I had a search and couldn't find the answers to this, so hopefully someone here can help.I want to stream my quest 2 games onto my PC so when playing other people can watch what the user is seeing on my projector. I know the standard way is airlink, but unfortunately where I live the Wi-Fi is not great. So I want to know if it's possible with the cable. I know I can stream with the cable if I link to the Meta app on my PC, and that does work well. But the problem then is that I want to stream Quest 2 games that are installed on my headset, rather than games I have installed on my PC. So, can I stream Quest2 games downloaded from the quest store and installed on my headset to my PC, via cable? TIA!
My s3 headset has an error message and I can’t pair it to work?
Hello My Problem is. I can connect my MetaQuest3 via w-lan and it shows up in the quest link app as connected. I can use remote desktop via w lan and cable without any problems. But when I try to air link my Quest3 via cable or w-lan to my pc the App says that my headset cannot be found. I tried uninstalling all and also pur my quest3 back to factory reset but nothing solves the problem. What can I do?
I am really sorry if I have missed a previous post explaining what I am obviously missing but I think I have read a lot of articles now pretty much all suggesting the same things which I think I have done already.I bought the quest 3 a couple of months ago and had no issues with playing games both stand alone on the headset or via steam using SteamVR mainly as the airlink option seemed unnecessary. I have worked away from home quite a lot over the last month so not had the time to get back in to anything on VR but I have since tried and cannot connect anymore to SteamVR with the error codes 450 and 451 coming up ("host not responding" or "headset connect to host PC but not streaming video". I have ensure everything is updated and even uninstalled both the meta App and STeam VR plus restoring the headset to factory settings (including wiping all META and Occulus folders from C Drive).I have restarted the router but this is still on whatever settings I had previously when it worked
So with my quest 3s vr I have had it for about 2 years and my right controller is turning on but is not visible and i have tried everything taking out the batteries and factory resetting the headset etc I just need someone to tell me what the problem is or how to fix that problem because my left controller works perfectly fine.
I didn't use my headset for a while but left it on the charging dock. It looks like they auto -updated the system to the newest version .( Auto- update check and sleep mode update are checked . ) V71 seems to have completely broken my left controller. It won't pair again , and it's not tracking at all .Actually , the V71 controller update caused the issue . They were paired and connected when the system update was completed . But after the controller update, the left controller started not working , and the controller icon turned into a "not connected " icon when the update was finished .Strangely, It was showing "Left controller is connected" via bubble messages. To try to fix the issue, I tried to reboot my left controller , and it connected for 2 - 3 seconds, during which I saw the dot at menu that tracking was working for a very brief moment before the disconnected icon appeared on the UI panel again. I decided do clean process steps from online guides .1.
Desperately need help linking these two. We set up the Meta Horizon accounts for his meta quest first with me as the primary parent, and him as child, I've set up his privacy permissions, etc. THEN he couldn't access Gorilla Tag private room with a friend so we read bout K-ID, I've now set that account up using the same profile name for him but it is not connected so Meta Quest doesn't know he has permissions. He has NOT received an age verification request through the Meta Headset and NOWHERE in the family center do I see anyway to connect these two accounts/profiles. All of the instructions online say to go to supervision and privacy settings inthe family center but this does not solve my problem. Please Help - signed frustrated GenX parent so sick of all this tech.....

No other way to find out so.I factory reset my Meta Quest 2, and I ONLY HAVE ONE CONTROLLER I paired it and still stuck on the pairing screen. Is it impossible to setup your headset without both controllers?

