I am unable to use the mic on my quest 3 on the Xbox cloud app. In privacy and security in the mic permission list the Xbox app doesn't appear so I can't do it there. If anyone has gotten this to work and can help me I'd really appreciate your help.
Need help! My son has a Meta 3s and when we recently moved homes, the old network (same SSID as current house) is locked into his device and there is no way to forget this network and connect to the new one. It acts like it can’t see the new one and we can’t forget the old one. No “>” character. He can’t connect to the WiFi and this is obviously a huge problem. I’d like to avoid a full factory reset so he doesn’t lose all previous purchases, etc. What should I do?
My son is starting back on the VR after being off of it. I want to create a whole new account and connect his VR to this new account so I can set it up appropriately, I am unsure why it is not working but everytime I go to add my card info onto my account it says that something went wrong and it will not allow me to connect anything. This Meta situation is truly frustrating me and NO ONE is able to help me via support. I need assistance ASAP. Thank you
I was asked to log out and log back in to my horizon since then my cask tells me to go to auth.meta.com and a Gmail i cant access yesterday the app asked for a code and no code i did manage to put the sérial number in a Meta websire and it was working with my old games but problem profile now nothing same problem the app wont even pair or ask for code whats going on why is it so complicated to play games he coule play but allgamesno one in serveurs and need updates nowstuck on auth screen again for 10th time
Got a quest pro recently in mint condition and has absolutely no problems other than it refusing to maintain a connection on only the 5ghz bandwidth of my WiFi. It works fine with mobile hotspots and maintains a consistent connection on 2.4ghz but I plan to use it for PCVR so that's not really an option. It's not traffic on the router either as I have tested with nothing else connected to it. If anyone has any advice on this or has been in a similar situation some help would be appreciated as I've looked everywhere to find there is no info on this at all. Even Meta support couldn't figure it out.
so a few days ago, I noticed that my left controller isn't pairing and I thought I might of just unpaired it then I tried to pair it again, but it was saying it was already paired but it just was not working or showing in games except for when I tested the controller dead zone and it does still move so it does work but I have no idea how to resolve this issue. I've switched batteries. I've tried to pair and unpair on both the quest and on the meta quest app and nothing has resolved the issue so far I haven't had this controller for too long. It's in perfect condition just a few scuff marks but it just randomly stopped tracking and doesn't show in games or in the home screen. Please can anyone help me? I don't want to factor reset because I did that with an old controller to try resolve the same issue and I couldn't use my vr for another four months pleas can anyone one help me? if you had the same issue and managed to fix it pleas let me know
I'm trying to pin a browser window from my desktop that has my Twitch chat. I'm following the guide below. I've got the Link application installed, but don't know this step of "Next, you will add a desktop panel to the Oculus Air Link, and then you can select the Twitch chat window.". How to See Twitch Chat in the Quest 2 - Ready VR One
I haven't played vr in a while. So as I've booted up and it the device gave me a code and asked for the email I logged in with which I put in and it says its not registered to an account? I've tried every email I have and looked at forums and done the steps for solution. Can anyone help me out here?
I recently received my replacement headset. I can not complete setup as it is not connected to the wifi or the old controllers. I have tried using the app to no aval.
No matter what I try, I can not get any game audio when using the Meta Quest Link to cast to my PC.I want to stream my VR Gameplay from my goggles to Twitch using OBS. The Meta Quest Link program can view my VR Video just fine, but no matter what I do I can not get any audio to come thru the PC.There has to be some sort of solution to this problem.
No wifi network pops up when I try to connect to wifi after factory resetting. Can't erase any old wifi and even if I tried to turn on the wifi option it doesn't work. Could I please get some help?
Recently moved and hadn't used my Quest 3 for some time. I had issues connecting, so did a factory reset. The screen goes to an image of controllers and how to set up first time. I have controllers already set up and used. Took batteries out, restarted, did not help. No code appears to connect to the app. QR code on phone / app is useless. I have 3 different Quests (3 and 3S ) and so far cant connect any of them...thanks

https://youtube.com/shorts/bsiso3oTbxUPC specs: i9-13900k, ROG 3060ti, 64GB DDR5 6000, MSI Z790 A wifi (no 6E hotspot, thanks windows) In DCS or IL-2 I will sometimes get this severe screen tearing where the screen will freeze for a second, then in one eye or the other there is either a pixilated ghosting of the image/and or a harsh vertical or horizontal line where the image is being rendered slightly differently. I can easily temporarily fix this by either going to the headset local passthrough and back with the double tap, or taking it off and putting it back on again. Sometimes this will fix it for seconds, sometimes hours. If I don't "fix it" and back out to the Rift home, or steam VR home, the issue comes with it. Same kind of tearing in the steam VR home, however it's presented differently in the Rift menu. No pixelization or tearing, but a severe sway of the environment when I move my head. I do the double tap and back, then it's gone, in both environments.T
Quest 2 v79.1032 - Bluetooth will no longer connect to my Hearing Aids. Devices will pair but will not connect. Bug report sent via headset.I can no longer use the sideloaded Android app for my hearing aids to change settings in the devices for the best sound experience. It would be nice if Meta would support the native Bluetooth features available in many hearing aids (there is a standard spec avaiable).
