I have used my Meta Quest Pro four times. It is dead and now will not charge when plugged into the factory charger.
Hi Guys,i am using the Meta Link feature. For a event scenario i am searching for providing Audio to the Meta Quest3 User via Meta Link and the same Audio to the other visitors. So everybody can follow the experience. In windows i can only choose one output device. I like to provide audio also to the speakers of the workstation not only to the meta link stream. Is it possible ?Best,Philipp
Seems to be a common issue. I've tried a lot of the fixes I've found on the forum but nothing has worked. What do I do?
title says it all, the headset has been out for 3 years and yet tracking loss is still persistent on quest pro, despite being in a well lit environment the controllers will all of a sudden loose their positioning and tracking, they don't work unless you put them back on the base station or reset the headset. I have tried everything to troubleshoot these controllers, I want to love the headset but the controller tracking is awful. It baffles my mind that Meta shipped out a "pro" headset with worse controller tracking than their Quest 2. It is extremely frustrating, Meta knows we are suckers for buying this headset and they seem dead-set on never addressing this issue. There have been multiple reddit threads, and threads on this very forum (that have now been seemingly scrubbed) discussing this This headset feels like a 1500$ paper weight, I really don't understand how the controller tracking is so terrible for so many. Who do they plan to sell a Quest Pro 2 to?
I recently purchased the meta quest 3 to use in my office, while trying to get the link app setup I keep running into an error message after about on 8th of the loading bar for the installation after the download period, the Error message says "Restart Computer. sorry, we encountered an error during installation. Please restart your computer and try running link setup again, if you still experience issues, contact quest support. we have checked over logs, we have removed all antivirus, and restrictions even as far as trying it in safe mode with network, and we get the same answer. can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or missing? my computer specs are windows 11 version 24H2 latest update32 gig ramIntel R Ultra 9 285 2.5 GHzNvidia GeForce RTX 5070 latest drivers
I have the 3 and the 3s Xbox edition. I have to send the controllers in for warranty replacement and wanted to use the Xbox edition touch controllers on my quest 3. I have found they will not pair. On the 3s you see that they are Xbox editions but there is no selection on the 3. Anyone else confirm?
Last night I was playing Orion drift (if that matters) and my left controller started to glitch, and started vibrating and blinking. I'm pretty sure it was updating. I got fed up and put it down and let them update, which they did it seemed like and stopped vibrating. This noon I came in and my left controller wouldn't blink, vibrate, or connect. I tried pairing it and repairing it it would say "paired successfully" and would show up in the app even showing the percentage. When I was pairing them, they vibrated but the light didn't turn on like it normally should. When I looked on VR, no connection, didn't even show up as connected, tried to see if I can wake it up, nothing. This makes me pissed because these controllers aren't too old and I'm not trying to get another one. Yes I tried taking the battery out for 15-30 min, I've tried fresh batteries, cleaning the controllers, nothing, no response. Meta support wasn't too big of help either. Does anyone know a solution or has this happe
Final update: I had to factory reset my headset to get my controllers to track properly again. Unfortunately the headset OS updated and now the game I play, Breachers, crashes on startup on my Quest 2. That's me done with VR.Trying to play some Breachers today, as is normal I have to restart my headset 5 or 6 times to get the Quest Pro controllers to track correctly with my Quest 2 headset, sometimes they stay in a static position and this seems to reset the connection to get it to work. However today is especially worse, they randomly move their tracking positions about 4 inches every few seconds and then move back again, as you can imagine, if you're trying to aim a gun in VR it makes it pretty much impossible. After about 45 minutes of repairing, restarting and restarting the headset I've given up and come to the forums to complain. It's so frustrating when you want to pick up your headset and play a game for 30 minutes but you have to fiddle around first, this time it was completely
I'm unable to play VR videos from PC. I need to control playback from PC. No need to use joystick
Hey everyone, I just got the Oculus Quest 3 and tried it out. I noticed that the text and images appear blurry. Is this normal, or should I consider returning it?
When pairing with Quest3 by AirLink, the PC sent mdns response xx._oculusal_sp_v2._tcp.local, but it's TTL is 1, some AP will not forward it, so the airlink is not built. Why Oculus PC app sent with TTL=1, can change to other TTL value?
well, my headset can only display stuff only if I cast from my phone, anyone knows how can I fix this?