Hi there , i´m trying to log-in on meta quest link and when i type my email and password(correctly), always show the "email or password incorrect" has changed my password two times, creating another account and even unistalling and installing the app and still not working - Please Help
Running into lots of problems. It started with no app being able to load. I kept getting the Wait or Close app pop and my left controller would connect no matter what I tried. So then I felt forced to do a factory reset. Now I can’t pair my device to the app. Says no device found (I’m on same WiFi networks). When I tried the support option and entered my serial number for my Quest 3S it said support is not supported for this device??
Ive had my quest 2 for about a month, had no problems and now its telling me im connected to the internet, but it cant provide internet. ive tried unplugging my router for a minute, as well as turning off the quest 2, with no luck. super frustrated please help.
Moderators stop marking this issue as solved, it has never been solved! I've been through a dozen posts all with the same problem of using a link cable and randomly getting the liquid or debris in charging port message at random. You have never addressed and solved this issue.I've done an hour of help with your tech support, cleaned it as advised, replace the Link cable with a new higher quality one, forced a side load operating system update, and I still have this problem which appears completely at random. It's not a loose port, nothing happens when I wiggle the connection, it just will randomly pop up in the middle of a game and ruin my game by disconnecting from the PC.The only solution they offered is to send mine in and for $240 they would send me a new one. I have no reason to believe a new one won't have this problem possibly as well considering how widespread this problem has been reported. So, again I ask, what is the solution?Unless I say this is solved, it is not
I just updated to the newest Meta Quest Link software. Now on online multiplayer games, specifically Onward (on Quest Link) and Forefront (on SteamVR) have an issue where the right eye display is completely thrown/scaled/sized/warped incorrectly, its actually pretty nauseating. Weirdly it didn't do this with Into the Radius (on Quest Link) or CONVRGENCE (on SteamVR). When I switched the OpenXR runtime to SteamVR instead of Quest Link, the issue stopped on Forefront. I tried disabling asynchronous spacewarp and sliced encoding and that didn't fix the problem. Onward still displays fine on stand-alone. I tried running the repair function on the Quest Link setup exe but that did not fix the issue. Additionally, I ran Forefront on my PSVR2 with the PC adapter and it displayed fine.Idk if it's important, but for reference, I have a Radeon GPU (RX 7800 XT), which to my knowledge sometimes struggles with VR related software support. Although, because the direct-to-DP PSVR2 worked fine, I don'
Hi All,Solved: Repair the installation of the Oculus PC app by running the installer again and selecting repair. Mine took two attempts, as the first repair crashed mid-repair.Problem: When using Air Link to play wireless PCVR, I have no sound though the headset speakers or through headphones that are plugged into the headset. I DO have sound under all other circumstances and conditions, including playing PCVR via steam link and virtual desktop, and the headset by itself. I am unable to locate any existing advice that goes beyond the following settings, which all appear to be in line with recommendations. I doubt it matters, but my hardware is as follow:Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045Meta Link App Version 62.0.0.235.346 (62.0.0.235.346)CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700xMemory: 16GB DDR4 Mobo: TUF Gaming x570-PLUSGPU: PNY GeForce RTX® 4080 16GB XLR8 Gaming Verto Epic-X What I've tried:reinstalling Oculus on
Quest 2 I've problems with pairing from PC to Meta Horizon Mobile app. I've tried all the online solutions of resetting and rebooting, deleting cache etc, but head set still stuck on use this code screen. Any further suggestions are really welcomeThanks
Hello everyone!I am trying to trigger eye tracking via Unity directly in the Unity Editor with Meta Quest Pro. When I build an apk, eye tracking works. But it doesn't work via Meta Quest Link. I have read repeatedly over the last few weeks that there have been problems with Quest Link. I wanted to ask if anyone has recently been able to implement a project in which eye tracking worked via Meta Quest Link and what tools were used.I have already read that ALVR via SteamVR is an option for transferring eye-tracking data, but I had problems with the packages. (My understanding is that you then need the SteamVR package and XR Interaction Toolkit instead of the Meta All-In-One SDK).As a side topic, another question would be whether it is currently normal for passthrough transmission on the Quest Pro to be very slow with the current Quest Link version, but to work normally with the Quest 3.My preference would actually be to do everything with the Meta Quest Link connection and the Meta Quest
i have a Q3 and a Dell Windows 11 PC. i've been plagued with the Link not connecting most of the time and finally getting it to link after many reboots of everything including my brain!!!!!the other day, Meta Support chat guy suggested that i download and run the MQL (Meta Quest Link) installer app and choose "Repair" on the 1st menu. i did so and IT WORKED!!!! ... until the next time i powered on my Q3 and went to Link. same prob. i tried the same fix and it worked again. the next time i tried it(yesterday) it did not work. indeed, the MQL software would not install saying it "cant find the Link server". i spent literally HOURS (more than 6) scouring the internet and AI and trying every fix i could find that sounded the least bit plausable. FINALLY last night i came up with a solution for the reason the app would not load...FIX *********** **************at some time during yesterday (or the night before) i turned my microsoft "One Driv
As the title states I cant download the app. After doing some research I found the existence of the Oculus log file and I get the following error:[Warning] [11/16/2025 4:31:12 PM] SSL certificate failed validation![Error] [11/16/2025 4:31:12 PM] Error fetching / parsing config.\nSystem.AggregateException: One or more errors occurred. ---> System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: An error occurred while sending the request. ---> System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel. ---> System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.Ive cleared my SSL cache in internet options and that didnt help. My time, date, and time zone are correct as well. Anyone have this issue and a solution for it? Its crazy to me that this has to be this complicated. Ive never once in my life been unable to download anything. Thanks for any help

Hi all,I’m kinda confused. I have a bunch of movies and music in my Mac library, and I just wanna play them on my Apple TV. Do I need to download some extra app or something?Any step-by-step advice would be amazing! Thanks in advance!
Having the issue of my L/H controller partially connecting where it will recognise the controller when I try pair it and will do a firmware update, say “SUCCESS” then tells me to press any button to wake it up. Try that and still nothing but the controller has the light flashing in this order: . . . . . . . . . So 3 fast 3 long 3 fast. I’ve tried new batteries, tried disconnecting and reconnecting, tried leaving the battery out of it for a few hours then trying to connect again. Checked for headset updates and any other app or controller updates but still nothing. Please help!Cheers
When I cast my Meta Quest 3 to my phone with screen ratio 21:9, I see pretty much nothing of what the person is looking at and I constantly tell them to look down. Then I noticed that even when I record the screen or when I take a screenshot, what I see doesn't align with what's recorded. In the video below I trace the edges of my field of view with my finger. As you can see, there is a large portion of the video that I don't see through my headset and a large portion that I see, but it's not being recorded. Combine that with cropping the video to fit a wide-screen phone and what the person looks at is often beneath what's visible.