After about 2 minutes of stable gameplay, network latency starts to spike, causing the image to freeze for split seconds. I've tried multiple Wi-Fi networks, but it hasn't helped, even setting the bitrate to 10mbps still gives me the same spikes. If I completely turn off Wi-Fi on the Quest 3 and turn it back on, the network stabilizes for a short while, but after a few minutes, the spikes return. Is there any way to fix this ? This never happened on my Quest 2, which I used just a week ago.If I turn off the 802.1ax band, it's a bit better and by that I mean it doesn't freeze everytime I move my head, but again, after some minutes it becomes worse, even with a turned off ax band, I can use 200mbps but after that, stutters begin and I have to turn it down to around 80 and it still freezes, tho a lot less rarely and could be tolarsted in low intensity games. TldrAx band on: stable first 2 min of gameplay, after that it stutters heavily even at 10mbps Ax band off: 200mbps fine fo
This all started when I factory reset my headset because certain apps and games stopped working by and updating for me, so I factory reset. But now I’m not able to connect my oculus to my app no matter what account I use, It always says the same thing; “Not able to pair your headset” and then it talks about trying to factory reset. I’ve factory reset a couple times no and I have tried sideline update and boot device but it’s still not working. Someone please help🙏
Please upgrade my account to premium or some kind of official verification and blue tick. Thank you because I need this tick. Thank you for being so kind.@mryadakia This is my account and I want you to approve it.
I recently received a meta quest 2 from someone using it through their school and keep getting told to connect through the account given by the organization even after factory reset. Is there any fix to this?
Hi Meta team,As a new PCVR user, I’ve got to be honest — the way PC Link works with the Dash interface just isn’t doing anyone any favors. For people like me who just want a fast, clean connection, Dash feels like an extra layer we don’t need. It slows things down, takes up resources, and honestly, SteamVR could handle the connection perfectly well on its own. For hardcore PC VR players, it’s a solution to a problem that wasn’t there to begin with.I get that Dash is part of your vision for a unified experience, but it ends up feeling more like an obstacle — and yeah, another storefront we didn’t ask for. When we’re wired in for max performance, we just want the smoothest, fastest link possible.Sure, Virtual Desktop is great, but not everyone has a rock‑solid internet setup. Some of us prefer to avoid even the smallest bit of Wi‑Fi lag and push as much data as possible over a wired connection. My suggestion: Give us a “Pro” or “Advanced” mode that lets PC VR enthusiasts bypass Dash comple
Yesterday I was playing with my controller just fine not turning off on me but today when I move my arm to fast or just move then the wrong way they disconnect and its only been happening to the left but then the right started doing it and now they just suddenly start working like why are my controllers acting up because they are going to do it again I need solutions
I am really struggling over here to resolve my meta link quest situation. I connect my headset to my pc and it shows 3 dots with a black screen. I repaired twice and clean installed once, I reset firewall settings and made sure oculus wasn’t blocked, I set the oculus programs to high performance, I tried all my USB ports, I tried air link, I also opted in to the public beta updated and restarted, and opting out and updating and restarting, I tried deleting the dash folder. Oculus mirror shows that there is a black screen with nothing on it. The cable test reports good with 2.1 Gbps.Trying to start a game doesn’t change the black screen. I tried contacting support but they said there’s no device registered, I tried another method to verify and it asked for the serial number, I checked settings and there’s no serial number. I have a quest 1, and windows 10. I have previously been able to use meta quest link. Would anyone be able to offer advice or help here?Thx
On my Meta Quest 2 headset, when i factory reset it, it said owned by name, which was me, but on my other phone on a different account, still there, not admin, but on my headset, when i try to repair, it said the device is already owned on my account, but the device is gone, someone help me, and i am pairing the headset to my own account that owned the headset.
I've wanted to use my Oculus Quest 1 again and I am trying to get Air Link to work again. Before I had it working but now I had to reinstall everything and the Air Link will not work. I am able to see my PC with link but once I click Pair it does nothing and on the Meta Quest Link App it just says to connect my headset.