Hi, my sons Quest 3s right controller keeps disappearing and reappearing in the VR world. I was stuck on the 0% update for a day and managed to get passed that stage but now even though it is paired and the buttons work it struggles to appear on screen. When it does it goes off within 10 minutes. I have factory reset the device and also changed battery. Paired and unpaired lots of times. Has anyone got and advice please?
I've had my quest 2 for about 4 years, and have always been able to Air Link, I recently moved in with my boyfriend, he uses Air Link with his Quest 3, he isn't struggling with AirLink. My oculus Recognizes my PC as I'm able to 'remote desktop' but when I use air link it can't find my PC. I've reset everything, deleted and redownload the oculus app, and still nothing. What's going on?
Hello, I can't pair the goggles with the app. I press pairing and nothing works in the phone app and I can't do anything in the goggles because it's waiting for pairing or using the code. Thanks for the help.
I am unable to cast my screen to the computer using usblink, and the "cast" button in meta quest link is unclickable.I also attempted to use the Cast function in the Meta Developer Hub for screen projection, but it still failed. The headset would report that the Cast application process ended abnormally.
The trigger button on the right Quest 2 controller does not press all the way down, while in real life everything is fine in the pressing sequence, but in virtual reality the controller does not press all the way down (about 90% of the pressing).
Scheduling delete of 'C:\Users\rcstr\AppData\Local\Temp\... Why is this on my computer ,always screwing my **bleep** up !
Hello, my Meta account was previously bound to a phone number, but now I am unable to receive the two-factor authentication code via my phone number. I need your assistance. Could you please advise me on what materials I need to provide to assist in proof? Thank you
So I have a quest 2 and I haven’t used it in a long time. (Around 2 years) Getting back on it at a new house (new internet connection) and get the message that I had been logged out and need to re log back in. Now I still have the app on my phone and when powering up the headset my app connected to my quest. But it still wants me to enter the code on meta and put in my email. When I try to do this I get this error code (It looks like there isn’t an account associated with and then my email) I know it’s the right email because I’ve logged in to everything I can with that email to test it and even looked on the app to see what email was on it. I haven’t changed the email so that’s not the issue. I’ve read through some of the forms and through the help through meta but haven’t been able to fix this issue. I’ve restarted the headset multiple times and done a 30 second power on off a 1 minute and 5 minute. I really don’t want to factory reset the headset or make a new account being that I s
hi so i have a problem so i am paring my vr to my app and it's saying that there's already an account on it and i don't know how to delete it
Urgent: Gifted Headset Bricked by Factory Reset - No Controller, No Setup, No Warranty Help!Hey everyone,I'm reaching out to the Meta community today because I'm completely stuck and frankly, pretty frustrated with Meta's support.I recently received a 512 GB Meta VR headset as a gift. It was just the headset itself, no controllers. When I powered it on, I saw it still had the previous owner's account on it. Wanting to do the right thing and start fresh, I immediately performed a factory reset. And that's where everything went sideways. Now, the headset is permanently stuck on a "Sync Controller" screen. There's absolutely no way to bypass it, no workaround, nothing. It's just a digital brick.I contacted Meta Customer Service, hoping for a solution. Their response? My only options are to buy a brand new headset (which I just got, so no thanks!) or purchase new controllers for $150. This is completely unacceptable. I have a perfectly good, under-warranty headset that's unusable becau
Hi,I've observed a consistent issue with Meta Quest Link (tested with Quest 3 and Windows 11 PC):Scenarios:Internet available (PC online): → Headset connects instantly via Air Link or cable. Everything works flawlessly. No internet (PC offline): → Headset gets stuck during connection with black screen, the Meta logo and controller lasers, then freezes — never reaches the desktop. Link app on the PC shows that the headset is connectedInternet available during Meta Link app launch, then disconnected: → Headset connects normally, even after internet is lost. This suggests that the Meta Quest Link app requires internet during startup, likely for authentication. Once it's launched with internet, it works fine even after going offline.Request:Please consider allowing the Meta Link app to start without internet for local-only use. This would greatly help users in offline or secure network environments. Thanks!
My left controller pairs and shows its paired. But will not show up in my vr head set. But it shows its connected in the headset. I did all the troubleshooting.. paired re-paired.. changed battles. Reset my headset back to factory settings.
