Hello everybody im looking for a help with my quest link issue. Me and my friend are having the same problem. When I connect the headset to USB 3.0, it only starts charging and Windows does nothing, but when I connect it to USB 2.0, Windows recognizes it and makes a connection sound. The problem is that I don't want my image to look like it's from Minecraft, but rather to be beautiful via USB 3.0 (by the way, I updated the chipset drivers and tried all the USB 3.0 ports on the computer). I don't know if it could be because I have Windows 10. If you want some detailed information just ask me. Thank you for every answer.
Since the update to firmware 79, I was no longer able to connect my Quest 3s to my Windows PC. I used the same cable and tried two different PCs with identical settings. Sideloading was not possible without Windows connection. Nothing worked. The solution turned out to be very simple:I bought a new cable for the PC connection (USB 3.2 Gen 1).When connecting the Quest to the PC, I used to always press the notification “Allow USB connection.” Now you must not do this anymore. Just plug in the cable, and the Quest connects immediately. If you want to use the USB drive function, you should tap the message in the notification manager on the Quest, and a USB drive connection will be established.Just to complete the picture: I installed the ADB drivers both from the Meta website and from the Oculus package. I tried normal installation as well as installation in safe mode. I ran scripts from other posts that kill and restart the ADB server, ran the applications in admin mode, and tested differen
I have tried everything ,except buying original cable from meta company, trying pcie USB card.why? Coz I was discouraged by the number of failed attempts and the lack of concrete solutions from metaquest support. On the forums, even these changes didn't always solve the problem; I usually read, "Use Wi-Fi. It's okay, but why do I see these ads like buy cable... isn't it just a scam? Why is this tolerated?
I just got the Meta Quest Pro controllers for my Quest 3 and the firmware update has been stuck at 0% for about 30 minutes. I have tried restarting my headset, clearing up storage space, restarting the controllers, and unpairing and attempting the update through the Meta Quest mobile app. This issue happens on both v79 and v81. Has anyone else experienced this or has suggestions to get the update to start? Thanks in advance.

Hi there. Like a lot of Quest 3 users on this forum and on Reddit, I too have problems with my Quest 3 disconnecting from the wifi every 15 to 20 minutes or so. I was hoping that the last three firmware updates would help. Meta had said that v67 has helped with this, but I'm still disconnecting. It's really frustrating when playing a game or while on the Bigscreen app.I've tried everything in addition to the new firmware updates - I've changed between ipv4 and ipv6 on my router, and I've erased the Quest OS and reinstalled everything multiple times. I've also rebooted my CenturyLink modem/router a couple of times. Nothing works. Is there anyone - including Meta support - that has any ideas on what to do now? Or is it possible that my headset is faulty and needs to be exchanged. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
i just got my quest 3s 4 days ago and ive been really enjoying it. Before it, i had a quest 1 and almost always played vr games on the pc and it never had any problems. I connected once with the 3S 3 days ago and it worked just fine, but, i dont remember exactly, after i did the update i think, 2 days ago, i couldnt even connect properly on air link and it lagged so much. So then, i saw that the network band was at 2.4ghz, i checked the router and its not dual band, so it doesnt have 5ghz. Its literally the same router i was using with the quest 1 just a year ago and 3 days ago with the quest 3S. Wtf is this nonsense pls help me
Bonjour. Merci
so now everytime i start up link it keeps lagging like crazy. i dont have the minimum requirements but it has worked fine until now. its lagging to the point whre i have to wait 1 hour to load a simple game. ive tried rebooting my headset and laptop and uninstalling and reinstalling meta quest link app but it still has the same issue.can anyone tell me how to fix this or am i just stupid and its just the minimum requirements?
I've still got my old controllers but got a new headset as previous one broken, it's a meta quest 3s how do I connect to the WiFi as I can't pair the controllers until I've got WiFi please help thank you x
my remotes have been disconnecting on and off since I bought the game. However, just recently a few weeks ago the left was off more than on. After troubleshooting, it stopped blinking lights and not pairing at all. Now, I’m stuck on pair screen on headset. I’ve tried all the tips and tricks except get a new remote because it seems to be a software glitch with Meta, as it couldn’t be hardware, I’ve done absolutely nothing to them also the right was doing it. Now the right has remained paired but the left will not at all. Is there a way to get out of the pairing screen after hard reset, without another remote? All forums seem to not be able to fix it and customer support was no help and just wants me to purchase another remote.
