Hello,I recently purchased a used Quest 2, and during the initial setup, I'm required to pair it with the Meta Horizon app. However, when I log into the app and attempt to pair the headset, I receive the following error message:"Relay: Unexpected response payload – check server logs for details."This appears to be a server-side issue on Meta's end.I've tried multiple troubleshooting steps — including using a different smartphone, a different Meta account, and a different internet connection — but nothing has worked so far. To make matters more urgent, I need to confirm the device is functioning properly to the seller within 48 hours.Given that I'm stuck at the pairing screen, how can I verify that the headset is working? Is there any known workaround for this issue, or an estimated timeline for when it might be resolved? Thanks in advance for your help.
I have a problem connecting my Meta Quest 3s virtual reality helmet to my Meta Harizon mobile app account. The thing is that I've been using this helmet for six months now and every time the app can't find the VR helmet, once at the very beginning I connected it but due to some error it disconnected and hasn't connected since. Also complicates the situation that I can connect to the broadcast of this helmet, like I will see on my phone what the person in the helmet sees, but to connect this helmet to Meta Harizon account does not work, I passed the stage where you need to enter a code of five digits, but this does not help, as I think VR helmet stupidly does not let me find it, please help..
Hi, I've successfully managed to pair some Bluetooth headphones to my sons quest 3s but audio is coming out of the headset and the headphones and volume seems to change for both at the same time. Please can someone help me set it up so it only comes through the headphones and not the headset itself. Nothing I've found online has helped.
I have been using cabled Quest Link successfully on a Windows 10 pc. It's not without its issues, but I manage quite well. I also have Steam installed. In an effort to discover if Steam affects my Meta program (long story), I have installed a second version of Windows 10, on a dual-boot scenario. In other words... both Windows 10 (fully up-to-date), same USB cable, same USB port, same headset, same Quest Link app version. Only program on the new install is Quest Link... which doesn't work! It recognises my pc in the headset, but when I attempt to connect, all I get is the Meta logo, the swirling colours and the infamous 'three dots'. Oh, and a message on my computer saying that "Meta Quest isn't working properly"... thank you for pointing out the obvious! The only difference I can see between the two installs is that I didn't install any of my normal programs (VLC, MS Office, Firefox etc. and of course, Steam).Question: Why won't it work? Short of installing all the other unrelated progr

Hi guys, does anyone has this problem where when you use the casting meta app it doesn’t have audio on the computer speakers?, I can hear everything on the headset, but sadly not on my computer, I already click the mute bottom like 10 times, and also reinstall the meta app but nothing works
Bonjour,Je n'arrive plus à configurer mon oculus GO car je suis bloqué au moment de visualiser la vidéo santé et sécurité.Pouvez-vous m'aider, SVP ?Merci.
I am losing my mind.i can't use my headset because the ocuylus app has to update each time i use it, and this time it has completely stopped working.it started with the app just dissappearing without removing the desktop and start menu shortcuts. i then tried to install it again, and it started, but it says it can.t connect to meta quest servers or something. when i press repair, it fails, and ends up uninstalled again.I have tried several times to install the app, reinstall it, repair it, nothing works.please just let me use my headset without your stupid app, i beg you.....
Hi I’m trying to cast my Meta Quest 3 to a TV without using an internet connection. I have a local Wi-Fi network (router only, no internet), and both the Quest 3 and the TV with Chromecast are connected to the same network. Is there a way to cast the headset screen to the TV in this setup without needing internet access? I want to share the gameplay on the TV while offline. Any advice or workaround would be really helpful. Thanks!
Hello, I have a Meta Quest 3 Driver currently Meta Link version currentlyWindows 10 updates up to date (both computers) All drivers etc.I have the problem that Meta Link keeps closing and crashing on its own. I tried connecting it via USB 3.0 and USB 3.2 to two different computers, and on both computers I have the problem that the link simply breaks without warning. I also ordered a second cable from a different brand, but it behaves exactly the same way.
Hi! To start with all of this worked totally fine yesterday evening—no settings have been changed. So this is happening suddenly!I set up my quest 2 to my PC as per usual through link (with a cord directly to the PC) and went to talk to my partner on discord as we usually do when playing together and I couldn’t hear him nor was it picking up my audio. Inputs and outputs are as they should be both on windows and on discord. Tried restarting and resetting everything, made sure everything was up to date, made sure I wasn’t somehow muted on the quest itself, but nothing fixed it.I went on VRchat through PC and people on there could hear me fine so it seems to be a quest-discord specific problem. From time to time I could get it to work for a second but then the quest would make a beep sound and all audio would cut off for discord.Any advice would be amazing because this is one of the main activities I do with my long distance partner :( being able to talk to him through discord while using
For info, i have a Quest 3S and are trying to use air link on my pc. When i try and click "set Meta Quest Link as active" the button does absolutely nothing.
I am trying to download the app for my pc and this error keeps popping up..how do I chose the drive i want to use?
Just two weeks ago, my two controllers encountered an error where they couldn't update their firmware. Inside the VR headset, it displayed "Controller firmware update failed," and in the settings, it showed "Controller not connected," making both controllers unusable. To get them working again, I used the "Meta Horizon" app to unpair the controllers and then re-paired them. However, most of the time, it would show "Controller firmware update in progress" and then just keep loading indefinitely. After many attempts, occasionally the VR headset would connect to the controllers, but it still showed the firmware update failure. Moreover, if I restarted the VR headset, the controllers would return to the disconnected state. On my "Meta Horizon" app, it would show that the controllers were all right, but they still couldn't be used.
