, but the code is never received. After several attempts, the system blocks further requests for a new code—likely due to spam protection.Typically, the system says the code has been sent, but no SMS is delivered. After repeated tries, it’s no longer possible to request another code.As a result, it’s impossible to verify the account, complete the registration, or manage the developer account. 

My friend is going through a rough time his oculus quest 2 headset is now starting to turn by itself when he plays and it’s getting to him he also said something about a identity management error so if anyone could help out please let me know it’s his only way of relaxing and getting away from reality thank you for understanding anyone please respond

I have no idea what happened, but my Quest Link setup has suddenly stopped working on my desktop PC, after years of working perfectly fine!Symptoms:* When I try to start link from the Quest 3 headset, the Quest Link loading screen just stays on forever. Quest PRO - after V.81, half of the face tracking stopped working (the left eyelid does not move).Verified - left eyelid does not move in the home world on Quest Pro itself.Verified - the left eyelid does not move precisely when tracking the face.Verified - the right eyelid moves and fully works in face tracking.Verified - the left eye moves with the right. Hi everyone,I’m having trouble accessing my Meta Quest account. I set it up about two years ago, and it’s not linked to Facebook or Instagram. The account shows as the admin account on my headset.The issue: whenever I try to log in on my phone or desktop, it asks for 2FA or recovery codes. I don’t remember setting this up and don’t have the codes anymore. I do still know the email and password, and the account is currently logged into my Quest headset.Has anyone dealt with this before? After downloading the latest V-79 version something I noticed that after turning on the headset and after the meta logo disappears the vision gets really glitchy, this did NOT happen before the update.

Hi smart people, first off thanks for taking the time to read and answer- Whenever i try to Live Stream VR Games, i got my rate set to 20k but connection drops to 5k anytime i open a vr game in the Oculus library- ANYTHING, pure single player games, just being in the start menu- pretty much Shuts down my stream, and the Vr headset connection, .Im connected per link cable to my pc, the Headset says its connected per cable, the PC says its connected per cable. It just seems that whenever i try to start a game my internet gets all used up and terrible for no reason.Im on a 3060ti and ryzen 7 5700x 3d 32 gb ram- recording is no issue whatsoever, and the obs log has no errors and nothing concerning bitrate or internet connection whatsoever. There is also no mentioning of encoding overload and lost frames is at 0.5%. I record vr gameplays all the time with no problems, and i stream recent title games all the time with great qualityI can use OBS to monitor the streams rate, and it drasti

I've been using my MQ3 from buying it Oktober last year with an elite strap with battery.Suddenly I've got charging connect and disconnect sounds while playing. Soon thereafter it didn't charge anymore. Tried the headset direct and that didn't work also. But after turning the connect 180 degrees it did. Tried it with the strap and that also helped. Problem is that the cable on the strap is too short to do this when wearing the headset. There's no visible dust or debris in the connector. Anyone else had this?

Is there any plan to support AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 & AMD Radeon 8060S in terms of Meta Quest Link? It looks like this APU offers great perormance and a lot of VRAM available. This could lead to be great candidate to run VR games with the great experience in PCVR ecosystem.

Another bit of Quest UI weirdness. I just discovered today that my daughter's parentally controlled (secondary) profile on my Quest 3 has a setting under "Camera" to "Automatically adjust microphone and game balance". If I toggle this setting to "off", it will show the separate microphone and app audio sliders. Sorry, no screenshot, I couldn't figure out how to send it from my child's account to my main profile, phone or PC.Strangely however, on my primary profile on the same headset, the toggle to "Automatically adjust microphone and game balance" is completely absent and I only have the separate microphone and app audio sliders (screenshot below). It seems really strange that two different profiles on the same headset don't have the same settings available. I'm on v79.1031 build 5115411.17040.520 (12 Sep 2025).Is this a bug, or by design?

My Quest 3 Meta won't turn on. I already performed a factory reset and tried loading an update from the support website. But when I try to start it, after the Meta logo, a square icon with a downward-pointing arrow and a green progress bar appears. When the progress bar is full, the Meta logo reappears motionlessly until it disappears, leaving the screens on but black. What can I try? 

Have had my Meta Quest 3S for less than a year. Trigger button on my left controller stopped working. Have tried replacing battery, unpairing/re-pairing, etc. Any advice?

Hello,Right joystick is glitching and drifting off into space. I have tried hard resets, calibration, replacing batteries, changing rooms nothing works.Help. 

with a wired connection I have a long loading time after which I can't enter steam VR, but if I reinstall the program, steam starts up along with the games, but the meta quest link program says that there is no sound on the headset

So I’m sat here sweating, wondering why on earth my Windows 11 gaming PC (core i7, 16 Gb, 3060) is acting as a heater, so I look at the monitoring software & my CPU is over 90 degrees C. Look at Task Manager & Meta Link - which I’m not using now & rarely if ever do even use - is sitting around 20 % CPU at CONSTANT use :-/Obviously, I therefore immediately uninstall that hot pile of sick digital garbage and hey presto, CPU drops down to 50 degrees C and even the GPU temp drops by over 5 degrees C, too.Meta - what the actual hell is it with your software? WHY is it using ANY of my CPU - let alone an actually very significant portion of it - when I’m not even using it?WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY CPU TIME?! You are wearing my hardware out. Your software is basically digital cancer at this point.

I’ve been using my Quest 3S for about half a year now, and as of a couple days ago the tracking completely stopped working. I found out through research that this was most likely due to sweat damage.I play VRChat and run a couple groups on there, where I get sweaty very quickly, so I assumed this was the case. I also live in a hot environment.I did a factory reset and tried everything else only to end up with a black backlit screen..Is it possible to get a replacement for sweat damage with the one year warranty? Or do I have to buy a brand new headset?Edit: i have emailed support and I got an AI generated message. I’ve also talked with them through Meta and they literally do nothing to help. Also likely AI.

Hi allI am short sighted and am struggling to read a lot of the text on the screen (all screens).  I have set the font size to largest in the accessibility options.  its almost big enough but not quite.  Copilot AI says there is a magnification function if i have the right firmware?  Magnification of 2x would be fine.  Question is, is this true?  my current accessibility settings screen does not mention it and software update says i am up to date...If AI is lying to me, what other options do I have?All help appreciated because I really enjoy looking at the pictures in VR but it would be great to be able to read the text too.Thanks,CzechTaff