Hello, I have an Oculus Quest 2. After turning it on for the first time in a while, the Store and Library wouldn’t load at all.I decided to factory reset the headset. After that, it asked me to pair it with the app, so I downloaded the Meta Horizon app on my phone and created a new Meta account. However, I can’t complete the pairing process. When I try to contact support, I get a message saying that there are no devices linked to my account, so I can’t submit a ticket. How can I fix this issue and pair my Quest 2 with my new Meta account? Thank you.
I tried to pair the Meta app with quest 1, so I played the 5-digit code, paired it, and it went to the safety level, so I didn't move on to the next level and stopped there
my USB connecting fine its just that every time I plug in the display nothing happens not even a sound there is no visible damage on the wire whatsoever, can someone please explain how i can connect this
So basically from my left controller, I can rotate it 360 but I literally can’t move it. I think the tracking is messed up, but has anyone ever had this issue before and if so, does anyone have a fix?
I have a Quest 2 headset that I use in locations with no WIFI or internet. I am trying to cast the headset to a laptop. I have set up a wireless network with a BT Hub 1 and both laptop and headset connect but when I try to cast to the laptop running win 11 and air receiver the headset reports no internet connection. Is it possible (and how) to cast the headset to a laptop without an internet connection. Any help appreciated
My Meta Quest 3 is no longer recognized properly by Windows 11.In Device Manager, it shows up as “Reality Labs xSRP Interface” with Error Code 10.It used to work perfectly and I can’t tell what happened.Setup:Motherboard: MSI Z490-A PRO GEFORCE RTX 3070CPU: IntelUSB-C: Onboard port (no PCIe USB cards connected)Cable: Official Meta Link Cable (certified 5 Gbps)Other devices (iPhone, SSDs, controllers) work fine on all USB portsWhat I’ve already tried:Hardware / PortsRemoved all PCIe cards (only GPU installed)Tested all USB ports (rear USB-C, USB-A, front headers)Tested with a powered USB-C hub → same issueTested multiple 3.2 and 3.0 cables, including the official Meta Link cableTested the Quest 3 on another PC → works perfectly there Software / DriversFully uninstalled Meta Link / Oculus softwareManually deleted all leftover folders: C:\Program Files\OculusC:\ProgramData\OculusC:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\OculusC:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Roaming\Oculus &nb
I tried to provide feedback to the Meta team on this issue but apparently they have no way of accepting feedback other than through this topic system, so apologies if this is already reported or isn't the place to report etc. I'm new to this platform. I purchased a Quest 3 and what was originally huge excitement to fire up the device soon turned into sheer frustration and almost regret at even buying it in the first place. I was unable to update the device for hours after switching it on because after connecting to my WIFI network it was constantly (literally every few seconds) connecting and disconnecting and wouldn't stop. I was completely unable to use the device. After spending hours looking at these forums, Reddit forums, Youtube videos and various websites for reasons why and trying all sorts of methods like resetting the device, resetting my router multiple times and even doing a complete factory reset, I finally found out that it's because the Quest 3 seems to struggle ope
My meta quest 3 controller won’t update. Just started having the problem when it tried to update the firmware. Right controller updated just fine. I’ve unpaired it and repaired it. I even factory reset my headset and that didn’t fix it either.
When I tryed to put my email on http://www.meta.com/device it just keep on saying that it does not work I need help on how to fix this

Hi. When I put my oculus on and hit the menu button the screen won’t bring anything up. All it shows is the room. What do I need to do ?
Hello. I have had my pro controllers for about a year. I’ve taken very good care of them and have always kept them charged. But just three days ago when I went to get on my quest 2 a notification popped up that said “controller update in progress” and it just disappeared. Now for the past 3 days I have not been able to use my controllers and every time I turn on my quest 2 it says “controller update in progress. The controllers lights don’t blink and I can still use the home button but the controller itself just won’t track at all. I’ve tried factory resetting my quest, updating controllers from phone app, unlinking and linking again, And none of it worked. If anyone could help me I’d really appreciate it.
I just got my new Quest 3 3 days ago. When I connected it through Oculus link app and a genuine Oculus link cable to my PC the connection dropped almost immediately. After reconnecting I noticed that even the slightest movement of the plug of the link cable (while it is plugged in) results in a disconnection. This makes connecting to a PC with a link cable practically unusable as almost every time I move I get disconnected. I want to add that there is nothing wrong with the cable. I use the same cable to connect to my old Quest 2 and my link connection is absolutely solid. Have I been just very unlucky or is there a design flaw or fault of the USB port on the Quest 3 headset? I had a chat via live support. I am now expecting an email from the support. I guess I will need to wait to see what happens next...