Before I continue, I’ve removed the batteries and repaired the controllers. I don’t suspect the controller it self to be the problem. This issue started after the most recent update. I’m able to play games still but I find when I go to the navigator to open a browser or anything else I’m unable to click anything with my right controller. The white pointer beam stays blue. I know for a fact the buttons are working fine because I’ve played a game a breachers just fine. Until this morning I noticed my player going prone without me pressing anything. Also noticed that even if I put the controller down quest 3 won’t recognize my hands. Not even if I tap the controllers twice together. I played a game of demeo this morning just fine but the the bug in the nav menus were not good despite working in game. I believe this has something to do with either the firmware update for the controllers and or the most recent v79. I’m dying for this to be resolved as it is a very annoying issue t
My quest3 left controller can't connected to my headquest. I've try many times to upair and repair, reboot, factory reset both headquest and controller, nothing worked! It's always being updating the hardware when i try to use my phone app to repair, it shows connected, but headquest didn't. In Meta horizon app,it only shows a series number, but no battery status,no hardware version, just empty, the left controller blinks sos light。what can i do for this? Look forward to your help.
I purchased a Quest 3 late last year and have been using Supernatural a lot. My wife has a profile as well and also uses the headset. We recently purchased a second Quest 3 headset with the intention of being able to use them simultaneously for things like Together Boxing.I cannot figure out how to establish a separate account on the new headset, with its own download of Supernatural. Only one headset can use the app at anyone time, and I can't seem to figure a way to purchase another copy of Supernatural through my wife's meta horizon account. Is there a baseline meta quest account I need to purchase for our second headset before I will be able to buy apps for it independently? If anyone has the magic answer I would be most appreciative.
Hope i posted the title properly, this has been an ongoing issue since I started playing VRChat from day one. In game I have maybe 17 to 20 FPS with a AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D, 128GB of DDR4-3600 RAM, and just now added a Hellhound AMD Radeon RX7900 XTX, While my my system would not be an absolute tier 10 system, it's in the upper brackets due to the on board 96MB of L3 V-Cache, & the AMD Radeon RX7900 XTX with 24GB of RAM. Why is it that I have seen NO improvement with this new AMD Radeon RX7900 XTX. I typically like to play with a Meta Quest Pro using Air Link, but also use a high end Syntech USB A to USB C charging cable with 65W charging port, to "try and keep the Quest Pro charged". In the end, either on Link Cable or Air Link I am only getting about 17 to 20 FPS with META, why does it seem like META is the bottleneck, and is there a reasonable fix? Thanks
So these guys deleted my other posts about my Rift S and how much Meta Quest Link was messing up my new pc.I've recently updated the bios, reseated the cable connected to the headset, cleaned the cameras, made sure camera access was enabled on my pc, Bought a powered USB hub, and have my nvidia drivers up to date. While trying to make absolutely sure camera access was enabled, I stumbled upon the Rift S in device manager under imaging devices. Looking at properties, it says the driver date is 4/30/19 and version is 1.0.01. Clicking update driver only searches my pc for updates and not the internet. I haven't been able to find any downloads to update this, if there even is/was an update.I'm wondering if this could be this issue. I've checked multiple times to make sure my brand new pc is compatible even though meta quest link app says it's not. My pc specs are :Intel Core i7-14700K (3.40 GHz), 32.0 GB Ram, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB
Hey all. I figured I'd post this, just in case it actually helps anyone.Suddenly, for no apparent reason (no update done, nothing installed or uninstalled), neither of my controllers would 'wake up' or pair. I'd simply powered up the headset and the controllers were both dead....sort of.They appeared unresponsive, but the lights worked, and a 'pointer' coming from the trigger seems to work but not do anything. The pointer moves with each controller, implying a connection of some kind.Reboots and new batteries did nothing. They both unpaired, but once unpaired, I couldn't re-pair. I tried everything many, many times. Brand new batteries, hold the meta button + Y, hold X and tap the meta button five times, etc. Nothing worked. So, last ditch effort, a factory reset. When I ended-up at the controller pairing screen, I could do nothing. I'm hosed! Tried changing batteries a few times, hoping it might 'wake' them. Nothing. At on
My right controller won’t Pair. I did a factory reset of the headset and now I cannot get past the pairing part because it refuses to pair no matter what I do. The light will blink but it will not vibrate and connect. Left controller paired fine. Please help
it blows my mind how difficult it is to get a simple thing (cable link) to work. ive gone through debug tools, new cables, updates, i even tried to switch to beta hoping they somehow had a fix in the new beta update! no, ive spent upwards of 10 to 20 hours trying to solve this, its rediculous how well the quest 3 works and the hardware being so good but meta cant even put a decent linking app together. the other thing that pisses me off is that this is a known issue ive seen in 10 to 20 reddit/oculus form posts. meta wtf, please just fix this issue its not my job to fix it after spending 500 dollars on the hardware. i have been deving my own apps and i can build and flesh out a basic app in the time it takes me to get a pre developed app to simply link to my quest. its super frustrating
I can’t open support ticket with Meta, it says i dont have a device under my Meta account! But in the horizon app we see my deviceive been struggling to get help for the past 4 hours it is very frustrating it does not let me authenticate with the serial number either
I fixed the ribbon in my controller and now it won't pair
